Heard the podcast with Captain Logun. Great episode. Im just here to say that Logun is very wrong, and that Elden Ring and all Fromsoft games have very deep, detailed and tragic stories. Imo stronger stories than SOT ever brought to bare in the near 4 years ive been playing. And it bothered me so much I came here to say it.
I'm just glad you're getting to finally come to learn what I learned back in the day on sea of thieves that a dedicated well communicating galleon crew can take down any threat fairly easily
You was wrong about one thing. NOT ONLY YOUR MOM TELLS YOU THAT YOU ARE THE BEST SOLO SLOOP PLAYER. WE ALL DO NOW!!! Learn a lot about your strategy. Thanks!!!
Hello, I remember that, we did talk behind the scenes, I believe he was referring to how the trailer shows it, as it was more gameplay than a story but later said he'll give it a try and get into it.
Bro when the panic sets it all tends to go down hill for me. The order in which you perform your battle tactics are gold and I plan to incorporate a lot into my game gameplay you friggin rock brudda thank you!

trying to get back into this game, happened across this video thinking i was gonna watch 1 or 2 minutes and instead watched the entire thing. I subbed! totally gobsmacked by your skill in this game, incredible!
Big thanks, I watched these tip videos alot during my grind and gorgeous my curse a few days ago used to hate dealing with other players and ship fights but between grinding for the curse and watching your tip videos I feel like I can hold my own now
Hey dude, I absolutely love your content. You have taught me valuable tricks and tips that help me everyday on the sea. You bring your brain to the fight, sometimes that’s just enough to win it. I was guarding a fort vault and used the island’s stationary cannon to land the crispiest 6-piece on a sloop. They took off.
Dude this video needs a bit more recognition... this shit is wild, maybe Im just a complete noob at the game but some of the strats here broke my brain.
Phuzzy! I love these videos! Solo adventures that explain your thought processes are absolutely the best! Keep ‘em coming, I’ll catch you on the Twitchy Twitch:)
As of late my playstyle consisted of stopping at forts, grabbing as many kegs as I could and keeping them stashed at the beginning of the bowsprite, when I see pursuing ships I wait for them to get close enough and then bait them into a straight line where I jump off, stay underwater and wait for the ship to get too close to maneauver away, and release the keg so it floats to the surface. Had a very annoying reaper brig that fell for it hook line and sinker. Bonus points if you survive the blast and can then climb aboard. It doesn't work as well against sloops because they can turn easy, but baiting them into a rock arch can make up for that.
Falcore had a link to your video from Instagram. I believe you two sailed together, but have you ever been on a same server against each other. Not in arena but in open world? That would be kind of epic seeing HitboTC, Phuzzy Bond, Heal please Heal, and others who do good streaming without the nastiness that others have. This will be a fun watch. Don't care if they're on sloops or galleons, it would be great to watch for 6 hours. Even if it's a charity stream, I'd pay just to see this happen. Great work Mr Bond, Phuzzy Bond.
This guy's videos always get me in the mood to give the game a go. And then I do and get out paced every time... Today they lit that back cloth part of my sloop on fire and the game absolutely *refused* to let me put it out no matter how much water I threw at it...
hey phuzzy! (or anybody else who knows) what outfit are you wearing when you say you are the final boss? i really wanna get some parts of it for my self! thanks i advance
I raise you a challenge Master Phuzzy, 5 times this week I managed to stay afloat while in an emissary contract while being attacked, I completed each quest, 3 4 man crews, 2 brigs, 1 of the galleys had a legend while both brigs where legends, 1 had an Athena jacket. I'm not legend yet, in fact I'm only half way through both order and merchants and rounded to 40 on GH, while being a level 10 reaper.
You know, as a player that is (currently) bad at PvP, I always thought that SoT PvP was very one dimensional. Whoever boards/drops enemy anchor/chainshots the enemy mast first wins, and good PvPers are just too good at doing those things compared to bad PvPers. But you're giving some great insight on other layers of strategy and tactics that I've never seen or thought of before. This video earned a sub from me just for that... also that sly grin at 6:26 :P
is there a trick to being able to jump off ur boat without worry of it ending up hitting an island or rock or anything.. even if there isnt a island infront of my boat i find the waves end up changing its direction so i dont get how people jump off their boat so easily.
This is a smart player. Anticipation of the guy not eating. Used to play high level arena pvp in world of warcraft in the difference between players at the higher end was literally this level of anticipation
Did a little bit of solo this past weekend. I avoided everything and did single objective voyages. Very inefficient, but at least I got out with the loot without having to worry about anyone tracking me down and taking away all me booty.
I was new to the game a few months back and I was in a sloop being chased by a galleon so I did the only thing a noob can do and drive my boat into the red sea with them. Strategy- nobody wins
Me and my home boy did a fort of fortune and took the 2 ancient powder kegs, went towards a ashen winds event and when we got close a galleon crew had just finished it. So we take both legs and ram then with our sloop, jump out and both get blown up right under their ship. When I respawned our sloop had just sank and 2 of the other crew backspawned. So I 1v2 and then realize the rowboat we had was somehow still afloat. So I load all of the loot on the row boat and row from cannon cove past reapers hideout to some unmarked island but they somehow sailed back as I was leaving and didn’t see me because I had my homeboy sail back and distract them in the sloop
When I started sea of thieves years ago I started on PC but I ended up selling it an then got a Xbox for just sea of thieves an I got to pirate legend regrinding solo it took a couple of months an plenty of rage quitting an now I don't wanna start again on my PC so I have a keyboard an mouse set up with my Xbox an I got to say it run super smooth an it's way better then controller.
What i like to do is park my sloop in front of Port Merrick and load all of the wall cannons in wait for next pirate crew to come by and run around on my ship looking for loot. Proximity chat gets pretty hilarious.
Incredible sink! I was surprised that they fell for the cannon spot twice, but overall that was a competent crew. You've given me plenty to think about. Much Appreciation!
Holy crap your good! I supported sot a year before alpha and played with a crew all the time until quitting juat after megladon event. I wanna play again but I'd prob have to play solo and I know I'll just get eaten alive by groups

I have went aboard other players ships emptied all their balls and wood before fights then they have no defense. The only thing i would have done to the brig crew that you took out if dump the wood off the back as that might have been all they had. Love this game!
I'm so opposite, I put up the white flag, minimal supplies. If someone boards my sloop and kills me, and I see that they're not going to sink me. I just scuttle and move on. People get so bored attacking me they usually just move on to get a reaction from someone else 🤣

I love it when players are good because they can outsmart their opponents, not simply overwhelm them. It's very satisfying!
