Yeah and it seems the broadsides of the Aquila were more realistic sounding and more powerful than the JackDaw

@@SexLuthor Connor actually screams orders over the waves and is commanding, I think Edward is too suave to pull of an intimidating captain sometimes, I just think Connors voice acting directions for these lines were better.
@@thedeusvultguy5346 aren’t you supposed to be confident when commanding and firing a ship? And Edwards yelling is so much better than Connors i cant even hear Connor when his saying fire
I too think that Connor yelling is better than Edward. I pretty sure that when firing the cannons he yells "let's fly"

The Jackdaw in Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag has the most toughest and powerful cannons.
The Aquila in Assassin's Creed 3 is the most longest ship maybe I think.. like Frigate? And the heaviest ship to control.
@Týr same for the jackdaw and the aquila is a frigate not a brig. And the jackdaw is a floating fortress. Cause of its cannon

jackdawn has better swivel gun, better cannons, better ramming, better crew and captain and is the fastest i think.

3's naval combat is more realistic than 4, since it has reload animations, and the cannons fire like they should. Other than the reasons I stated 4's naval combat always beats 3's. In my opinion

Assassins Creed 3 is the best because it has a horse and a ship.

There are certain missions that allow you to board the ship. But you can board it anytime you want

I loved all the assassins creed games I've played (3-6) but 3 is my favorite. I love how the cannons actually have a reload animation.
I think maybe ramming the ship you are trying to protect is not the best battle tactics.
No offence but it made me cringe how bad he was. Took me half that time to take down that man o war and shorter to kill that captain :/ this vid could of been half as long as it is.

For a man with mortal wounds, he sure does sound fine.
The only thing I didn't like about the navy battles in this game was how easily the Man O' War was taken down, both times. It is a 2nd Rate ship of the line. All 2nd rate ships of the lines had at least 500 - 600 people on board. The ship that we get to pilot would have more like 100 max. The decks would have been flooded with far more people on the man o war.
Bro unless you got a dozen of huge ass guns on your ship you'll be shooting at a 2nd rate for hours and will still probably not sink it
So is there anyway to keep sailing besides redoing old missions or is that all I can do?
I find it weird that only Boston and New York were the only cities too... I had no idea the game was even over during the last mission. Scoured around for ages looking to get to Quebec or any of the other territories. Am I missing something ?
No there is no way to keep sailing, to keep sailing you have to some naval side missions and you cannot get quebec cause this is ac3, you cant keep sailing.

Well the colour is not actually blue, it's transparant but blue because it's the reflection of the sky!
In my opinion id rather have the open world mechanic more than this but bf and rogue wouldve been so much better naval wise if this was the naval combat

This video makes me hope for great things to come in Black Flag. seeing as this is "just putting the foot in the water" for naval combat.
It is definitely better but the sound design in ac3 is crispier.

You get one through a mission, but you can spend a lot of money on upgrades
you cant board an enemy ship unless its part of a mission, right?

Yes however the upgrades are very expensive and end up pointless since naval missions are ver short and easy. The story line is short. In the end u cant free roam with it like black flag.

How do you get the uniform
I was disappointed in that fact.I mustave spent an hour just going around a ship I had completely destroyed the sails of trying to board it before i just blew them away.I was looking forward to starting my own fleet or the money Id get for selling the ships. Oh well,Im still loving this game.
Why in the name of Merlin can a Schooner shoot lots of cannonballs like that?!
Its called a grapeshot its good on schooners but on the aquila cause it only kills gunboats and schooners
