Can i feature 100 trains in one trainspotting session at Macdonaldtown?

Congrats on 2200 regular train vlogs, Phil! You know, a lot of the train vloggers back in the days within the mid-2010s that were inspired your channel such as Cameron Johnson of Transport for NSW Vlogs have nowadays lost a lot of if not all their passion due to a lot of other commitments in their lives.
But you just kept going and continued these train vlogs even after you started 10 years ago. Even I don't lose my passion completely on these train travels especially during the nighttimes, even though it's less passionate these days due to seven years of this stupid, impractical and slow Sydney Trains timetable that I hate so much.

Usually i won’t do anything special for every 100th Vlog bit this time was an exception
Should have come down to Melbourne today, The Melbourne Metro Tunnel are running a teating bunaza, running trains every 5 mins through the tunnel.

Hi Phil! Hope the floods in Sydney weren’t too bad for you and your safe, good to see more frequent videos being uploaded! I love the Waratah A and B sets I wish we could get more of them on the t4 line near Cronulla

It was a rough storm but all was ok at my place.
I think a few Waratahs were running on the T4 after the big storm.
@@sydneytrainsvlogs are Sydney trains planning on replacing the T sets with Waratahs for the waterfall and Cronulla lines or do they just run to Hurstville occasionally?
The floods made the ENTIRE network down Trains were running shuttle service they arive as different platform way to confusing trains at the T2 were 5HRS LATE T1 trains were diverted on T3 line so Basicaly Lindfield via Bankstown and Penrith Via Bankstown but that service was cancelled due to floods
@@OuterVerse2 nope Warahtahs use alot of electricity but Tangaras use less electricity
The sound that the Millennium Trains doors make when they are closing never gets old to me I actually can never get enough of that sound
This is a great idea for a train spotting video. I accept the challenge and I’m going to see if I can get 100 trains in a shorter video.

No V Sets on the Richmond Line.
They run the Blue Montains line all the time :)
V Sets run on the Blue Mountains line and on weekdays only, the Central Coast & Newcastle line.

I would love to try this but I don't get to go to Sydney very often and if I did this on the Central Coast I would be there for ages. Great video though!

I hope you film at Town Hall, it's probably been a decade since you've made a video at the most popular station in Sydney. Besides, I think it's not TOO full in the early morning when you film Central Walk videos.

@@sydneytrainsvlogs no one wants to film there cuz it’s always so busy lol, but at the start of every platform it’s actually not too full (away from stairwells at the narrow ends). In the morning there is no reason to go there for the public - people are getting off the trains for work, not on them!

Great video Phil, and also I don’t know if you know this but from Saturday to Yesterday, there was trackwork between Strathfield and Lidcombe, for that, T1 trains ran via the Bankstown Line.

Yeah 2050’s will be about the 30-40 year mark for the Waratahs so that sounds right.
@@sydneytrainsvlogs think it was something like the 2040s for the M set and Oscars I will miss the Tangara’s when they go it’s something about there motor sounds tho the sounds of the departing m set is good

well if you were going to choose one station for this challenge it would be one of our favs macdonaldtown. nothing quite like it.
