Flat sRGB accurate panels with anti glare are touted for people that do color work. It is nice that these monitors also are great for media comsumption and games, even though they are not curved or have high refresh rates. I personally favor a good ultrawide IPS full HD panel over 4k or high refresh rate TAs.
The sweet spot of ultrawide monitors in my opinion. The resolution, image quality and framerate are all just "good enough", and you can also power it well with a 5600XT/2060. Besides, it should also do "good enough" in movies and productive tasks such as programming. I've seen an older iteration (29UM68-P) in real-life and it looked alright.
Great video. I think the size might be the sweet spot. Currently using two 24" monitors and it's clear that you can't physically reach the right and left extremes with comfort. Also, this would take up less space in my not-too-big desk. I mostly use it for programming so it sounds like a great solution (32" seems excessive).

People just need to understand that in layman's terms, to choose ultrawide means to give away vertical in exchange for extra horizontal. Image on 21:9 will always be smaller than on standard 16:9, because their lack of 'height'. You would need at least almost 40" ultrawide to get a big enough image to compete with say 32" 16:9 monitor. And good luck with that, can't imagine how expensive that would be. 😏😆

I dont know why i got recommended this video. But i have this monitor. I like it, the HDR is pretty bad. But overall is really good. I also like to use this monitor for csgo, i play it at 16:9 but stretched to 21:9. If you want you can play 4:3 stretched to 21:9, making everything really wide and "easy" to aim, but i dont like it.
