First comment! 😮❤ Dr. Natalie, I just wanted to let you know how incredibly helpful and important you’ve been in my and my husband’s TTC journey. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us through this accessible channel. With so much misinformation online these days, it's reassuring to have a real board-certified specialist with years of experience helping couples conceive. Thank you! Baby dust to all the ladies and gentlemen watching this channel for knowledge and hope. ❤
Thank you so much for these videos, that help women to understand the body ! So needed and so important. We did lived for too long without having people explaining us what is going on in our bodies.
I know it’s a few months from this video but I have 3 beautiful children. All this time my cycle has been on point to the T. Since I’ve had my daughter almost 2 years, my cycle came back about 6 months ago and it’s so irregular and my husband and I want another child. It’s so hard with his hours for his work since he works at night…I’m 37 and he’s 42.
Thank you, Dr. Crawford, for this informative and helpful video! I really appreciate your insights on timing intercourse for conception. I have a question: You mentioned that saving up sperm by having less frequent intercourse is generally not beneficial for increasing the chances of conception. Could you elaborate on why this is the case and if there are any specific exceptions to this rule? Looking forward to your response!
Usually the recommendation is given to time intercourse every second day when there has been a diagnosed low sperm count, this will increase the sperm count by abstaining a day in between. If no ejaculation has happened for a while, this can cause the sperm to be less than optimal, meaning can lower motility (movement) and morphology (shape), so it really depends on circumstances, but if there is no male factor infertility then less frequent intercourse isn't necessary. Hope this helps
Can you please discuss your thoughts on the helpfulness of seeing a reproductive immunologist (after already seeing an RE?) Or, can you make a video on cervical factor infertility? Its much less common and so hard to find info on.
Sorry to hear that. August last year? In this video she says that if you have been trying for 6 months and are over 35 years, or 1 year and are under 35 years, then it's a good idea to see a fertility expert. Good luck. 🍀
On an ovulation kit, the stick will have 2 lines. The first line is the test line. The second line is the control line. When the first line is darker than the control line, the test is positive and ovulation should happen the next day. She does have an Ovulation Perdition Kit video, so I recommend that for more information.
Hi ladies 😊 I really need your help. I was supposed to start my period on June 26/2024 but I got spotting on June 24/2024 through June 29/2024. It wasn’t my regular period because my period are always heavy. Super dark red with clots. My spotting was on & off. When I would wipe I would see light pink blood. I was having fatigue, my mouth was so dry & I was super thirsty. Also I was moody & having mild pain on my lower middle abdomen & pulling pain on my lower left side. I have dark blue veins in my areola, & if it was my period I wouldn’t have those veins. Rite now I have lower back pain. I was nauseous & vomiting when I would brush my teeth. Which that never happens. I suppose to get my period July 21/2024 but what do you ladies think? About my symptoms. Please help me ❤
Dr Crawford, I’m having a problem I can’t Google an answer to. We have been ttc for 19 months , this is my 5th or 6th Clomid cycle (non consecutive over 10 months), I’m 32 and had used mirena twice for 8 years until it was removed 19 months ago . I live in Korea and I’m visiting the fertility clinic here recently but not getting answers about this… I noticed around 10 months ago my periods getting lighter, I was suspicious that I haven’t been ovulating without Clomid because I rarely get a strong LH surge with LH sticks. My periods have been lighter and browner . This month is was only clumps (no blood) and only brown. This is my third or fourth now with no blood . I tried speaking with my doctor but she just asked if it’s regular, which it is, 30/31 days . But it’s almost nothing now. I’m worried I’m losing fertility or there’s something wrong. We had 1 chemical in February but that’s our only partial success in 19 cycles.
Me and my wife have been trying for almost 6 yrs now but but no luck😞. We are always wondering why we cant conceive. Both of us have 1 child from our past. We both went to get tested and nurse said my wife eggs are very healthy and im on the boundery side
Video suggestion: insemination. This does not only affects LGBTQIA+, but also straight people for various reasons (some straight men are unable to ejaculate inside a woman, for example). The insemination syringes available on the market as of now (2024) are quite short. Do too short syringes matter? I'm guessing not, but it would be a good topic.
Really fantastic video! This will be exceptionally helpful as I will begin to start trying in a few months. The way my breasts are so tender, and how bloated I feel, I wouldn’t be surprise if I’m already am. 😌 Either that or a serious case of PMS right now. 😂Thank you again Dr. Crawford❤ I must come back and report when I am officially expecting.
With all respect to you Dr but you videos make me feel anxious about getting pregnant. remember years ago, women didn't have access to these medical information and yet had no trouble conceiving
Now a days infertility is increasing and many women are curious to know about their cycles and all the phases during ttc so this information really helps us dear
My dear Natalie ♥ you are the reason I have my daughter ❤ . She is 8 months now and you are guide 😊 for my second round

Can you do a video on how bladder and/or uterine prolapse affects getting pregnant, if at all? Dealing with that now. Been TTC for a year.
Doc, would you be concerned that 3 cycles this first half of the year have only lasted 24 hours? We have been trying to conceive since last fall.
You are so helpful to us Dr Natalie ❤
Happy to help!

My wife and I been trying since August and nothing yet. Seeing the BBT drop around CD 26 hurts:/

Thanks so much for this video. Great info. Can I ask, what do you mean by positive when you say positive when talking about LH testing kits. A peak?

Congrats on the book. 📖
Pleaseee tell me that can i take coq10 to concieve ?
I am 29 with regular cycle and trying to concieve since 6 months
😊
@@KiresnappaKirisnappa can I take it?
Can you have EWCM without actually ovulating?
Me and my wife have been trying for almost 6 yrs now but but no luck😞. We are always wondering why we cant conceive. Both of us have 1 child from our past. We both went to get tested and nurse said my wife eggs are very healthy and im on the boundery side
If your cycle differs by a day or 2 is that still regular? For instance 1 or 2 cycles will be 26 days then the next will be 28
Add both together and divide by 2, then minus 14, and you will get the Ovulation day.
28+26=54 divided by 2=28-14
Can I get pregnant after had chemical pregnancy ?
The audio is off in this one
why would you not pee on the ovulation stick first thing in the morning?
