2200 Watts on a vacuum motor is insane. Here in the US, Miele’s are 1200 Watts. Either that motor is wildly inefficient or it’s capable of sucking a golf ball through a garden hose
Please, advice: Somehow, the the dirt wasn't going into the bag, but all around the inside of the vacuum cleaner. I've removed all the filters and all were clocked and dirty. I will change them all and clean everything as much as possible. What I worry about is the motor. What should I do now? Thanks.
If you've changed all the filters and put a new bag in, all you can do is to check to make sure there are no blockages anywhere that can obstruct the suction. Hopefully after all of this it will be ok for you.
This was exactly my problem as well. It looks like the 'wings' (at each side) are supposed to go under the tabs on the sides but that is not correct. The wings sit on top of the tabs and the spring action upon them is what forces the seal when the lid is closed. If your wings are under the tabs the seal cannot form and you will have dirt being sucked into the compartment. You also have to make sure the bag makes a 'clip' sound when you slide it into the holder. It it's not all the way in, the dirt will bypass the bag and empty into the compartment.
Have you got any video on removing water from miele? It is for some reason flooded inside 😢. And i can smell ghe motor burning something while usinh it
That sounds very strange that you have water inside the vacuum, i would just switch it off and not use it if any electrical components are near the water for safety reasons.
@@lords-electrical well my husband used it yesterday for the car and it started raining heavily 🙈. It's currently hang upside down. Do you think there's hope or should I start looking for another. It has serves us well (over 12 years)
Personally i would leave it to dry in a warm area for several days, then try it out. Hopefully if it hasn't been used in the wet environment then you may be ok. 🤞
A lot of older types of vacuums used to use bags rather than just emptying a bin of the vacuum. Even now, some people prefer the bag style as it just gets rid of the rubbish in an efficient way without having to wash a bin and it saves the dust coming out of the bin too.
I have this vacuum cleaner. Thank you for the video. They supply filters with the genuine Miele bags.
Miele are the best
I agree, they are great vacuum cleaners
Thank you...been trying to open my brush,,,didn't realise a coin would do it!

You can reduce the power output. These machines were made before the EU changed the rules.
These vacuums could suck a bowling ball through a garden hose, they're the best.
Thank you so much, just done mine and the filters are drying.
i have the miele C3 cat and dog which is a newer model than this one they are super vacuum cleaners

Generic bags cause this - have to use genuine bags

You have to throw away the bag and get a new one? WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT!?

In Australia it cost me $99 for a years worth of and I don’t mind as the vacuum is best iv had in 50 yrs.😊
