I spent a lot of time in Asia mostly in Japan while in the military and fell in love with Medaka Rice Fish. I want to start breeding them. I want to make them available to the Americas. The UK has them, Australia has them and of course Asia has them. I know my American neighbors would fall in love with them as well. The prices are ridiculous in the states. What is your source? Are you willing to sell some of your stock? Please let me know.
Hey John! All of mine are still growing out since I got them very young. One of the strains I hatched from eggs. One line started carrying eggs but I guess none were fertile. I got two kinds from Aquabid I think from a guy in Hawaii “mobetta” I think. The eggs from Yangs Aquatics (Bushido), you can find them on Facebook. I think they’re very underrated currently because people don’t see the more colorful ones!
@skittlesco2001 it’s the nitto LA-45C. I hooked it up to a short piece of vinyl tubing to help any flex or movement then to I think 1.5” pvc that goes around my ceiling. From there I drilled in metal valves for my drop lines.
