One BIG problem with the theory. COLOR FADES ON THE MOON!
Because the moon has direct exposure to the sun and its radiation, with no atmosphere protection, color will fade to white.
Not to mention that chair is kinda too small for the other diamonds.

My biggest problem with the series is after a colony planet is hollowed out and it’s mass substantially decreases, how does the moon stay in orbit? Magic...

my biggest problem with the whole moon base is look at the chair...
while it may be white, it is TINY. Diamond's are supposed to be huge, like Yellow Diamond. Steven had to *climb* into YD's chair. If this was originally a white diamond base, how did PD change the chair?
I also doubt they'd willingly let a "baby" diamond to steal from the highest ranking diamond.
It just doesn't seem possible.

Maybe white didn’t want to redo the whole base to make it pink but put in a new chair for pink.
Yet somehow the smallest diamond managed to not only convince others to get a colony, she even managed to start a rebellion as seen in the Single Pale Rose episode with her alter ego, who says defective gems can’t do great things that seem impossible.

I have been LOVING your recent theories, dude!!!! I also love the idea that Pearl was like a Nanny, which I feel would also explain why she naturally is like a mother figure for Steven!! Not just the bossiness, but she had dealt with another form of a child like Steven who wanted more than they could handle (with Pink Diamond it was a colony and army, with Steven it was going on missions)

But why would they leave such an important job to Pink? I'm thinking maybe since Pink was not present as a big figure up until the point, and they intended to make Pink play a stronger role in the government, and she would certainly get approval and street cred as the diamond to create another homeworld, the new homeworld. By putting her in charge of this task she was able to gain credibility and be more prepared for the future.
As much as I'd like to believe Holly Blue and the Amethysts didn't question Amethyst's insignia because it seems normal, I'd like to point out that nobody questioned how/why Pearl had a star. I hope there's reasoning to this, but I've always thought it was more of a plot hole.

the base on the moon would have been degraded by the radiation it would be exposed to, much like the us flag that was planted on it when we landed on it would be just a white flag now, because the radiation would degrade it's color away. like this so otaku can see it please,
I love this theory! It would be great to have many of our seemingly contradictory theories actually come true together. I can’t wait to see Pink’s progression as well, considering she ended up so differently to what many of us believed she would be.

When you were talking about the drop ship being white you can see what looks to be faded pink paint on the outer ring on top which could suggest that the original drop ships came from pink but the moon base was setup by white.
The inside of the ship also had pink crystals
Could be more proof that Pink Diamond more so took over white diamonds operation by using her equipment since she had none, and because of her Napolean complex, was compelled to have everything decked out so people respected the color of her authority.

I think that white diamond built the moon base for pink diamond. (And a few other structures)
You could also do a video on a concept I think needs discussing...shattering. With how great the writing for this show is, and how poetic it is at times, I believe that Steven, in order to save say Connie or Pearl, will shatter a Diamond, mimicking what his mother did. Of course he'll feel like trash and it'll damage him permanently, but what I want to know is which Diamond do you think he should shatter: Blue or Yellow? I hope you'll make a video on this concept.

I think Blue needs to die. I think she needs to get axed because Blue is bad, but she's not mean. If you kill Yellow, then Blue becomes Yellow and her character becomes redundant. If Blue dies, Yellow upgrades her evil status as she lost her emotional equivalent making her completely unstable mentally. Plus, with the death of Blue, it would have a better chance of bringing out White Diamond and showing the complexity of losing a loved as we have seen Blue to be very compassionate.

I'd honestly like to see Steven in a moral conflict like that, but I just think that the show is too light for an actual on-screen shattering, or even to have Steven canonly do it. As I understand the story, Steven is supposed to be better than Rose, that being why she gave herself up to make Steven. He's supposed to learn from her mistakes.
Perhaps it's much like Avatar: the last Airbender, where Aang was put into a massive moral conflict. Either take a life, or let many get taken. Avatars before him, even other Airbenders, had taken lives or though that Aang should do it in this situation.
The show needs to get FUCKING Dark at some point. I love this show, but unless it goes to a darker change, people will lose interest and the show might end sooner than anticipated. The constant light tone is great, but if it makes a sharp turn and creates stories with moral dilemma will make the show continuously fresh and interesting. It might not be as kid friendly as it is now, but it needs to happen in order for it to have the shelf life that it deserves. Steven has to kill. He has to.

I for one cannot see pink as being short or defective nor can I see white diamond hating pink. (If you haven't yet you should hear the song afterall)
A diamond is a diamond a defective or shot one would not be acceptable. It'd ruin the image they are trying to portray.
I feel the reason we saw her as short was because Stevonnie being part rose quartz is naturally caring and understanding. Maybe it was to show how small she felt symbolically rather than literally.
I think maybe white wanted to help her conquer her first planet since it was her first and white is assumed to be the most experienced.
After the dream, Stevonnie finds the same pane of glass that Pink broke. It's one of the ones closest to the floor, and based on the crack pattern it looks to me like they would've been very similar in height, which also explains the relatively small size of the throne on the Earth's moon base. The height difference between her and Yellow seems to be quite literal.
As for why they would keep her around if she was defective, I would speculate that diamonds are probably incredibly expensive gems to make in terms of resources, and so they quite simply couldn't afford to just dispose of her. Rather, they may have tried to make the most out of the hand they were dealt, maybe by having her shape-shift to enlarge herself during any public appearances and depicting her as equal in height in murals and the like.
I don't quite understand why you're bringing up the song, though- 'After All' is from the musical 'Ever After', not Steven Universe, and you can infer as much from the lyrics (White Diamond probably wouldn't know what wine even is). It doesn't provide any insight into White Diamond as a character.
I honestly had no idea it was from a play I assumed it was a song white diamond would sing since it was said she was her voice actress, so I appreciate that.
In her human zoo (Arguably where she be most of the time if we believe she loves humans.) Her throne is a big pillow. Along with the stomping stevonnie did.Only something big could make such loud stomps.Not to mention the crewniverse's inconsistent sizing or design. I really don't think she could be small.
Let say she is for arguments sake. I can't see why they'd force her to shapeshift in public settings. They constantly threat shattering any gem that questions them.Why not simply shatter any who thought to look at pink funny? If she is defective or small. She is still a diamond afterall.
It's not like they don't see them as dispensable. Look at how yellow treated paradot.
I think it'd be more damaging if they did make her shapeshift. It's like saying yes one diamond isn't perfect. Which isn't exactly what they want to say.
The diamonds appear to lead mostly through tyranny and fear, and I'd say that their stature is a major component of that effect; hence why it makes sense to me that Pink would shape-shift to maintain the appearance of a perfect yet merciless leader one does _not_ want to cross.
I'll grant that the diamonds have a tendency to shatter gems for even the slightest hint of resistance, but I maintain that it would be more efficient to just fool the *gem*eral population (sorry) into believing that Pink was perfect like the others rather than wasting what would otherwise be useful servants.
As for the pillow thing, that's something I forgot about, to be completely honest. With all the inconsistencies and continuity errors, who honestly knows. At the very least, I maintain that Pink was most definitely below the height of the other diamonds, and I think I have made my case.
And considering that it was White Diamond's alleged voice actress who sung that song, the confusion is understandable.

I can agree that she could be smaller than the other three. I also appreciate the civil conversation it's %100 better than other conversations I've had with people in the fandom. (Then again that was on tumblr)
With all the previous height inconsistencies even just with characters like Peridot and Garnet, I don't think we can know for sure exactly how she measured up until we see her in flashback again, more clearly. To be honest, on my first viewing of the episode, I thought it was an exaggeration on Stevonnie's part, too. It was only when I noticed the glass outside the dream the second time around that I started to question that.

TheRezro it wasn't said clearly but it does have huge draws. Only another diamond could have shattered Pink. Maybe White shattered her. It started from being defective, to a very needy personality, White's claim on Earth taken for Pink, and Pink obtaining Pearl that originated from White.

But who said that she was shattered on the first place? Idea that White Diamond was responsible is equal theory as that Pink was defective, what also is just a speculation. Only thing what we can say for sure is that Rose Quartz shattering her is now highly unlikely, and that was one of few things we ware almost sure.
if she was shattered due to the fact that she could've stolen a pearl and a planet than her mural wouldn't be in the moonbase atleast not with her own planet and moon

so you know how in your morganite/rhodonite video you stated that morganites are sometimes used as diamond replacements and that they are a pink shade?
we never really get to SEE morganite, so there's a possibility that she pretended to be pink diamond using the appearance changing thing and that's why the mural is different. there is the factor that i don't think they can change their actual gem, but she could have just put something over or something who knows. that might also mean that the (tiny) pink diamond is still alive :0
also it might explain the whole "pink diamond bubbled" thing bc maybe that actually is pink diamond and the one shattered was morganite

How come no one notices that the diamond murals at the moon base are WRONG!!! It goes white on top pink on the left yellow on the right and then blue on the bottom. Wouldn't that mean that pink diamond is OLDER THAN BLUE AND YELLOW. Check around 1:32 of your video when the ruby ship enters the moon base. ALSO Why has no one notice that yellow pearl is actually PINK with the exception of her hair, slippers and the yellow puffs on her arm(that look A LOT LIKE PINKS TUTU). also notice that IN THE YELLOW PEARL SELFIE With YELLOW DIAMOND She does not have those yellow puffs on her arm and She is fully yellow all over....yellow diamond also looks different in the face.Also notice how Yellow pearl acts spoiled and Bratty just like pink diamond. Also during THE TRIAL when Steven is describing the events OF HOW HE SHATTERED PINK, yellow peal(pink pearl)looked annoyed like she knew he didn't know what he was Talking about, notice the way she looks up at Yellow (pink) with that can you believe this ish look. It's simple pink body hopped between yellow and blue the good Lars style, manipulated them to get her planet then got caught/ in trouble with the rebellion and got trapped inside yellow because she was shattered and couldn't return to her body. That's why she looked shocked when Steven admitted it to it , she knew she caused her own shattering. Yellow pearl is in the chest in lion) I know kinda all over the place but you know.
