OK. I like Motley Crue but the talent I see, you guys are too good to be a tribute band. Are y'all doing y'alls own thing too? If not then why not? If you can play and sound like the tributatory you are aiming for then you got talent. Unless you are faking it which don't seem y'alls case.
I know in a world where hip hop and pop rules but there are enough pissed off people in the world so capitalize on that. Other bands have. I would love to hear how y'all play y'all instead on Nickie, Vince, Mick and Tommy.
I honestly see a lot of energy, talent and showmanship "The Crue" aside.
Just sayin'. Something to think about. If you got another career and just want to have fun then God bless.

We get this quite a lot. The reality of it though is we all have are own careers and families and don't have time to put into our own project. Most of us have spent years doing original projects and had fun with it, but with relatively little success. I know I speak for the other guys as well, we're having a ton of fun doing the tribute thing and have had way more success than any of our past original projects. Besides most of us are older than you would think, with the exception of our singer who is in his mid 20s.

@@thecruetributehouston As long as you are having fun then it is all good. Yeah it is really fucked up because I caught the ads end of the hair metal thing. We were pretty good bit bands like Nirvana out of Seatle was taking over the LA scene. So adapt and overcome.
