    Good on you Mandy, the world would be a better place if more people had a ethos like yours! I try so hard to do something every day to help make this planet a better place, wether it be picking up rubbish, taking the time to ask people if they need a hand, being considerate to others or just being a good citizen! It doesn't take much to be a good world citizen, I wish others would follow your footsteps

      Great as in 'very talented' - I wouldn't presume to know what he's like day to day. I once worked for a famous man, and the number of his fans (and detractors) ran high. Half of them were normal people. The rest were rude, aggressive, and entitled. A few of them were dangerous. I'd be downright rude, too.

    I must say that I've heard a lot about him being a "difficult" guy to work with or being a "mean, terrible person," but I have worked with Mandy and he's sincere, incredible, kind, and deeply dedicated to his craft. He's a brilliant man and I'm proud to have worked with him.

      +andre ravasi As far as I know the term "Caucasian" (the white race) covers the people from Europe, North Africa and Southwest Asia and some parts of central Asia, so technically muslims are white.
      There are 5 races. Caucasican, Mongolian, Malayan, American (meaning the natives not white people) and Ethiopian (black). Muslism are neither native american, mongolian, malayan or black ergo they are white.

    I love stephen and his kind heart. other TV hosts fill their shows with hatred and bigotry to draw crowds yet Stephen choses to do the right thing. Well done stephen.

    • @KennyVee
      @KennyVee 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I 100% agree with you about Stephen Colbert and his kind heart. Could you fill me in on which TV show hosts fill their shows with hatred and bigotry (if it's anyone on Fox News, you can just Fax News and leave it at that and I'm on your side)? I mean...I don't watch Jimmy Fallon or James Corden much, but I haven't seen that on their shows. And honestly, I can't think of any other talk show hosts right now (other than long-retired ones such as Johnny Carson, Tom Snyder, David Letterman, etc).
      I promise that I'm not doubting your statement...I'm not trying to bait you into any sort of argument here. I'm sure there are some hosts that qualify, and that you can provide examples. I would just like to not watch shows where that happens. I work graveyard shifts, so I don't see a lot of late-night TV (other than the sports and news that we have on at work -- I work in a casino, so we have quite a few TVs available to keep people entertained), but I would like to make sure to avoid any show where hatred and bigotry are the norm.

    This video today really touched my heart. Mandy Patinkin is the voice of Conscience as Saul on Homeland, but here in reality he touches on a situation which should be on the Conscience of the whole world.... the lives of Innocents held at random by the powerful bereft of one.

    He feels so passionately about the issue that it kind of moves me, makes me get a little emotional. His attitude shows urgency. It's really lovely to see there's people who actually do have some common sense and decency

    • @theholodomorisnttaughtinam2796
      @theholodomorisnttaughtinam2796 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nahuel Martínez "Common sense and decency", more like "hypocrisy at the highest level". How many refugees do you think he's invited into your own home? Besides, Arabs and Muslims generally colonized half of Asia and Africa, Islam's entire basis is "convert or die", or do you actually think that people want to eat hallal, dress in 10th century robes, kneel on the flying carpet and pray 20 hours a day voluntarily? Plus, Patinkin works in Hollywood, his bank account is essentially a function of how much he's liked and watched, so of course he'll use any excuse in the book to support any minority, even if they massacre thousands of people (unless of course it's people of his background/ethnicity). Or are you just using those people as a political tool to shove your views down people's throats? It's not my responsibility to take care of them because you have a fetish of love for Muslims. Have them stay in your home, take care of them on your own, instead of forcing other people to so.

    His name is Inigo Montoya, you killed his father, but you will not kill him, his ideas, his virtues and his philosophy because they all stand for something greater than one man. He gave us a glimpse of humanity and how great human beings can be towards one another- we just need to get rid of the hateful rhetoric, we have to open our eyes and see each other beyond skin color and religion. I whole-heartedly agree with this man. I wish there were more people like him.
