Sydney Trains Vlogs good work with the movie and keep the great work with your vlogging, I really enjoy watching learning about the sydney/NSW rural area train system, you actually got me into watching the trains on the cityrail sydney and Rural NSW train network. I can't waint for Sydney Train Vlogs the Movie 3 and you should make 90 minutes of train action.
Thank You For Putting The Time And Effort Into This You Really Are A Great Vlog And A Great CommitmentLets Hope There's Another Infinity More From Your Friend And Fellow Subscriber James The Trainer
Excellent job on another movie :), hope a third one comes out soon maybe this time fit light rail, buses and less waratahs please, too many in this one
Hi Phil, I would like to say congratulations on 2000 Subscribers. I liked the first STV Movie. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS on reaching 2000 Subscribers and best wishes. Paul
NSWTrains Vlogs Indeed. They used to be common on the lines in Sector 2, but now they’ve been reallocated to Sector 1 to cover for the S sets getting withdrawn from that area. Sector 2 mostly used the Mortdale-based T sets back then.
Thanks again, I really enjoyed this all over the place. Glad to see some containers on trains I am still looking for transfers on and off trains of containers. Have seen them loaded onto trucks at wharves (from standing on the wharves)but I want to see them coming off ships and being loaded onto trains or from wharves to trains. A couple of S's with new windows and some closed completely? Was it a cool day or did some S's get aircon? I am guessing the former rather than the latter. Thanks heaps!
Thanks for uploading Phill. I have a few questions, 1. Are S sets and K sets compatible with each other ? I believe I read that their electrical system is different due to the catanery locations. (S Set is on the driving cars. K Sets are on the trailers) Can you perhaps shed some light. ? And also do Xplorers run 2 buffett cars ?
No problem mate :) 1. Yes they are, ive seen a number of S/K Combo's. Im guessing the location of the Pantograph's don't matter. As for C Sets, i don't think they care compatible with either S or K Sets. 2. Im pretty sure XPL's run with only 1 buffet car much like the XPT's
+Sydney Trains Vlogs S and K set can go together but the copper controls on the C set isn't compactable with each other, S sets and K sets are camshaft.
There was a time when C sets ran together with K sets. It is possible, although the drivers didn't like it, because it made an uncomfortable jolt when the train was accelerating from a stop.
The Indian Pacific is a train that runs from Perth to Sydney. Its called the Indian Pacific because it runs between the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean (Perth to Sydney). Thank you :)

Great movie! This might even lead to STV The Movie 3! Which could even have face reveals and talking to other Vloggers like a proper movie depending on the promotion! lol By the way, can you please make a playlist of the following: All Central Station Vlogs in Vlog number order All Redfern Station Vlogs in Vlog number order All SWRL Vlogs in Vlog number order All NWRL Vlogs in Vlog number order I've requested this a long time ago, but you didn't seem to reply to them... Have you taken this request yet, Sydney Trains Vlogs?
J Double-L You do realise that you can create playlists yourself using his videos? Phil is a very busy guy, I doubt he has the time to make playlists for anyone who requests them.
+Sandshark23 I know that. But the reason why I suggested Phil to do it is because if I do it, I will have to go through tons of his videos to find them and I may not know where the first one is and where the others are. Cause if I was to do it, I wanted them to be in the order of the Vlog No.
+J Double-L Aww, poor you. There's a search feature on his channel. Just type in the videos you want to add, sort them in the way you want and you're done.
Robert Harband That instance was likely covering for another train on Sector 2, most likely a Waratah. T sets usually don’t run in that area otherwise, though they used to be common before they were mostly moved to Sector 1, which is the T4 line.
+Glen Foley G7 was scrapped soon after the Waterfall train disaster. G11 became T111 but it never left Mortdale Maintenance Centre as T111.. It was renumbered again and entered service at T107 :)
Glen’s Transport Vlogs T107 was actually G11. The original G7 was written off after her tragic incident at Waterfall in 2003. G11 then became T111 but she never left the maintenance centre at Mortdale under that number before she was renumbered as T107.
Tigermacine16 Gaming It’s a tough debate. Waratahs are nice, but the fact they’re so common on any non-T4 line makes them get boring fast. The Tangaras on the other hand, still hold up well for a 30-year-old veteran, thanks to recent refurbishments and upgrades, with a forthcoming tech upgrade certain to give the Waratahs a run for their money.
Dylan Bennett At least they aren’t as boring as the Waratahs! On any major line not numbered T4, Waratahs just show up everywhere and take up a notable chuck of the timetabled sets, costing the variety. The Tangara at least proved that progressively modifying and refurbishing a veteran fleet can still make it a good runner.
21:40 it is quite rare for you to say Campbelltown via Airport when you see a tangara
I streamed this to my Ps4 on my TV, got some popcorn and a coke and sat down to watch it without an interruption!
+Tom Keane thats the way lol
This is an excellent movie.............i grew up in Maitland and its good to see the clips from there again

Hey guys.
For those who are watching the movie with poor quality, give it an hour.
The movie will get up to 1080p HD
Its gone up to 460p..... And rising
Sydney Trains Vlogs I always watch in 360p anyway as watching it in HD makes streaming go slow.
***** - ah ok :)
Sydney Trains Vlogs - 760p HD....
It will be on 1080p HD in about 20 minutes
+Sydney Trains Vlogs i started watching it at360p but now its HD its alright
That Tangara heading to Campbelltown used to be at Sector 2
Correct :)
NSWTrains Vlogs Indeed. They used to be common on the lines in Sector 2, but now they’ve been reallocated to Sector 1 to cover for the S sets getting withdrawn from that area. Sector 2 mostly used the Mortdale-based T sets back then.
The Indian Pacific is getting harder to spot especially now that they have cut services down to once a week
Very true. Its only on a Wednesday now (in Sydney).
+Sydney Trains Vlogs Such a shame man i loved spotting that
phil you are a train vlog god!
Yaaay :D

+Sydney Trains Vlogs No worries. I like the sound of the music, that should be good.

Thanks for uploading Phill. I have a few questions, 1. Are S sets and K sets compatible with each other ? I believe I read that their electrical system is different due to the catanery locations. (S Set is on the driving cars. K Sets are on the trailers) Can you perhaps shed some light. ?

+Sydney Trains Vlogs S and K set can go together but the copper controls on the C set isn't compactable with each other, S sets and K sets are camshaft.
It is required that two K set cars, one trailer, one motor, be next to each other, as the motor requires the power from the trailer car's pantograph.
There was a time when C sets ran together with K sets. It is possible, although the drivers didn't like it, because it made an uncomfortable jolt when the train was accelerating from a stop.

I don't like the Waratah doors, they are too square
I thought that T sets run on sector 1 and sector 3
They do, although if due to broken down trains or other interruptions, they can run Sector 2 as well. All drivers are qualified for T sets.
Robert Harband That instance was likely covering for another train on Sector 2, most likely a Waratah. T sets usually don’t run in that area otherwise, though they used to be common before they were mostly moved to Sector 1, which is the T4 line.
Can you tell me how to like Phil's videos 90 time's?
what did T107 consist of
Glen’s Transport Vlogs T107 (formerly G11) has the consist D6803 - N5802 - N5852 - D6804
So which vlog number is this?
This movie doesn't have a Vlog number.
+Sydney Trains Vlogs 1124
Is a vlog at Canberra a possible?
Ill go to Canberra one day :)
No worries
Sydney Trains Vlogs Canberra may not be your cup of Tea....
Hot chocolates a better idea
is there 2 D6815's
There will most likely never be two cars with the same car number
Glen’s Transport Vlogs That is not possible. No two cars can share the same number or it would cause massive confusion.
South Sudan Powers
was G7 T107 or am i a idiot about T107
+Glen Foley G7 was scrapped soon after the Waterfall train disaster.

21:38 Rare sight Tangara!
What train is better waratah or tangara
+jesse arndell Warratah. They're far newer.
Tangara cause they're older

Sydney Trains & NSW TrainLink - give it about an hour the movie will get up to 1080p HD
