That's a super fun one - I would say for multitasker you should definitely be allowed to mix in wrenches as well, since that's just an awesome build (and the one I used in my guide more or less)
That's a super interesting idea - I usually ignore chameleon because I rarely stand still, so it's just a very expensive 3% dodge, but for cryptid specifically using it to build attack speed is cool!
Riposte steals kills from his weapons. Also riposte is honestly a really bad item; I’ve tested it in a loud run with 60% dodge and melee damage (basically the perfect scenario for it), and it deals abysmal damage, especially compared to alternatives like cyberball, rip and tear, and even baby with a beard in this melee run. Heck, even baby elephant was comparing to it. It looks like a pretty good item, but slamming enemies with 400 damage is just wasted
Yeah, as ninjawacky mentioned, when you're playing ethereal weapons you want to avoid anything that can steal kills from them to make sure you're maximizing the stats gained
(IMO as it is not that great considering I havnt even gotten all 5s on all my chars) I feel you over optimize on some of the aspect. For instance: the range, it is so low even if you got back up to 0 you would rarely accidentally hit trees. I would argue getting to 0 would allow you to kill more minions and harvest the bonuses of the ghost set better. AS far as not getting Riposte is less of an issue but the amount of kills it will steal vs survivability of thinning out the wave is worth it for survivability since crypted isnt that great at clearing.
It's less that I was worried about accidentally hitting trees than that I just don't think the range would really have helped with clearing, and would have been very expensive to improve. Between cryptid -range and the efficiency of -range items it's hard to boost range at all, and since enemies run towards you, you don't really lose clearing power for negative range. Lower range also does improve ghost flints' attack speed alot because of their swing pattern, so it can actually increase your dps to lower range. I don't think it would have been *bad* to boost range, but I don't think it was important to either Thanks very much! :D
Maybe with enough luck! You lose quite a few materials if you break trees, but with high enough luck the item chance could be worth it. I haven't really done the math :D
These are great - I ended up with Multitasker + Screwdrivers yesterday which was fun, couldn’t manage to get past the midgame though.

That wave 8 had a fair bit of youtuber luck, love the videos
Hey man I've watched most of your brotato content and I really enjoy it I hope you don't stop👌👌
Hey thanks! Glad you're liking it, no intention of stopping any time soon!
I'll try this random-random "mode", looks so fun and challenging
It's honestly way more fun than I was expecting, really makes you approach the game in a new way!
Well done! I think the Mammoth really helped out, although you were almost there already. Keep these going.
Thanks! It's true, that was a really good find!

Someone call the FBI, or a zoo or something.
Curious as to why you skipped on the Chameleon. It's always a take for me on the cryptid because I use it to farm attack speed early in the wave.
Just realised you were already almost capped on dodge so it didn't make sense to take!

This was a fun one!
Thanks! Yeah, this one was a blast to play
Keep going. Vids are great.
Thanks so much! Definitely planning on it :)
I'm curious why you wouldn't take riposte on this build? did you just roll over it or is there something I'm missing (very likely)

Makes perfect sense!, thank you
🔥🔥🔥
I'm not sure I even tried danger 5 with the cryptid 🤔
Cryptid is one of the better danger 5 classes I think, the free regen is extremely powerful!

as always though Loved it!

Isnt there a point where its better to kill the trees at the end of a round?

I just best sll characters on d5 snd my first randome random was saver laser gun i didnt beat it died to 12 horde sadly
That sounds like a really hard one! Lasers are so expensive already, the shop price nerf would be really painful
@Cephalopocalypse it was and I couldn't find alot of pierce and no point is stacking money cause it was all already over kill
Im still trash but slowly learning (next)
