- In this video we will breaking the improved tools item in endless mode and reach wave 110 in Brotato D5.
Perhaps you can use this build to break the world record?
We will start with a Farmer/Crown build that focuses on stacking insane attack speed to have our gardens absolutely spray out fruits at an absurd clip.

Hey Folks, hope you enjoyed one of the crazier runs I've ever done. Took me about 40 attempts to get it right (spoilers below). In addition, I know a passed a lot of pruners so I will explain why below.

Ultimately, I intended this purely as a gardening showcase. As the run got stronger and stronger, I decided to take it into deep endagme. After reviewing, the big things holding it back were a super late anvil (about wave 50 or so) which ended up being 100+ armor. In addition, I made the Potato Thrower switch waaay late (late 40's) and had to spend a ton of money which messed up the padding scaling. I do think an earlier swap + anvil would have helped this one get to 150+ easy. Cheers!
On pruners:
Since these are unmodded runs I have to re-roll quite aggressively if I am trying to showcase an item. Since the difference in pruner rarity power is somewhat minor (12 sec fruit spawn at epic vs 10 sec at legendary, or 1 extra fruit per 60 second round) I deemed them good enough and re-rolled suupppper aggressively to be sure we received an improved tools. (As we didn't until the very end of normal). Had we gotten the Improved Tools earlier I would have upgraded the pruners much sooner.
For this run, I wanted a crown before wave 11 and an improved tools in Normal (yes, takes a lot of luck!). Since this was off to such a strong start with a wave 10 crown and a hunting trophy I reallllly did not want it to die on the vine by not finding the tools until like wave 25. In non recorded runs, definitely upgrade them sooner. Hope this explanation helps

Realy cool run! I actualy had this same idea for an endless run but just never had the patience to do it, so its prety awesome to see it in action and to see that it actualy works. Keep up the good work.

Based on past patch frequency, we're likely due for a new patch soon and I expect the hunting trophy/padding/alien eyes/potato thrower quadfecta to be nerfed or significantly altered. Given that it's 99% luck based this point, I'll likely wait until the game is closer to release to attempt a word-record esque endless push - as I expect it to be altered significantly in the patches ahead.

If/when you run through the standard game content, gmo combos is a fun way to progress as a direct abstraction progression (know the style/goals of normal bases first, then how to constructively add them) without needing to alter too much of the game.

I don't understand how you can go to wave 110. I watched this same video for a few minutes, paused it, went for a farmer run, and a 683 harvesting at wave 6 crown and got to 6000 harvesting by wave 17. My run ended with my improved tools improving the garden fruit gen speed by 400%. But the run ended at wave 45 with a harvesting of roughly 1200. I keep encountering either a bug or a feature where the harvesting reached 5-6K and starts dropping faster than I can bring it back up.
Hey, endless mode imposes a penalty where your harvesting is reduced by 10% every single wave - in addition your characters 5% (or 8% in farmers case) effect stops as does the crown bonus. You can normally stabilize around 2K-4K depending on your gardens tools/setup.
