I like the orange and that blade shape. This might be the first spyderco I would consider owning.
As much as I like and expect a knaf to come with smooth action, I'm never annoyed if they don't. As when they break in, and they WILL break in, it is glorious and well achieved, no work involved

I just learned this model exists and I think I’m gonna have to pick one up! Love that blade shape n that handle pops! I currently have the Southpaw PM2 in S45VN n definitely want one in a different flavor 🤓 my second Spyderco was a Spydiechef that I love and been eying that Yojumbo & waiting for the Military 2 to come out

New subscriber here... Thx for the great video! Just got mine yesterday, but I got the black blade. Just love that Halloween look. Mine was so stiff that I couldn't even open it the first time. I loosened the pivot because it was way too tight. Also super strong detent but by the end of the night I was able to flip it. Unfortunately upon inspection I found that the tip was slightly rolled over. As I ran my fingernail across the blade it stopped at the very tip. Being clumsy I usually blunt the tip by dropping it. I didn't want it to be that way right out of the box so I'm sending it back. Let me blunt my own tip!😁 Seriously though, it is a wicked looking knife and sticky sharp. l'm a sucker for wharncliffes. I hope Cutlery Shoppe and Spyderco will make a Para 3 with the Wharnie!

I just got one with DLC blade I love the shap. I decided it was best dule use edc/self defense knife. I had to do a scale swap though ha ha.
I think my perfect one will be the dlc version of this with cerberus ultem milled scales
S90V trumps everything except maxamet. CTS-Xhp is fantastic. Edge retention as parameters. Holy grails. The wharncliffe blade is unique for Spyderco. Great buy young man.
I think I'd put XHP and S90V in my top 3 favorite steels, I haven't had anything in maxamet yet, but it's on the list.

Actually the blackout DLC coated CTS-XHP Wharncliffe PM2 with Orange G-10 scales from Cutlery Shoppe is pretty much the most Perfect PM2 so far...

It's almost a must to do a detent mod on pm2s most of the time everyone I've ever gotten the detent ball is pressed in too much usually I'll take a punch punch it out and then because I have it out already I usually replace it with the ceramic ball and I'll let it protrude basically as far as it can and it makes it detent super snappy on them

finna snag the black one for Halloween this year.. maybe a Hap40 Police for TKSGiving and hopefully a red native Chief in 4v for Christmas. blessed to have some overtime opportunities at work 🙌God
What will you replace the hardware with? So you can use t8 instead of t6?

Why carry a PM3 over PM2? Outrageous!
Ergos suck when you actually use it, terrible blade geometry, too heavy, and you'll get lock stick eventually not to mention rust under the liners😆 few more hundred dollars worth of upgrades and you just "might" be happy enough with it. Sold all mine🤪👍
