I've got a Kenwood TM-281a which does about 65 watts but it really does more than 75 watts as it had been worked on. It's 2 meter only but I really like the radio. Makes a great backup to my Yaesu 991A. Cheers & 73 from K9POW in eastern TN
Single band radios have their place, especially if you only really talk on that single band, my Yaesu FT-2980R is a pretty decent rig, I just wish it was capable of SSB as my area does have a bit of SSB traffic on 2m.

I have a TM-281a as well. It replaced my Icom IC-V8000. Kenwood makes some great radios and is definitely one of my preferred radios brands.
