Thank you so much for the tips, Dana! Even if it was a very "basic" build at the end, it still turned out stunning! I can't wait to start playing around with builds! Thank you for the spark of inspiration!
Aww I'm so happy you got some inspiration from the video, Nattalie 🥰 I'm glad you found the tips helpful. Have fun building and I hope you are having a fantastic week my friend! ❤️
I have NO words to express how talented you truly are. As another commenter said, "you truly are the queen of terraforming"! Absolutely stunning! Also, thank you so much for showing the mini build at the end to give us an idea of how we can do some of these on our own islands 🥰
Aww, that you so much for your sweet comment. That really means a lot to me. I'm so glad you found the video helpful and I hope you are having an amazing week. 🥰

Bestie! Great video as always! Loved your terraforming tips-it’s always so daunting beginning a new space and I know your tips will helps so many in our community feel confident in going for it! Have a wonderful week my friend. 😊💕
These are amazing tips and your island are really the best inspo when it comes to terraforming! I never really play with it that much on my islands but it was so rewarding when I really tried and use terraforming on my "no items island" because you can spend a lot of time when terraforming but it feels great when you see it all finished and actually looks good 😅 wish I had this video back then to make things easy, I will def use some of these tips in the future!!
Hi Poli!! You are so very sweet and thank you so much for watching the video. 💕 I'm so glad you like the tips, and hope they will be helpful to you in your future builds. I totally agree that although terraforming can take some time, it is really a great feeling when you create something you are really happy with. I hope you are having an amazing week my friend! 🥰
Yes this is the most helpful and complete video I've seen for no beginners in terraforming so far, I've waited so long this type of video so ty for the bottom of my heart. You have made a happy fellow Animal Crossing player. Have an excellent day ^^
So sorry for my delayed response. Thank you so much for watching the video and for your sweet comment. I'm so glad you found the tips helpful. 🥰 I hope you are having a fantastic week! 💕
Well, now you have a great fresh start of the island to create whatever you want. I know your island is going to look amazing! Have fun developing it out, and wishing you a wonderful week. 🥰
Thank you Dana! I've been waiting for this video and I really appreciate your posting it. I think it's going to take me a bit of practice to get the feel for overlooks and creating great views, but now I at least have a starting place. I think my second island is already coming along better landscaping wise than my first. You definitely got better and better with time, so I have hope. :) Thanks again for all your great videos. Have a great rest of your week!
Of course. Sorry it took a while to post. I hope the tips are helpful for you. I definitely found that the more I played around with terraforming, the easier it got. Have fun developing out your island. I know it is going to look amazing! 🥰 Wishing you a wonderful week my friend. ❤️
Oh my gosh!! 💕 Thank you soooo very much for the Super Thanks! 🥰 That was so incredibly kind of you. 💖 You are so very sweet and I truly appreciate you so much my friend. I hope you are having an amazing day and I wish you a wonderful week. ❤️
Awesome! Welcome to the community! This game is so fun. 🥰 Thanks for watching the video and I hope the tips are helpful for you. I also have a video on 20 ideas for how to decorate your beach and rocks if you are looking for inspo in that area. Have fun developing out your island and I hope you are having a fantastic week. 💕
you have to get your island up to three stars to unlock the terraforming feature. once you do that you can buy a waterscaping and landscaping permit from the nook stop to customize your island :)
I used one of the in-game paths to lead to every building and house on my island. However, I am unhappy with the placement. They are not symmetrical, nor are they how I want them. Any tips on how I can place my buildings and houses?
Hi. So sorry it took me awhile to respond to your comment. I would say the placement of your houses and paths really depends on what type of aesthetic you are looking for. If you are doing a city-type island, you may want your houses closer together (such as a neighborhood) and have straight pathing. Whereas if you have a more natural island, you may want your houses spread out with more curved pathing. I personally don't use the in-game pathing too much and more often opt to use custom pathing on my islands, or place custom pathing over the in-game pathing. I just personally feel that custom pathing is more versatile. I'm not sure if that helped any, but you are welcome to check out some of my island tours to see how the houses and buildings are laid out. I have an island that is half city and half country if you want to see a layout that has both a structured and natural look. Also, my first island tour has a tiny neighborhood if you want to see houses together in one space.
Beat the main story if the game and took a 5 month break. Now I’m coming back and completely clearing out my island for my first purposefully designed island.
Welcome back to playing Animal Crossing, and I hope you have fun building out your new island. 🥰 Also, thanks so much for watching my video. Wishing you a wonderful week.
I absolutely loved this video! So helpful even after I’ve been playing g since June 2020! I’m watching how you terraform an overlook but I’m having problems with how to get everything to be probably terraformed, like you are showing in this video. Are there any videos that I can watch to see exactly how to complete this terraforming on my island? Also, love your islands! They are AH-mazing! 😊
I will try to make a video in the future for more waterscaping tips. You need to have one space on the sides of your water. So, if you have a tree and you want to waterscape next to it, there needs to be one space between the tree and water. I hope that helps a little.
Hi! Im still pretty new to acnh and especially terraforming and making pretty islands lmao. When terraforming like the whole island, where do u keep ur villagers houses? Thats one of the things thats keeping me from completely renewing my island with terraforming cus idk where to keep their houses and i cant find anyone mentioning it anywhere 🥲
Hi. Thanks so much for watching this video and for your comment. I am so sorry it took me awhile to reply. So to answer your question, when I am terraforming my island, I place my villager homes on the beaches and then just move them into place around the island once I have a section developed out. I usually decorate my beaches last, so using them to store the houses is very helpful because they are out of the way of the main island. I hope that helps. Have fun developing out your island. Wishing you a wonderful week. 🥰
hi there! i’ve stumbled across sooo many island tours and when i came across yours i was absolutely stunned. i think your fairycore island has to be one of my top favorites hands down. ✨🤍 i’m so inspired to create something beautiful too! buuuut terraforming is soo hard lol 🥲 i’m struggling to figure out how to add vines to the edge of my cliffs with water around it. every time i go to round out the water near the bottom of the vines it won’t let me 😭
i feel like i just discovered terraforming jesus
Lol. Your comment really got me. 🤣🤣Thanks so much for watching the video. Wishing you a wonderful week. 💕

how do you get the item for customizing the island?
im asking abt the shovel

Can you have multiplen DAs for one island or only one? 🤔
You can only have one Dream Address per island, but if you restart your island and create a new one, you get a new DA for that new island.
I swear to god I will send you my switch in the mail just for you to terraform my island
Lol. Aww, thank you so much. I'm so glad you like my terraforming, and thanks for watching the video. 🥰
But I can't put water wherever I want. I can't get those waterfalls.
