Maybe one day I should pay you guys a visit one day, if you will have me. I have done a lot of cave surveying before, have my own survey kit and competent in SRT having been caving in the Yorkshire Dales, UK for the past 15 years (very vertical, but a lot colder at 6 - 8C (42 - 46F)). Camping there looks a lot nicer (warm at least) compared to some places I have camped, though China was about the same temperature, so I slept well there :).
I've never been caving (just backpacking/hiking), however recently I was armchair exploring on Google maps and I found the Fort Stanton cave, and then Lechuguilla. I've been blown away by everything I've learned so far. It would be a dream come true to see either. Just finding an entrance for others to explore would be so satisfying! Thank you for sharing this! Hopefully one day I'll get to do some caving. You all rock!
