Who still knits scarves in this modern world? It seems like a traditional craft that's becoming less common. Have you ever tried knitting or any other traditional craft?
I belong to groups, more than one, with many members who love knitting and crocheting, yes even scarves. And we love it.
I not only knit and crochet but have a never ending list to donate to domestic violence survivors, and for my friends who love handcrafted items. Plus blankets are always welcomed by animal rescue organisations......

Love the comments about hand crafted yarn 🧶 scarves mittens etc is an obsolete craft. Well it may be to those who negatively comment this way. But let me tell you as a retired school nurse , children who came to me having lost mittens and scarves were given homemade mittens and scarves on winter days and the parents were very grateful for them. Grow up and realise nothing hand crafted becomes obsolete😡‼️

I cricheted sweaters and a baby bunting for the child I was expecting. Due to physical and emotional abuse, I fled to a woman's shelter in my 7th month. When I came back to retrieve my belongings, the things I made for my baby were missing. I found out he gave them to his girlfriend for her grandchild.

When I was in hospital there was a young lady who had been in for almost a year, she was very badly injured after being thrown from her horse, her foot was caught in the stirrup and dragged along until the horse stumbled and fell on top of her, she had so many broken bones, the pelvis was broken and she was in a lot of pain, she kept in touch and was in hospital for about eighteen months.., that was in one of London’s top hospitals…
But these stories are all made up. Not an ounce of truth....
