Have it. The pixel issue being visible on text fonts is bearable. Not sure why that's one of the most complained about issues. Gaming is beautiful and immersive. Had some flickering issues but after researching I disabled Adaptive-Sync in the monitor and it's been fine since with my 3090.

    1) This is not the world's first 240 Hz OLED screen.
    2) It has a button to be controlled without the remote.
    3) The monitor's heatsink contains a very loud fan which will instantly become the loudest part of any silent build. The sound isn't a Noctua sound either, it's high pitched whirring.

I’ve had this monitor since it came out and absolutely love it . For games and media consumption it’s awesome . But the low PPI makes using it for work like word processing, spreadsheets and coding not as awesome, is usable for light work and I have had no issues with web browsing . I have a second monitor for work like that so for my use it’s great. I have had zero burn In issues yet but I am hyper aware of it so try to be mindful to move static stuff around every week or so. I would say if you’re really interested in it you can always buy it from Best Buy and play your games on it. If your 3060 can’t handle it you will alway have the option for easy return/exchange for a different one . I was on the fence too until I got it and used it . I had both my old and new hooked up and played a few hours on each to get a real feel for how much better or worse they were to each other. It was amazing how great it was for gaming and movies/ TH-cam . My old monitor has a great picture too but the OLED was so much better. I would suggest the warranty from BB just to have price of mind on burn in, you can actually use it , enjoy it and not have to worry as much

I have both a 45in Corsair Xenon Flex OLED and a 48in 4K OLED LG C1 and honestly they're both pretty excellent obviously the 48-in 4K is crisper But the 45-in 1440p ultra wide doesn't look that bad especially in games The only thing that looks terrible is text so all your desktop icons and text online look pretty terrible.
Text in game though is not bad generally because they use such chunky lettering in games but if they used really really small letters I'm sure that too would look bad too. But when you're just playing the game both options provide some super immersive gameplay.

Funny it was just the opposite for me. Ive been using the 42" C2 as my monitor for the last year, I picked up this 45" ultrawide a few weeks ago, and ended up returning it to go back to my 42" C2. I'd agree that the ultrawide was better than the C2 for purely gaming, but when it comes to anything else that isnt gaming, I think the C2 is better. The low PPI, while not an issue during gaming, was quite noticeable in all other aspects of use. Some people notice it more than others but the blurry text in windows and being able to actually see the the pixels in some instances was the deal breaker for me.

it has a matte screen doesn't it? quite a waste of an OLED if i'm being honest here, this OLED is already DIMM enough on SDR content (200 cd/m²) and a matte coating doesn't make it any good for use on daytime unless your room has curtains, plus it makes things look hazy, LG could have taken notes from alienware.

New update just dropped for the OSC. I installed it and restarted my pc. I hooked the USB cable up from pc to monitor and went into settings. I clicked "Run" and it says current version is latest software. I proceeded to click "File Open," and went to the file where i had put both the compressed file that downloaded from LG's website and the extracted files. However the only file showing up when i click "File Open," it only shows the compressed file. Very confused and frustrated.

Such cringe when he takes the panel out of the packaging and sets it down on the desk like it's flat. They usually come in a curved foam piece that you set on the desk, tear the bag to expose the stand mount, put the mount on, set monitor on desk and remove bag.

Great monitor, I don't like it curved because I am poor and will possibly have one monitor to work, game, view tv and so on, so plugged to several devices not all allowing me to be in front, BUT I like this concept and size for an immersive game experience.

Why do 21:9 monitors always have this low resolution. There are tons of 4k 32 inch monitors, but as soon as you want a 21:9 ratio it is still impossible to get a single monitor that provides a comparable pixel density, at least if you want something with more than 75 hz. Always this sh.... 3440x1440, no matter how giant the monitor is....since years it is always the same resolution

I would not buy a WOLED (what LG uses in their gaming monitors) display at this time as the new second generation of 'QD-OLED' will come out in January-February 2024.
QD-OLED is the way to go even if they would have a slightly shorter lifespan over WOLED. The difference in that is so little that it wouldn't really matter. And for the love of god avoid matte displays. They make the contrast, brightness and clarity worser over the glossy displays.
