Going through the comments, there are a lot of people who think this is fake. Even if it is, I think there is a good lesson for "if you see something, say something".

As a 49 year old, hearing along this story, I kept going back to the story my Mum told me and verified my older half siblings, where I was held hostage by my biological father and had to be kidnapped by one of my half brothers. I only know what I was told, I know the past can not hurt me and I don't live in the past, But with stories like this, it brings me back to seeing that day in my mind. 😢 I thank God for His glory and control in all situations.

This story doesn’t ring true to me. First off the little girl wouldn’t repeatedly use “Daniel’s’” name. The mother somehow jumped on a plane and was in the airport to meet her abducted daughter. The police would not wear a military uniform to disguise them selves and would have cuffed the “father” immediately detaining him. The “Father” wouldn’t put her in an aisle seat. 🤷🏽♂️

Actually Daniel, Amazing Daniel did what he felt in his heart and what he has been trained to do. Flight crews are an amazing mix of seen actions such as servers and caretakers, but the are also ( good ones) sociologists, adult babysitters, child playmates,teachers, social workers, soldiers if necessary and above all astute observers.
Believe me not all are cut out for the job. The occasional plastic narcissist slips through but most have keen reaction and a bit of a sensitive soul. It not an easy job.

We taught our kids to shout out this is not our parents if someone ever abducted them. Our first kid chose a busy mall to make his declaration while I was carrying him. Not a single person took notice or even glanced in our direction. This girl is blessed to have an alert attendant to investigate an unusual situation.

This is Judy from St. Louis Missouri and I am so happy if something ever happened to my child whenever they were little, I would hope that someone would recognize the way they are. Sometimes it's the courts that fail children when fathers are legally given access to children. Fathers use access to cause further distress to children. Imagine flying with your child without any normal communication with them. That's a red flag for sure. Thank God for people like Daniel who spot these hidden children who suffer the result.

Actually, it's very probable. In cases where a father is from another country I've known extremely similar accounts. The mother generally knows the child is missing immediately, contacts the local authorities who had to process through multiple layers of police. In the navigation the mother has flown in a nonstop flight to get to where the father is going. Many times, because cost isn't an issue for her in order to make sure her child isn't taken from her, especially in countries where women have little to no rights, while the father generally will take the less expensive flight or even flight hop in hopes of keeping authorities wondering. I also know a woman who fought for years to get her daughter back because the country she was in immediately sided euthanasia the "always superior"male. This is a story that's been told many times over, sometimes as hearsay & other times like a fable to teach a lesson, it still serves a purpose.

You hit the nail on the head, Roger. Elsewhere in the replies I surmised that the mom flew to JFK on the Millennial Falcon. Maybe she knew where they were going and took the next nonstop from SFO. Or maybe the girl and the police stayed in the terminal because she wanted to watch planes take off and land-or maybe to stare at all the people in the airport. Who knows for sure?
However, I did hear that when the girl turned 18, she and Daniel got married and are now living on their ostrich ranch in New Mexico…or maybe West Texas. It’s amazing how things work out.

My little children were taken by their father (my ex-husband) and his mother. Sydney Christina was just one year old. Lane was three and Dean four. Despite the fact I had been given legal custody in the divorce, I spent $300,000 dollars and many years trying to get my children back. In 1970 the stealing of a child by a parent (custody or not) was a civil matter and police would not get involved. It is a horrible situation and breaks the family forever in ways that simply cannot be healed. Tragic. My case was the first one to be tried under the Lindberg Act. I won in court, but it took 7 years and by then little lives were impacted in a devastating way. Emotionally, the experience is crippling for all concerned - except the father and his mother who never really had to take responsibility.

Having gone through a similar event, and having written educational films for a university school of nursing (being trained to identify potential child abusers), it's safe to say that the court probably granted the father visitation rights, perhaps even week long, or holiday, custody. The good news is that the court will consider what Emily prefers when she turns 12. The other side of the coin, is that the father (though this is not a true account, there are situations like this happening every day around the world) sounds as if he has a control and anger issue ... so this might not have the happy ending we all hope for such a family.

Emily had several clothing changes in the video. How authentic is this story? Her hair style changed several times in the video. What took 21 minutes could have been accomplished in maybe 10 minutes.

The girl in the video is probably not the girl in danger.
Visuals aren't meant to be showing the actual scene. They are meant to "suggest" the person being depicted and the way the situation may have looked.
In case you might want to change them, 4 times it said "Road 12" instead of "row 12" in the text portion (at 1:57, 3:27, 4:45, 7:02 ). At the 7 minute mark, it started calling it row 12 until the 10:17 mark where it was called Road 12 again. And at 11:14 it says, "LED her.." instead of "led her...".
And at the 12:46 mark the text says, "coward behind Daniel" and it should be, "cowered behind Daniel". At the 13:40 mark, the spoken text and written text is, "I have safe now." it should be, "silently, you are safe now" with a comma after "silently". At the 14:21and 18:48 marks, it's" LED" instead of "led" again. I used to be a professional editor, so I can't help it, it's a curse but I hope it will be helpful to have.

I have a question…if the father was taking her on a flight, taking her away from her mother……..after they landed and the father was apprehended. HOW did the mother get to that same location, when it took hours for the plane to get there? It doesn’t add up.

Probably more flights going from San Francisco to New York within a short time of each other. Her mother knew where Emily and her ex were going, so she booked a flight to the same airport, possibly arriving within minutes of Pacific Airlines Flight 739. Just a guess.

As a filmmaker I find fault with those aspects, too. But I also know that this kind of "audio-visual" project isn't attempting to duplicate the actions, persons, or locations, but to give the viewer an idea of what things looked like. A hint or suggestion is all that's ever implied in this kind of non-production.

Did anyone else notice in this “story” that Emily’s mother was meeting her at the terminal where the plane landed. If daddy was running away with Emily he would have flown to a destination away from where his wife lives . The father was supposed to have taken her away from his mother a few hours earlier so how come mommy was waiting at the airport three hours away. It’s just a made up story folks, there’s no Daniel, who incidentally wore three uniforms only one was for an airline.😊

Not conclusive. The police would routinely contact the mother in such a situation and perhaps facilitate her arrival.
Even so, lessons learned remain the same, the authorities could have flown her in to meet Emily while Emily's security team could have been instructed to keep Emily there at the terminal to wait for the mum to be reunited with her.

After posting my last comment I remembered an incident on a flight I was on several years ago, with a twist. I was alone on that coast to coast fight. Mid way across the continent I noticed a women with what seemed like a toddler, maybe 4 to 6 years old and an infant in a baby seat. The woman looked anxious. She made eye contact several times before I approached her and asked if she was O.K. She embarrassingly replied that she needed to use the facilities but was skeptical about asking the attendants. I offered to watch the kids and if there was anything I should know. She replied that the toddler would keep the baby occupied and just to sit beside them and keep an eye on them. A few minutes passed when she came back looking quite relieved and thanked me, glad to help I said.

Really a very very heart touching story and brave effort of the Flight Attendant in sensing girl's reluctance to stay with her father at any cost and final reunion of the girl with her mother ,which wouldn't have taken place without the timely & brave help of the Flight Attendant in sensing the situation minutely.
