I have visited gents clubs and gone to the best soapie in town and yes it was fun. Long story short if it floats,flies or fucks it is cheaper to rent. I cant believe how many idiots fall for the bullshit stories peddled by the bar girls.Pay for it and get your your rocks off.If you want a decent Thai woman as a wife you sure as hell wont find her working in a bar.
Congrats on your new home! Did you do your retirement visa by yourself or use a service? From what I know we have to deposit approx 23K in a Thai Bank. I'm getting ready to move there early Aug.

I have lived here 18 years, but in the North East, so I have heard many, but the new ones are eternally remarkable how so many men fall for the tricks! The trouble for me is I have too good a memory for what the girls tell me and I catch them out too often!

There's no saving people from making their mistakes, although it is noble of you to try to inform them. Got to keep one's wits about themselves, have fun and remember if a long distance relationship with a woman won't work in your own country it surely won't work halfway around the world. I’m the exact guy you described in your intro. Had my tripped booked, planned and delayed for the past 2 years. Been waiting patiently for everything to blow over and re-book which I’ve done. I have my flight & hotels all reserved and paid for. I have watched probably 💯’s of video and tips on Thailand and particularly Pattaya. I will be visiting very soon finally. Words of advice from a newbie 1. Do not take a girl from a bar close to your hotel, you will have to walk past her daily and its awkward. 2. Dont hand any money over until the deed is done. 3. I have found short time on Soi 6 is the best relationship.. but each to their own. 4. Terminal 21 food court is the best place for food. 5. Budget between 2000 and 5000 a day. Enjoy your trip buddy
You can give newbies all the advice you want for an idea of how it is but it’s not the same as being there and going thru the experience in real life. I met a newbie in April his 1st time and he did everything wrong even though he said he watched all the TH-cam videos on what not to do. He was so mesmerized by Pattaya and the ladies he would not listen to anyone 5555. He’s now paid to get his new lady out of the bar and is working on getting a visa for her to visit him. After 2 weeks of knowing her. Heed Daz’s advice as it can happen to anyone.
From day one, I knew your knowledge on this city is top shelf. First, the motorbikes. I posted a video of me being stopped on a rented motorcycle. Thanks to knowledgeable people, I knew I needed a helmet, international license/permit and my home license must be motorcycle endorsed. The Thai policeman was very nice. Treated me better than the ones in my own country sadly. He let me free after looking over my papers. But the gogo bar story 🤣🤣. Two trips ago a met a massage girl. Anyway, I return home and its as if they all study from the same book..." Miss you...good night...good morning. What you do...honey help me 5,000 baht, when you come back..." This is the kicker, and I don't believe in sending money to someone im not getting anything in return for, I told her hey im coming next week. You know what she said?? "Honey, can you send me photo of you ka?". I laughed and when I arrived told her I decided to spend my entire holiday in Koh Larn. To them Its a business you're the commodity. I like to see it the other way round 😎👍👍

Visit your local AAA branch and bring the completed application; your valid US driver's license; two passport-sized photos of yourself; and cash, a check, or a credit card with which to pay the $20 fee.

The police roadblocks during the daytime for drivers license and helmet.... and at nighttime for breathalyzer only.... are absolutely true. If you aren't prepared, this can ruin your entire day's plans.

The final story at the end of this video was an absolute classic Daz. In that case is there any point for 1 month visitors like me to even have Line. Deleting it from my phone seems the best option. No Line no connection.
Ticket price to Bangkok was 650euros before, now it is 1250-1400 euros. Add 1000 for accommodation then 1000-1500 for food and fun for 2 week vacation. With that total amount of money you have much better options in Europe for Europeans at least. Spain, Portugal, Greece and many others. There is little reason to go Thailand anymore especially with the doubled price happening now. Spend 12h on a flight for what? 200 baht for a bucket? Girls that charge as much or more that in eu? No thanks… I don’t think there will be that many tourists as you guys are expecting.
I will visit Pattaya some day and I appreciate your videos with the information you share about the city. Though I do have to say that I will never support a woman again, because I'm divorced and have been for 7yrs now and just seeing what the western women do to guys here I can imagine that women across the world do the same stuff. So I'd be alright visiting the bars and gent clubs there.
The story at the end is unusual but I am sure truthful. Most Thais have amazing memories and can even remember my name when I have unexpectedly bumped into them in the same bar or another place months later. It is their job and it is a business to them, so to newbies all these stories do seem crazy but they are all happening, even as I write this reply.

@@everythingPattaya I've seen tourist who have rented bikes and with helmets get fined, including thai people. At least in Phuket, the rental companies are in cahoots with the police such that they rent out bikes to tourist with/without valid licences and if caught at the police checkpoints, the bikes will be faulted for not being serviceable for use and when fined, part of the commission goes to the rental companies, not sure if that is done in Pattaya since most expats own bikes rather than rent them.
The girls very very very rarely "Go home", I had a girl back in the early 2000s whom had a Cathay Pacific pilot on her phone "Believing the dream"....talking to him whilst I'm in the room etc..
I‘ve often wondered what the reason is that the buildings themselves (for bars, businesses, etc.) are almost never for sale - are all the owners so satisfied with the money they make from the lease? Seems hard to believe…
Most buildings are owned in blocks and have been owned for generations by very wealthy Thai families, who don't actually need the rental, they own large areas of land and the properties on that land, sometimes whole streets. The families rarely sell any of the property as they know it just keeps going up in value.
I have plans to go for my first time this year! I am well versed with all the games from traveling and living in Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica! Sick mothers, sick kid, trying to finish school, send this, bring that, pay you back etc etc. I usually go and take my time trying different girls out that I find appealing and then what I like to do if I find one I really like is set a price for a number of specific days. Many of us in CR call this “wife’n Up”. However, I would NEVER suggest this for a newbie. This technique requires you to be able to get really involved and have a “mini relationship” and be able to drop it like a dead person on the spot and leave without emotion! This takes time, experience and technique. Some times, I go and don’t “Wife Up” and just hit and run. I've messed with bar girls in Pattaya, Korea, Philippines, U.S., and Panama and they're pretty much all the same. I definitely have a lot of great stories, some guys didn't survive very sad. I went from Korea to Panama and it was pretty crazy at the G.I. bars in downtown Panama City. We'd start Thur at Bacchus, Fri at Patatus, Sat at My Place, then Sunday at Balboa Yacht Club. Probably 20 stories from those bars/clubs alone. One story; when I first arrived I waited exactly 2 weeks on base before going to the clubs. Within a week I spotted an incredible looking girl, she didn't work in the bar she was with an older man though. I was so young/naive I thought it could be her father! maybe they were reuniting after so many years lol. Anyway, she had such a perfect body and she mostly wore a dress and it fit her perfectly. I would see her once or twice a month, always with a guy you couldn't tell they were romantically involved as there was no affection between them. My first year I had several girlfriends and then, at about my 1 year point I was with my co-worker at the Yacht Club. Sure enough, she walked by and my friend tapped her on the shoulder, she gave him a somewhat dirty look and walked away..a few minutes I was walking to the bathroom and she came up and grabbed me, asking what did your friend say about me? I said he says your a nice girl, which made her happy. Well, she and I went off to other bars around Panama City and had quite a time for about a week or so. Turns out she was a stripper at Le Palace, those older guys I saw her with were guys who bought her out of the strip club, since she was working the GI's too she made the old guy take her to the G.I. bars, think "attention whore". One night we went to a yearly carnival in a small town outside Panama City. She had so much energy, she showed me all the cows, pigs, horses, etc. She obviously grew up in that town, heck most of the girls who dated us G.I.'s were from that little town as the girls in Panama City proper wouldnt' have anything to do with us. So yes, that's one of my stories she was a stripper who played both older men and G.I.'s. A real opportunist in hindsight I don't blame her. I'll say she wasn't like a stripper in the states in the sense she was extremely hot in every way, at least an 8.5 on the Richter scale.

Just don't expect to have a relationship in the bar you will mostly be fine. There are plenty of Thai girls who don't work in the bar or do freelance.

What is it that you really needs to drive around Pattaya without getting Stopped and having to pay a Fine.
To drive a scooter legally you'll need to get an International Drivers Permit/License. To obtain an IDP from AAA, do the following: Complete the AAA IDP application. Visit your local AAA branch and bring the completed application; your valid US driver's license; two passport-sized photos of yourself; and cash, a check, or a credit card with which to pay the $20 fee.
@@erichaynes7502 Thanks so much for the info my friend, i went ahead and call my AAA office and Yes they will help and assist me in getting the International DP/Lic., it will only take about 15-20 minutes, they will take the photos needed their as well. $30 plus $12 for the photos...Thanks again for the reply.

I didn't want to commit/rent to a condo before I even get there. Did you buy a one way airplane ticket? Did you get any type of visa yet or are you going to go in as a tourist?

@@everythingPattaya Thanks, but how do you know which one does Soi Buakhao vs Second/Beach road when they both congregate together at the start of Second Road, or when you get on in Second road? They should just put a sign on the front of the truck, like a Bus does.

Can you recommend a taxi service in Pattaya to pick me up in Bangkok and to deliver me to Bangkok Airport for my travels?
Ticket price to Bangkok was 650euros before, now it is 1250-1400 euros. Add 1000 for accommodation then 1000-1500 for food and fun for 2 week vacation. With that total amount of money you have much better options in Europe for Europeans at least. Spain, Portugal, Greece and many others. There is little reason to go Thailand anymore especially with the doubled price happening now. Spend 12h on a flight for what? 200 baht for a bucket? Girls that charge as much or more that in eu? No thanks… I don’t think there will be that many tourists as you guys are expecting.

I will visit Pattaya some day and I appreciate your videos with the information you share about the city. Though I do have to say that I will never support a woman again, because I'm divorced and have been for 7yrs now and just seeing what the western women do to guys here I can imagine that women across the world do the same stuff. So I'd be alright visiting the bars and gent clubs there.
The story at the end is unusual but I am sure truthful. Most Thais have amazing memories and can even remember my name when I have unexpectedly bumped into them in the same bar or another place months later. It is their job and it is a business to them, so to newbies all these stories do seem crazy but they are all happening, even as I write this reply.

@@everythingPattaya I've seen tourist who have rented bikes and with helmets get fined, including thai people. At least in Phuket, the rental companies are in cahoots with the police such that they rent out bikes to tourist with/without valid licences and if caught at the police checkpoints, the bikes will be faulted for not being serviceable for use and when fined, part of the commission goes to the rental companies, not sure if that is done in Pattaya since most expats own bikes rather than rent them.

I‘ve often wondered what the reason is that the buildings themselves (for bars, businesses, etc.) are almost never for sale - are all the owners so satisfied with the money they make from the lease? Seems hard to believe…
Most buildings are owned in blocks and have been owned for generations by very wealthy Thai families, who don't actually need the rental, they own large areas of land and the properties on that land, sometimes whole streets. The families rarely sell any of the property as they know it just keeps going up in value.

I have plans to go for my first time this year! I am well versed with all the games from traveling and living in Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica! Sick mothers, sick kid, trying to finish school, send this, bring that, pay you back etc etc. I usually go and take my time trying different girls out that I find appealing and then what I like to do if I find one I really like is set a price for a number of specific days. Many of us in CR call this “wife’n Up”. However, I would NEVER suggest this for a newbie. This technique requires you to be able to get really involved and have a “mini relationship” and be able to drop it like a dead person on the spot and leave without emotion! This takes time, experience and technique. Some times, I go and don’t “Wife Up” and just hit and run. But I really do enjoy finding a young girl that I click with, feed her a raft of bullshit instead of the other way around, get them wrapped up into you (by playing dumb like Colombo) and then flying out on a day she doesn’t expect! While with them, I never treat them bad or with disrespect. Actually, we have a lot of fun. I actually like to lead them on thinking I have fallen in love with them. This allows them to open up more and give you more access than if they think your just a hit and run! It’s just switching the tables on them. However, again, I would NOT suggest this for a newbie. I have been “Hobbying” for many a year now! I sure do love the ladies!

Traffic stops 101, if there are no cops sat on their bikes you pull a u turn or maintain speed smile and wave and go right through without stopping.
I've messed with bar girls in Pattaya, Korea, Philippines, U.S., and Panama and they're pretty much all the same. I definitely have a lot of great stories, some guys didn't survive very sad. I went from Korea to Panama and it was pretty crazy at the G.I. bars in downtown Panama City. We'd start Thur at Bacchus, Fri at Patatus, Sat at My Place, then Sunday at Balboa Yacht Club. Probably 20 stories from those bars/clubs alone. One story; when I first arrived I waited exactly 2 weeks on base before going to the clubs. Within a week I spotted an incredible looking girl, she didn't work in the bar she was with an older man though. I was so young/naive I thought it could be her father! maybe they were reuniting after so many years lol. Anyway, she had such a perfect body and she mostly wore a dress and it fit her perfectly. I would see her once or twice a month, always with a guy you couldn't tell they were romantically involved as there was no affection between them. My first year I had several girlfriends and then, at about my 1 year point I was with my co-worker at the Yacht Club. Sure enough, she walked by and my friend tapped her on the shoulder, she gave him a somewhat dirty look and walked away..a few minutes I was walking to the bathroom and she came up and grabbed me, asking what did your friend say about me? I said he says your a nice girl, which made her happy. Well, she and I went off to other bars around Panama City and had quite a time for about a week or so. Turns out she was a stripper at Le Palace, those older guys I saw her with were guys who bought her out of the strip club, since she was working the GI's too she made the old guy take her to the G.I. bars, think "attention whore". One night we went to a yearly carnival in a small town outside Panama City. She had so much energy, she showed me all the cows, pigs, horses, etc. She obviously grew up in that town, heck most of the girls who dated us G.I.'s were from that little town as the girls in Panama City proper wouldnt' have anything to do with us. So yes, that's one of my stories she was a stripper who played both older men and G.I.'s. A real opportunist in hindsight I don't blame her. I'll say she wasn't like a stripper in the states in the sense she was extremely hot in every way, at least an 8.5 on the Richter scale.
