It has been my experience that no matter how loaded the bike is with camping gear, clothes, tools, etc., there is always room to strap on a six pack! Great episode!

Yo Jack, it's December 11, 2024 as I type -- just 10 days 'til winter solstice. I'm finally getting around to watching your Idaho BDR series (thanks to these short, cold, wet days) and have waited until now (Episode 4) to comment but holy smoke man, this series is over the top awesome. Every episode. Thank you, thank you, thank you for documenting your perilous and stunning journey but beyond this I've just gotta say that your filming & editing -- even the score -- are all super pro! This docu-drama series of yours is ready for prime time, my man! I may merely be a lowly dirt biker but your efforts make me wish I had an adventure bike in my stable, too. Yeah, your work is that good -- absolutely inspiring. Thanks SO much for creating such masterpieces! 👍

Thank you so much!! I'm stoked you like the series! That series took a lot of work and I was really proud of how it came out. Some other really good news for you- this past summer I filmed yet another adventure riding series that is perhaps actually longer than this one but has a lot of similar elements (storms, some slight mechanical issues, incredible scenery, mountains to climb, etc..) and I am nearly completed with the first 4 episodes. Im not releasing the series to the public until its totally completed, but I will have the first 4 episodes on pre-release for channel members like yourself. I'll let you know when its available to watch! I'm stoked I could inspire you to look into some adventure riding!

Watching this series. Being a local Idahoan. I remember the storms this during this time last year. The weather was unusually wet. You planned right mother nature has a mind of her own. I love Idaho. I recognize every stop. Would love to do this ride with my sons. You guys are truly blessed.

Great video man! In 2022 a group of 7 of us rode it from Canada south. Lost a rider to a bad crash just north of Riggins, never got to camp along the river on the sandy beach. Missed the wildfire closures by one day! Love the IDBDR!

Hahahaha! I carry an MP Shield plus 9mm. I really like it, its light weight, and super easy to carry.

I had a hunch it was An M&P by the Extra finger spot on the magazine. i currently have a M&P shield .40 and they make barrels for 9mm or .357 sig that retain the same spring! 9mm shield+ for in town and .357sig in my .40 for 4 legged creatures is probably gonna be my route. @@madjack_757 I do believe that you can only Downsize from .40 to 9mm or .357 sig. That’s just what i’ve heard , you cannot Upsize a 9mm model With a .40 barrel, i’d imagine the slide doesn’t fit the slightly thicker barrel, I am totally unsure of the 9mm to .357sig conversion tho.

Not your work, all positive thoughts, and even acknowledging that you made the trip with your Dad. That added another level of interest to the story.
