Also, regarding Resna's power, I really like her straw hat passive but I don't know how strong she is in practice. Her kit is very disjointed, with 4 different buff/debuff options that all scale from different things (or not at all). Like, if you use the bolt resist trait on her, her burst won't benefit from it? It's very strange. I wish her skills were more consistent with each other so gearing her made sense. That's the big thing that might make her feel bad to use. The hats are great though. Also, the datamine issues I mentioned were fixed, so it looks like we won't have to worry about that after all. And yeah, about the focus feature, you can't do pulls without it. The game forces you to select a focus. I have a feeling this'll get change in future banners but we'll see?

From what I saw from the JP livestream, penetration has something to do with ignoring or lower the effect of enemy's defense buff and status (on their side). Im not sure if it goes with debuffs on our allies tho. Summer Ryza seems to be a character that will unlock new mechanics. The stat with penetration effect is insanely high as well, so I guess she's gonna be OP in future contents with the next wave of supporters/breakers. Ryza being best girl as always. Edit: I saw Ryza's weapon in the shop later. The probabilities that allies's debuff will enhance penetration effect as well is now 90%. No way it has nothing to do with it if it's a lv V substat of her weapon.

Wish I could test it out myself but uh yea pulls went not quite fantastically I think if they introduced enemies where penetration feels mandatory, it's a bad sign for the game. Should always be wary if game balance starts forcing you to update to the newest characters arbitrarily. So I doubt it'll be meta warping in that sense.
I agree. Devs better stick with an exclusive calculation based on existing stats (buff/debuff), otherwise new characters will break the game or overcreep the current roster. Removing the random red/blue lines order was already not a good move, and now we have Resna's hats 🤨.

I've noticed that when Valeria holds Resna in like a romantic dip pose, it's a higher indicator of getting SSRs I can't say for sure it's the best way, but it's what I've noticed!

Somewhat unrelated question: I have about 171 pity built up by now, and I was very much eyeing a healer because the only one I have that is not a 2* is Ayesha lol. I was wondering: with the context that I'm not going for Flokke (I have her on GLB and I like my JP and GLB account to have separate fun units, plus not having a lot of crit characters on my JP account makes me hesitant to go for her), do you think I could go for Wilbell as a healer from the previous banner? I think her guaranteed crit on heal would benefit a lot of my teams that kinda struggle with that, but I'm wondering how does her healing stack up? Is she worth it or should I wait for Klaudia/Valeria (praying Klaudia is a healer)? Granted anything by this point will probably be an upgrade from Ayesha but still lol.
Watching your pulls reminds me why I still dont like the fact that they removed daily pulls. There was a time I went full pity for a character without a single new stuff, only to get the limited banner on the daily pull later. There's a fat chance you get screwed with a unit you dont like, but its still better to have the chance regularly ig. I still hope they bring it back.
Why do the shop memoria have to be so damn expensive, I was looking forward to them being in the shop, but not for that price. Also sorry about your pulls and i guess if Ice Ryza does get pulled we can always don defender gear on her, cause i'm also annoyed there's still no damn ice defender and no aoe stab breaker.
@@Kusanagix I was also expecting around 100, 50 for an SR and 10 for an R. Having them more expensive than a character seems really stupid and kinda skeevy, hope they change it. I'm probably gonna do the memoria selector if i have the funds though, I'm missing so many limited SSR's it's ridiculous--Sophie's memoria? Nope. Klaudia/Val banner, nope. All-target stun up? Nope. ...the list goes on, at least I got stun up temp III...

You can't go wrong with Masterpiece in general, I think it's a good choice. If you care about Roman tournament ranking, I don't know what the optimal use-case is for min maxing damage there, so I don't have any advice about that.
