- Members of a Somali refugee family got settled on Friday at their new home in northeast Kansas City. The family traveled to Kansas City on Wednesday from Kenya, a trip made longer after a Trump administration executive order attempted to ban travel for all refugees and citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries, including Somalia. I was once like them back 2009 and I told myself I'm starting better life, way better than refugee life I was before I came to state (idaho) guess what? I finished high school and I finished 2 college. I started working and I live paycheck to paycheck plus school loan and plus car loans. After 14 years in usa is now when I understood that usa government are taking those people in order to make money out of them and introduce them something called debt. Of course it is safe place to live but it suck your soul out of you by working everyday. Anyone who wants to come to united states ask yourself this question? United States have debt of 1 trillion dollars. Why are they bringing you here?
