Does this problem in any way effect your car performance wise? Because this video made me find out that I have this problem but also my car won’t accelerate as fast as it’s supposed to
My G35 wouldn't accelerate past 20 mph. Thanks to this video it helped me fix it and for the G35 it was the cause of the problem. Apparently, when the gas and brake are both pressed - or when the ECU thinks both pedals are being pressed, the ECU goes into safe mode and prevents acceleration past 20 mph.
thak you so much for making this video... you just solve my problem... being in South America is hard to find the rubber stoppers... genious idea and it worked!! thanks.. :)

Estezy idk if you can adjust the brake, I've only heard of adjusting the clutch. I think your brakes getting stuck is probably an issue on your caliper system not so much the pedal itself.

LOL Sure, but in manual cars I am pretty sure this wont allow you to start the car if you unhook the sensor. Not to mention your brake light wont work.
In the video, there are rubber contact pads that press on the switches. In many cases those pads fall off due to age and if it happens to the brake ones, your brake light stays on and drains your battery. If that happens to the clutch ones your car wont start and cruise control wont work.

top one is brake pedal sensor and brown is for turning off cruise control when you hit the brake
