Uncle Tammy - He waited for about 3 years in total I’d say. It took a helpful fella putting a bit of pressure on the requisitions officer to get them to send it. Funny thing is that it only cost about 15 credits.....
JMM Productions 3 million units. Not troops. I think units have many clones in each. Remember the clones marching in AOTC being led by the one commander in yellow? That was a unit. They’d need way more than 3,000,000 to wage a galaxy wide war, especially against an army rumored to have billions of battle droids.
Aren Babachanian Nope, it was 3 000 000 Clone Troopers at any given point. Other than the Jedi making a difference, a Clone KDR typically being 50:1, and being stretched thin across the galaxy, only reason they didn't lose is 1) war was planned, 2) the size of the Droid Army was exaggerated in order to gain favour for more systems go join the CIS
I'd say the Clones, because they were designed, no expense spared, to be a fighting force. The CIS is cobbled together from various different things, and the Empire is designed for policing more than anything.
Shogun they are too expensive though. A good army fails if it bancrupts its employer, which the clone army almost did. I would go with a mix of droids and clones, squads consisting of 5 BX commando droids and one clone as their leader. The droids are cheap, quick to replace and dont experience fatigue, while the clone leader gives the squad his creativity and wit.
I would go mainly with clones as well but I would take the more effective droids from the CIS like the B3 Ultra Battledroid and the Droideka and add them into the military to supplement the clones.
i woud use 1 clone as troop leader and then commando droids in a ratio 1 to 20 and i woud use buble shields everywhere and whennlanding troops i woud first level the ground and then drop schields so my army coud land safely
My perfect army would be Scouts: Imperial Speeder Bike (one we see in SW Rebels) or a BARC Speeder for urban would be some civilian speeder that can be modified with some light weapons. Tanks: I'd go with a modified AT-TE & the 2M Saber Tank to compliment the Modified AT-TE. Next category ( Anti Personnel or something like that.) Id go with a modified AT-ST that's mixed with an AT-DP Transport: I'd go with the Clone Turbo Tank along with something that can compliment with the Clone Turbo Tank. Speeder: Is a V-Wing Air Speeder I might consider using some droids for my army. I'd go with the Commando Droids.
CABOOSEBOB Droidekas aren't really my favorite droid since you can counter their shields plus their shields drain energy to. Not to mention you can destroy a Droideka by being on the movie & hitting it with an grenade of some kind.
Jameson Dymond Yeah Ik the A6 is a great vehicle. The reason why I called the A6 the clone turbo tank is because that's what it's also known as & thats the name Lego used when they released the A6 to the general public.
DisneyFireheart but droidekas can deliver a lot of fire power, plus their shield is not easily countered by infantry fire. They'd be good in the front lines to soak up damage.
My perfect army: Infantryman would be commando droids. They fit the role perfectly and are flexible. Recon Craft: CIS STAP IFV/AFV/LAV: Naboo Stead-Fast "tank" MBT: AAT ASF/SSF: Scarab Class Droid Star Fighter (it has shields unlike the vulture). ATT/CAS (air troop transport and close air support): Droid Gunship TT: MTT and platoon attack craft Dropship/orbital transport: C-9979 landing craft Artillery: Hail Fire droid (for its agility and 30 guided missile munitions) Heavy Artillery: Dug Rail Gun and or harnadien defensive cannon AA: Triple-A gun from CIS AT (dedicated emplacement): particle cannon turret (some flexibility as it can also devistate infantry). AOP( anti orbital platform): SPHA and HVs-2
If I could not have commando droids as infantry than I would use the Umbarians as the infantrymen or zabraks. The MTT and platoon attack craft would be modified to carry them as well. But their primary purpose would be supply transports anyways. The stead fast tank can handle troop transport in active engagement zones while the other two would be used to quickly reinforce bases and regions en mass if necessary. ( an the republic gunship would take the ATT role while the droid gunship takes CAS)
damn half of these would probably be expensive af and would probably cause _some_ sort of succession, like umbarans/zabraks? tf? and then using commando droids.. heck
I actually agree. My 'army' would technically be a bunch of nomadic asteroid miners. You can't defeat what you can't catch. You can't conquer territory that doesn't exist. In all honesty, Star Wars is totally unrealistic in my opinion. Everyone knows you can't have space colonization so long as you are lorded over by a government. Republic no better than the Empire, imo. Only difference was Republic would tax productive people, and give it to other non-productive people , as if it weren't still theft. At least the Empire was straight forward about it.
In my opinion, I don't quite like Eckhart's design of a navy, but his army seems well rounded in a good way. The thing that I've seen be forgotten is the amount of resources it will take to maintain that fleet or that army... unless your government is completely militarized, wonder how good Emperor Eckharts sounds.
The army needs some form of CAS (Close Air Support) and anti-air capabilities. The Droid Gunship would be excellent in a CAS role, but there isn't really a good vehicle that provides dedicated AA in star wars that I'm aware of. Maybe a retro-fit or reconfiguring of the Saber or AAT would fix that problem.
starwars.fandom.com/wiki/All_Terrain_Anti-Aircraft. It's right there in the name. AAC-1 speeder and Hailfire Droid Tank could also serve in that role with the right missile loadout.
Love the list, the only thing I would add would be Hailfire tanks, they would provide a much needed "agile artillery unit" and their missiles are also great against opposing gunships/tanks/infantry. All around a great vehicle
AT-TE tank, AT-DP walker, Lothal speeder bike or Bloodfin, AAT, LAAT Gunship, I like the look and maneuverability of Tie Strikers. Army: ARC troopers, clone commandos, Commando droids, and imperial jump trooper. The cool triplets army
Although AT TE is partially affective due to it being low to the ground and having multiple weapons as well as being able to go into battle in space and climb up cliffs, lets face it, it is given too much credit as being a great tank. The AT TE has very light armor and just a single rocket could destroy its legs, immobilizing it, (we saw this in Attack of the clones as well as tcw series) making it very vulnerable and a huge target. The AT TE was also very slow and the gunner position up top was exposed. I do agree however, that it is an awesome vehicle in the star wars universe.
I would have a very similar army layout, except I would probably have the Umbaran MHC instead of the AT-AP. The main weapon is just as powerful, if not more so, and the machine is overall more adaptable and can perform other roles, such as a tank and anti-personnel.
This army reminds me a lot of the German army of ww2. Very specialised, combined arms, fear factor, and tons and tons of types and vehicle models. The army could work as long as logistics, supply lines, and manufacturing don’t get hit and once one of those goes, the whole army will suffer more than an army that is built on adaptability
Great but i would have Grand admiral trench leading it. But if i could chose from anything i would just need Balrogs, Dragons, Sauron, all the units said and Melkor. May the force be with you
They would get absolutely crushed by any star wars faction. The numbers in lotr typically range in the thousands to low millions at most. Star Wars factions like the Empire and CIS have armies in the trillions. You can't seriously tell me Balrogs wouldn't get wiped out by the combined might of any type of Tanks. And the adapted starfighters could easily deal with Dragons.
Nice army choices Ecks ^^ I would also take CIS and Republic units and call it a day; in particular, I'd take CIS for the core of the army and use Republic as elites/support. I love that you took both the Octuptarra Magna and the Droid Gunship!
I like your combo of the Sabre tank and AAT, they perfectly balance each other. The AAT doesn’t have 360 anti-infantry capabilities, but the Sabre does. I would love to use the LAAT, as my transport though. And I think I would use the AT-RT for recon, or the 74-Z, because they are both extremely fast. I mostly agree with your army layout, although I think I would use clones complemented by Droidekas or Super Battle Droids for infantry.
Attempt#11 Sergeant Johnson vs. Captain Rex, Attempt#3 Transformers vs. The Flood(autobots try to protect humans against the flood and if it becomes large enough the decepticons can help), and probably may favorite suggestion Darth Vader vs. The Didact but they can't use the force/gravity manipulating powers against each other and it's the didactic from halo 4
4:40 These are historicaly called "Infantry Tanks". The german Panzer IV was an example in the begining (before refits), also there was the Mk4 Churchil for the allies side.
My army: Walker: AT-M6 as the fear factor and AT-TE as main assault walker with AT-RTs as support Troop transport: Juggernaut Tank: Rebel version of the AAT cause it has more armor and more powerful weapons (we see it used in issue 21 of the main Star Wars comic series) Dropships: U-Wings as fast acting and deploying small specialized task forces with LAATs for main troops and Droid Gunships as protective vehicles As for thinning out troops, I think Homing Spider droids might do better then Octuptarra droids Lastly speeders: I like Barc speeders a lot as they are fast and can be customized with things like side cars
Tank: AT-TE with AAT cannon. Scout: Speeders and AT-RT. Artillery: SPHA and SPMA and AT-AP. Fast attack vehicle: Hailfire Droids. Transport: Juggernaut and LAATs. (Both variants of the LAAT.) Walker: AT-M6. Extras: HMP Droid gunship, Octuptarra Tri-droid.
Why with an AAT Cannon? Aren't AT-TE cannons more powerful? The AT-TE lacks in speed, if it had more speed it could be better for a more flexible army. Also is it even possible to fit an AAT cannon onto an AT-TE? I think it would be easier just to encase the exposed parts of the AT-TE gunner in armor than to wire and transplant an AAT turret onto an AT-TE. Plus they had a lower rotation ark. It's likely an AAT cannon couldn't aim far enough down to hit enemies from that hight. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
@@superkamiguru6856 Well an AATs turret is about the same size as the AT-TEs mass driver cannon, and the mass driver cannon lacks penetrating power of the heavy laser cannon of the AAT (this is seen in star wars rebels when the mass driver cannon couldn't make a dent in the armor of an AT-AT. However, the heavy blasters of another AT-AT could penetrate the armor. Not to mention the AAT Has two weaknesses. One, it lacks all around coverage of fire of the AT-TE. Two, the AAT is a repulsor tank, meaning it cannot go through a ray shield, it cannot be used on objects without gravity, and it is not a stable firing platform. (See generation tech video "Ten flaws with the AAT") the heavy laser cannon of the AAT could penetrate more armor than the mass driver cannon, although it lacks versatility, it can be supplemented by the sabre tank. Edit: the AATs turret could not aim down soley because of the design of the tank. It could pivot down more on the unobstructed platform if the AT-TE.
I feel like the best droid for a soldier position would be the BX series commando droid. Mobile, adaptive, durable, an effective combatant even without a blaster, and a perfect size to be deployed from a droid gunship.
Sun Tzu said: “Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing.” ... So any Army should be based upon this. And remember: "If you know yourself and know your enemy, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." I believe in a flexible Army: Walker(s ): Fascinated by Foreign Intruder Defense Organism or FIDO , also All Terrain Advance Raider (AT-AR) for scouting. Along with (AT-AHT). SPHA-T for Artillery. 2-M Saber-class repulsor tank, and XR-85 tank droid. As for Landspeeder: Arrow-23 landspeeder. And to the last: YVH series Yuuzhan Vong Hunter - "The droids had multiple minicannons mounted on their arms, including blaster cannons,[2] and had thick self healing armor made of laminanium. They also had grenade launchers."
Dude I love this series! I thought about this when you did the video about the Vong attacking during the Clone Wars but also applies here. How cool would it be to have the clone army supplemented by droids? Imagine taking clone infantry but every clone trooper has an sbd and 3 b1s at his command. During deployment a single LAAT would be accompanied by 4 droid gunships. Nothing could stand against this army. Or how awesome would it be to see an AT-TE flanked by two of those giant ass tri-droids? Super awesome, that's how awesome! Also I've been bingeing Star Wars audio books alongside your Tap Caf Transmissions, I really appreciate your content. I'm a recovering addict and deal with a lot of anxiety because of this, listening to your content and watching your videos is a great distraction, I can't explain to you how much this helps me, thank you so much.
Personally my army would simply be the republic army, however, id switch out most At-tes with first order AT-M6s. Also, id switch out all republic ranks for AATs and super tanks, and buy more artillery and juggernauts. Finally, all clone troopers will be upgraded with the E11 blaster and I'd definitely have some Phase III dark troopers exoskeletons in there as well. Edit: id also include the speeders in ROTJ, octuptarra magna tri droids, and AT-AHTs.
Emperor Valkorion Why haven't anyone thought about sticking a pair of guns from AT-AT on top of a juggernaut and use it as a tank? This thing is like 2 times larger and 3 times faster than ATAT. Hell, you can put a theatre shield generator into that huge cargo bay. It would certainly be the one I will use if someone builds it
Василий Данилов that's a good idea, but a at-at is good to have the laser cannons because it can swivel its head. The juggernaut is what it is a juggernaut. It's fast, but it's not very maneuverable and can't individually turn it's parts around. Laser cannons work best when you can swivel them.
2:16 Nice feature of the AT-AR. The concept art is the same one that became the AT-DP, just a little shorter maybe. The one shown is from the X-Wing comics, with what looks like extra cheek guns, including anti-aircraft I think.
The CIS droid army was one of the most effective armies in Star Wars. Not only because they were organized efficiently, but because they implemented their own strength of mass producibility, and wave tactics. Humans/Clones as it turns out are squishy, gooey, fragile “handle with care” creatures while droids are soulless, tactical, blaster-sponges, etc. In fact without the Jedi the Clone army would’ve lost a lot more battles than they won. Like hell a Super Tactical Droid nearly beat a republic army with Kenobi, Anakin, Asoka (I think) and it took Jedi war crimes to win! Long live the Confederacy of Independent Systems!
Thunderbolt Starfury from Babylon 5 vs the Sabre from Halo Reach. VF-1S Valkyrie variable fighter from SDF Macross (not Robotech) vs the Union Overflag from Gundam 00. Tallgeese from Gundam Wing vs the Grimgerde from Gundam IBO.
You choose. Please like and comment a number. Thank you 🙂. 45+ times posted. 1) StarCraft vs Halo: Can Reach survive a Zerg invasion? 2) 2 Harrower Dreadnaughts vs 1 Imperial Star Destroyer 3) Factions Compared Best Military Commander 4) Behemoth class Battlecruiser vs Venator Star Destroyer 5) Top 5 Imperial commanders from canon 6) Mandator Class Dreadnaught vs Resurgent Battlecruiser
1, nope not enough Spartans as normal marines will be nothing to the zerg and theirs not enough ODST to make a difference 2, depends on if you subscribe to the fact that tech degraded during the army of light and darkness day's if so then design wise yes more figthers which the SD are weak ageist and two large ships that can match it in firepower will take it down if not then the tech advantage of 4 thousand years of progress is to much to match 3, that be a good vid 4, venator wins cause of tech advantage but also it's 400+ figthers will swarm the behemoth 5,be pretty good thou their be a short list to choose from and thrawn will top it no problem 6, depends on which class of mandator as their is 4 but likely via tech advantage for 1-3 the resurgent wins and for the 4 the resurgent wins as the mandator has no weapons xD
What about those cool tanks with the two wheels that fires the missiles, seems like it would be pretty fast and able to dish out a lot of damage in a short amount of time, It was also my favorite lego set when I was a kid. There were also those small spider droids with the one gun, those seem like they would make pretty good anti personal, they are cheap, low profile and can handle more terrain like water.
I really like the BARC speeder as well as the snow speeder that the clones used, in the episode against the new species on that snowy planet. The ones with the weird tentacle mouths
For the one you didn’t know what to call I would suggest something like the infantry fighting vehicle for a good start of the class. Loved the video! Please keep it up
Hey Eck, two things. After watching your quick video on the Last Jedi it made me reconsider how i felt about the new saga. I re-watched both episode 7 and 8 and have to say you are pretty spot on about the 8th movie unfortunately... My proposition for videos today are as follows. I would love for you to talk about the in universe science behind a hyperspace ram and if it is indeed possible to ram 1 let alone several ships through hyperspace. My second idea is for a new series. I would love for you to take an iconic "supercapital" ship like the eclipse, give it a small escort fleet and pin it against a fleet that would leave the playing field even. The fleet make up and size would be completely up to you; whatever you feel stands a chance against the super's. I personally would love to see videos like this because they would help me understand the power of these supercapital ships and I have a feeling you would have very interesting fleet composition and dialog
Just an observation: all those vehicle platforms would make standardized training a logistical nightmare. And just imagine the strategic planning required for managing a combined arms unit.
Navy Venetor star destroyer Imerpial star destroyer Headhunter Arc starfighter Y wing bombers Infantry Clones Spec ops clones Armor Juggernaut At te Rocket artilery droids
Infantry: Basic Infantry would be droids, B1-B2-B3 models for overwhelming force Specialized infantry: living beings, commando units and officers would be a mixture of variants similar to Republic/Imperial squads Tank: AAT/saber (i agree with you on this 100%) Transport: Juggernaut for living personel/B2-3 droids - Droid transport (as seen in episode 1) for mass transporting B1's Scout: i'd use speeder bikes, not much protection but with a droid pilot, the care for a survivor is secondary to getting the scouting related information Artillary: SPMT/CIS wheel missle tank - do not remember the name at all fast attack vehicle: AT-ST with a repeating anti-personnel laser cannon on one side and a missile launcher on the other, making it capable of blasting positions to dust in short periods of time Favorite Walker: until the AT-M6 was released it was the standard AT-AT, i personally would have a mixture of both primarily in groups of 2-3 AT-AT's and a single AT-M6 Speeder: V-wing for elite piots - the droid dropship for dropping off the necessary droids
Same goes for the necromorphs, in fact, I am pretty sure if any dead biomass is near a marker (what caused the necromorphs), it will be infected, the necromorphs don't even need to touch you in some cases
Army loadout: AT-TE: low profile (for a walker), six legs for extra stability, able to climb 90-degree angles with modification, and there's no reason you can't swap out the turret with other weapons. Put a Corellian A2-G quad on there for an air-defence artillery role; put a Gungan shield generator on it for a quick company defense shield; etc. Have LAAT/is escorted by T-47s for rapid speeder strikes and vertical envelopment. The spearhead forces would be droids heavily augmented by Droidekas that can hold their own (even against Force-users) while the infantry disembarks from the AT-TEs.
Commander Thorn so you’re telling me stormtroopers are better than Terran marines, and AT-AT walkers are better than siege tanks and colossus, and that the Empire could destroy Zerg hive clusters without the use of the Death Star or throwing a few hundred star destroyers at one. Got it And besides, we all know what happened during the yuuzhan vong war, so imagine that but with a potentially infinite amount of Zerg, a psionic with powers rivaling that of Palpatine or Yoda, and an extremely accomplished tactician
Commander Thorn Just to say, what are the Zerg fighting on a regular basis since they were created are basically an almost immortal civilisation of force users who's regular soldier is a double bladed jedi with a personnal shield and at least decades of training, and that's not taking in account the tech level of the Protoss combined to their psionic powers(aka Eldar but weaker). So meh, i would give them a run since if they manage to get a good foothold on the galaxy they'll end up reproducing faster than you can kill'em
Commander Thorn Who dared to say the Star Wars Galaxy has "a good chance" surviving the flood ? The only way for them to win is to be lucky and have the one single floodspore landing on a sun or on Alderaan at the begining of episode IV, heck no the sw universe is way to weak(like almost everything) to survive without insane luck like the force sending an alert in the head of emperor senate and "forcing" him to kill the foe before it appear. I'm still ok with the space battle thing thought, their ships are comparable in some measure to the Vong but less powerful, still able to put a good fight against both kinetic and energy weaponry, shielded ships(protoss litteraly got shields on everything, their resilience is debatable) made of alloys that are possibly better than durasteel (best steel
My favorite walker is either At-te or the at-ot. If I could change anything with the at-ot is I would put a roof on it and add one of the missile launchers from the juggernaut tank and put it on top
Scout: I’ve always liked the Barc speeder from the clone wars. I think the Naboo speeder you mentioned would also be good for urban environments and general policing. Tank: Easily the AT-TE. Aside from being my favorite walker, it also has that heavy gun for artillery and a bunch of smaller turrets for anti-infantry. It’s very well rounded and balanced. Fast attack: The Saber tank. It’s fast, well shielded, and can do escort when needed. Transport: Clone Turbo Tank, enough said. Anti infantry: AT-DPs would be a good choice. The manned gunner turret has always been something I thought made a lot of sense in that role since it would help to have one person to focus on shooting and another to focus on driving. (The AT-ST was really a downgrade when you think about it). Speeder: Honestly not sure, a military version T-47 could have potential (add some missiles, heavier weapons, etc.) I think for troops I would use a regular military recruitment system (to my knowledge it’s cheaper than paying for clones or droids) and supplement regular troops with either commando droids or clone troopers. Also, I think this is obvious, but having Jedi, or some sort of force using (preferably light side since that discourages backstabbing and power grabs) special forces would be amazing.
Definitely love your tank options. But I would have your AAT with the front laser cannons would remove it and add a shield generator and the side blasters would rotate 360 and 90 degree. Plus add a tail laser cannon right on the back (similar to the tail laser on the back of the LAAT).
Eck, 0:38 - I'm going to avoid using very expensive, rare, or otherwise experimental stuff. Eck, 8:31 - My army is probably going to use a lot of droids, if I had to pick one I'd go with the B3 ultra. (Which happens to be one of the most expensive and rare battle droids, the numbers of which that've actually showed up in official legends cannon could be represented with single digits.)
My favourite walker without a shadow of a doubt is the AT-XT for one and only one reason, it was my favourite vehicle to use in the old XBox Clone Wars game~
I'm not even all the way through the video but I have to say this, you said you weren't you specialized or overly rare vehicles yet the first one is the special speeder given to maul by Palpatine...in all fairness though I think that speeders awesome too lol anyways back to the video for me. Love the channel though man you are still the only star wars channel that doesn't post spoilers in the titles of your videos and for that I thank you. Finally I just wanted to say your content is great and I'm already enjoying this video so keep it up buddy you definitely have a fan here
I want to know more about your ideal infantry for your army. Like what basic infantry, elite, special operations and whatever other kinds of troops you could have. Maybe even custom troops. Oh! Like what your ideal weapons and armor would be for your troops depending on what they are meant to do on the battlefield. That would be cool
My favorite walker, AT AP all the way. Looks great and work well with my type of style, sit back and don't allow anyone to get close enough to hit you.
I like the idea of an elite task force of AT-XTs from the Star Wars: The Clones Wars video game on the game cube. They're fast (faster than the AT-RT), they have plasma shields to absorb some damage, they're a relatively small target compared to other similar walkers such as the AT-ST, they have proton mortars in addition to their dual light laser cannons and they're pretty damn customizable. In lore, a pair of them can smash an entire armored column of AATs and similar CIS vehicles. Having a few thousand in reserve can absolutely be a beautiful military asset, and they supplement AT-TEs and attack pods really well
For the Droid Dropship I think if you wanted organic troops you could put something like a medal plate on there backs for the Dropship's magnets to grab or something.
Hey man, your videos are off the chart awesome. I enjoy each second I watch, and I never even have a slight thought of unsubbing. I completely agree with every choice that you picked, although, I am much more of a canon expert, and especially with things seen in movies. I even did a podcast in school regarding the perfect fleet, and let's just say that you helped me out, and gave me a few ideas. But, with the corvette section, if you are looking at front-line fire-power, then I'd say a modified Consular-class corvette, for - of course - a more star-fighter based role. But I would expect for the hull to be a bit stronger. All in all, great job, on.... everything. Keep it up, and may the force be with you for all your days.
Would you consider doing an infantry or special forces episode in this series? You would have to probably limit yourself in the infantry you include (perhaps create categories like standard trooper, scouts, shock troops etc) but I think it would be an awesome way to round out the series!
Make sure to subscribe! A much requested universe will be making it's first appearance in this week's Factions Compared: Space Marines.
Dead Space???
Are you hinting at Dead Space???
My guess
Star Wars: Galactic Marines
Halo: UNSC Marines
Dead Space: EDF Marines
Aliens: US Colonial Marines
Nope

Sure the juggernaut is absolutely amazing if you get your hands on a working driveshaft.
We never did learn how long that guy waited for a drive shaft.
Until the end of time
Some say he is still waiting....
Jurassic Park III Velociraptor watt drive Shaft?
Uncle Tammy - He waited for about 3 years in total I’d say. It took a helpful fella putting a bit of pressure on the requisitions officer to get them to send it. Funny thing is that it only cost about 15 credits.....
Have a CIS navy and Republic ground forces and just like that, a solid army.
That would be pretty effective, plus CIS ships will finally have a need for that life support system.
owlstag awn add in a rebel/NR statfighter core, and give me 2 of these
Well, multiply the size of the clone army by like 1000 times and it would be a solid. The Clone army was averagly always around 3 million clones.

Clone officers, Droid grunts.
Clone specialists, droid assassins.
I would go mainly with clones as well but I would take the more effective droids from the CIS like the B3 Ultra Battledroid and the Droideka and add them into the military to supplement the clones.
i woud use 1 clone as troop leader and then commando droids in a ratio 1 to 20 and i woud use buble shields everywhere
and whennlanding troops i woud first level the ground and then drop schields so my army coud land safely
If the difficulty set of the B1 goes to "insane" it will great. Like, my ST BT2(2005) is more hard than they are
All this is useless if you don't have the high ground
disappointed that Eckhart hasn't "loved" this comment yet.
High orbit is the highest ground there is.
I hope this meme never dies
But beware of the swole...
ITS OVER ANAKIN
My perfect army would be
Scouts: Imperial Speeder Bike (one we see in SW Rebels) or a BARC Speeder for urban would be some civilian speeder that can be modified with some light weapons.
Tanks: I'd go with a modified AT-TE & the 2M Saber Tank to compliment the Modified AT-TE.
Next category ( Anti Personnel or something like that.) Id go with a modified AT-ST that's mixed with an AT-DP
Transport: I'd go with the Clone Turbo Tank along with something that can compliment with the Clone Turbo Tank.
Speeder: Is a V-Wing Air Speeder
I might consider using some droids for my army. I'd go with the Commando Droids.
DisneyFireheart what about droidekas
DisneyFireheart what about the a6 Juggernaut it’s a great breakthrough vehicle

Recon Craft: CIS STAP
IFV/AFV/LAV: Naboo Stead-Fast "tank"
MBT: AAT
ASF/SSF: Scarab Class Droid Star Fighter (it has shields unlike the vulture).
ATT/CAS (air troop transport and close air support): Droid Gunship
TT: MTT and platoon attack craft
Dropship/orbital transport: C-9979 landing craft
Artillery: Hail Fire droid (for its agility and 30 guided missile munitions)
Heavy Artillery: Dug Rail Gun and or harnadien defensive cannon
AA: Triple-A gun from CIS
AT (dedicated emplacement): particle cannon turret (some flexibility as it can also devistate infantry).
( an the republic gunship would take the ATT role while the droid gunship takes CAS)
damn half of these would probably be expensive af and would probably cause _some_ sort of succession, like umbarans/zabraks? tf? and then using commando droids.. heck
You forgot APC.
The "perfect" army is none at all! Was this video sponsored by your Corporate Sector overlords to sell us on the Military Industrial Complex!?!
Damn hippy
A perfect army is the Imperium of man
Fix bayonets!
Im done
In my opinion, I don't quite like Eckhart's design of a navy, but his army seems well rounded in a good way. The thing that I've seen be forgotten is the amount of resources it will take to maintain that fleet or that army... unless your government is completely militarized, wonder how good Emperor Eckharts sounds.
He has my vote.
He aint a sith so i would vote 4 him
Honestly I'd probably just have an entire army of Republic vehicles 😂 FOR THE REPUBLIC!!
Nah
+Krzysztof Szymański Yeah
FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!
Hostiles detected.
Rulingmoss 55 nah
Next do a perfect army as in soldiers, force users, and leaders also special forces
Recusant Class Light Destroyer vs MC75
Trench Fleet vs Thrawn Fleet
Mass Effect Combined Navies (Minus Reapers) vs Covenant Navy
The army needs some form of CAS (Close Air Support) and anti-air capabilities. The Droid Gunship would be excellent in a CAS role, but there isn't really a good vehicle that provides dedicated AA in star wars that I'm aware of.
Maybe a retro-fit or reconfiguring of the Saber or AAT would fix that problem.
starwars.fandom.com/wiki/All_Terrain_Anti-Aircraft. It's right there in the name. AAC-1 speeder and Hailfire Droid Tank could also serve in that role with the right missile loadout.
Hailfire tanks man, they're all you need.
I think the at aa is good
There’s also the OG-9,
Which with its lasers and range could act like a competent AA vehicle
A multirole fighter(like a space Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II) would be good for CAS.
Recon: BARC speeder, AT-ST (or variant of it)
Armour: AAT, TX-130
Transport/IFV: AT-TE, Juggernaut, AT-OT (outside combat zones)
Artillery: AV-7, SPMA, SPHA, Heilfire Droid, AT-AP
CAS: V-wing (the galctic civil war), LAATi
Droids: Droideka (used in ship security)
Love the list, the only thing I would add would be Hailfire tanks, they would provide a much needed "agile artillery unit" and their missiles are also great against opposing gunships/tanks/infantry. All around a great vehicle
AT-TE tank, AT-DP walker, Lothal speeder bike or Bloodfin, AAT, LAAT Gunship, I like the look and maneuverability of Tie Strikers. Army: ARC troopers, clone commandos, Commando droids, and imperial jump trooper.
The cool triplets army
My favorite Walker would have to be the ATTE Walker. Classic and iconic, it is also very effective in its specialized role!
Agreed
Although AT TE is partially affective due to it being low to the ground and having multiple weapons as well as being able to go into battle in space and climb up cliffs, lets face it, it is given too much credit as being a great tank. The AT TE has very light armor and just a single rocket could destroy its legs, immobilizing it, (we saw this in Attack of the clones as well as tcw series) making it very vulnerable and a huge target. The AT TE was also very slow and the gunner position up top was exposed. I do agree however, that it is an awesome vehicle in the star wars universe.
Agreed it’s in my army
The perfect Star Wars army is a million jar-jar binks'.
Brad Deremer get the enemy to kill themselves …
casbott "meesa rules the galaxy now"
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Brad Deremer so mass suicide
That would work as long as you told them to help the enamy
CIS and The republic grand army combine would make the best army in star wars. It would be close to our modern military.
And beat the crap out of our armies, but yeah, the best of the best would be
What our ,guns would tear them up
@@Sir_Guardus The armor of clone troopers are bulletproof.
@@aurelian2668 th-cam.com/video/lgG-HXH7I9I/w-d-xo.html
X-83 Twintail vs. Tie Defender (the Legends version)
I love how Eck loves the Juggernaught so much its usually the top tier choice for every tank role
Infantry: BX Commando Droid
Scout: STAP
Light Tank: Saber Tank
Main Battle Tank: AAT
Artillery: AT-AP, RX-200 Falchion "Stun Tank"
Ground Transport: Juggernaut
Air Transport/Air Artillery: HMP Gunship
Thx
Video on which is better/more effective for taking out planetary shields: Mandator IV or Torpedo Sphere
Torpedo Spheres, hands down.
One of the fort fifty! Yay! And ya I do agree with your load out
My favorite walker is by far the at-te. Always thought it was awesome, and it has some great firepower
Replicators vs a Unified Star Wars universe (164th try now, *_I._** WILL NEEEVER EEVER GIVE UP!!!)*
NEVER QUIT NEVER SURRENDER!!
keep going man you'll get there some day.............
Hopefully you succeed as well
coming up on infra-red My guess is the Replicators
But the Death Star could be pretty helpful
coming up on infra-red you better still be trying
I too, agree that the AT-M6 is the peak of walkers, goofy ass looking walker, but easily a giant fear factor and improvement from the AT-AT.
Great video Eck!
Thanks for the ❤️!
lovely, using this when going to mandalore
Your army is so perfect and great vid.
I suggest watching the 4 part video on Generation Tech. It's basically the same concept but more in depth, and I must say, they outdid themselves
Everybody is replaced with revan
me: spams revan
Or anakin clones😳
3:00 That is the original star wars battlefront 2 from the PS2, I have it
Mobile infantry vs CIS army.
4:40 These are historicaly called "Infantry Tanks". The german Panzer IV was an example in the begining (before refits), also there was the Mk4 Churchil for the allies side.
My army:
Walker: AT-M6 as the fear factor and AT-TE as main assault walker with AT-RTs as support
Troop transport: Juggernaut
Tank: Rebel version of the AAT cause it has more armor and more powerful weapons (we see it used in issue 21 of the main Star Wars comic series)
Dropships: U-Wings as fast acting and deploying small specialized task forces with LAATs for main troops and Droid Gunships as protective vehicles
As for thinning out troops, I think Homing Spider droids might do better then Octuptarra droids
Lastly speeders: I like Barc speeders a lot as they are fast and can be customized with things like side cars
Honestly, an at-m6 would be much better as a heavy assault.
Tank: AT-TE with AAT cannon.
Scout: Speeders and AT-RT.
Artillery: SPHA and SPMA and AT-AP.
Fast attack vehicle: Hailfire Droids.
Transport: Juggernaut and LAATs. (Both variants of the LAAT.)
Walker: AT-M6.
The Flood vs Skynet
3rd Attempt
Who are Skynet?
The AI that was responsible for the Robot Apocalypse in the Terminator Franchise
Oh yeah now I remember!
It's Ya Boi Daniel well who do you think would win?
There are points that could go to each, I'd go with Skynet, what do you think?
I feel like the best droid for a soldier position would be the BX series commando droid. Mobile, adaptive, durable, an effective combatant even without a blaster, and a perfect size to be deployed from a droid gunship.
Sun Tzu said: “Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing.” ... So any Army should be based upon this. And remember: "If you know yourself and know your enemy, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." I believe in a flexible Army:
Walker(s ): Fascinated by Foreign Intruder Defense Organism or FIDO , also All Terrain Advance Raider (AT-AR) for scouting.
Sounds expensive
one sub one plink I guess, but a government should be able to afford it
You could buy one army like that or three normal army's
Oi! Where's my Imperial war machines?! (just kiddin' love ya eck)
Dread Master Raptus They got love in the Ecks Navy!
I love how, @ 00:02, those 2 rebels jump when a explosion happens behind them.
You choose. Please like and comment a number. Thank you 🙂. 45+ times posted.
1) StarCraft vs Halo: Can Reach survive a Zerg invasion?
2) 2 Harrower Dreadnaughts vs 1 Imperial Star Destroyer
3) Factions Compared Best Military Commander
4) Behemoth class Battlecruiser vs Venator Star Destroyer
5) Top 5 Imperial commanders from canon
6) Mandator Class Dreadnaught vs Resurgent Battlecruiser
1, nope not enough Spartans as normal marines will be nothing to the zerg and theirs not enough ODST to make a difference
2, depends on if you subscribe to the fact that tech degraded during the army of light and darkness day's if so then design wise yes more figthers which the SD are weak ageist and two large ships that can match it in firepower will take it down if not then the tech advantage of 4 thousand years of progress is to much to match
3, that be a good vid
4, venator wins cause of tech advantage but also it's 400+ figthers will swarm the behemoth
5,be pretty good thou their be a short list to choose from and thrawn will top it no problem
6, depends on which class of mandator as their is 4 but likely via tech advantage for 1-3 the resurgent wins and for the 4 the resurgent wins as the mandator has no weapons xD
YES PLEASE! 2 harrowers Vs 1 imperial star destroyer.
(Or 3, you can never have too many badass ships)
Wait, I remember now. You’re the one I stole my suggestion for the FC military leaders for. And I think officer corps...
I would choose a leader for it:
The glorius general Veers!
The All Terrain Attack Pod is my favourite walker. Little slow but long ranged and heavily armed.
best speeder- BARC, STAP, 74-Z, ect
I really like the BARC speeder as well as the snow speeder that the clones used, in the episode against the new species on that snowy planet. The ones with the weird tentacle mouths
Hi eck!
For the one you didn’t know what to call I would suggest something like the infantry fighting vehicle for a good start of the class.
Loved the video! Please keep it up
Nebula class vs. Resurgent class
Jacob Robert Resurgeant would win
Resurgence could proberly take on 2 nebula maybe not 3 tho
Big fan of the at-ap too, had a lego one as a kid and the third leg for firing stability is awesome
Yuuzhan vong worldship VS. Executor Super Star Destroyer.
Please do this video
Space Battleship Yamato vs Super Star Destroyer Eclipse
Just an observation: all those vehicle platforms would make standardized training a logistical nightmare. And just imagine the strategic planning required for managing a combined arms unit.
Navy
Venetor star destroyer
Imerpial star destroyer
Headhunter
Arc starfighter
Y wing bombers
Infantry
Clones
Spec ops clones
Armor
Juggernaut
At te
Rocket artilery droids
Infantry: Basic Infantry would be droids, B1-B2-B3 models for overwhelming force
Specialized infantry: living beings, commando units and officers would be a mixture of variants similar to Republic/Imperial squads
Tank: AAT/saber (i agree with you on this 100%)
Transport: Juggernaut for living personel/B2-3 droids - Droid transport (as seen in episode 1) for mass transporting B1's
Scout: i'd use speeder bikes, not much protection but with a droid pilot, the care for a survivor is secondary to getting the scouting related information
Artillary: SPMT/CIS wheel missle tank - do not remember the name at all
fast attack vehicle: AT-ST with a repeating anti-personnel laser cannon on one side and a missile launcher on the other, making it capable of blasting positions to dust in short periods of time
Favorite Walker: until the AT-M6 was released it was the standard AT-AT, i personally would have a mixture of both primarily in groups of 2-3 AT-AT's and a single AT-M6
Speeder: V-wing for elite piots - the droid dropship for dropping off the necessary droids
Necromorphs vs The Flood
He'd probably just say that the Flood would infect the Necromorphs lmao, in my opinion it's up to numbers
It's Ya Boi Daniel True
It's Ya Boi Daniel if it has biomass the flood can infect it
Same goes for the necromorphs, in fact, I am pretty sure if any dead biomass is near a marker (what caused the necromorphs), it will be infected, the necromorphs don't even need to touch you in some cases
It's Ya Boi Daniel the flood are just going to get infinitely smarter and learn how to curb stomp the necromorphs, probably take a long ass time tho
Could the Zerg from Starcraft invade the Star Wars galaxy?
Generic Human personally, I think either faction could win, but I think the SWu would have to "Alderaan" one or more infested planets to win.
Commander Thorn so you’re telling me stormtroopers are better than Terran marines, and AT-AT walkers are better than siege tanks and colossus, and that the Empire could destroy Zerg hive clusters without the use of the Death Star or throwing a few hundred star destroyers at one. Got it
And besides, we all know what happened during the yuuzhan vong war, so imagine that but with a potentially infinite amount of Zerg, a psionic with powers rivaling that of Palpatine or Yoda, and an extremely accomplished tactician
I'm still ok with the space battle thing thought, their ships are comparable in some measure to the Vong but less powerful, still able to put a good fight against both kinetic and energy weaponry, shielded ships(protoss litteraly got shields on everything, their resilience is debatable) made of alloys that are possibly better than durasteel (best steel
and you end by sayin 'let's throw in a whole bunch of separatist droids because they're the best"-I love you!

ill just end all of you in one sentence. if you didint dislike look away while you still can
you mom gay no us back.
FalloutCultist No,but I have a cassio wrist watch and two dollars. You can have one. Choose wisely.
My favorite walker is either At-te or the at-ot. If I could change anything with the at-ot is I would put a roof on it and add one of the missile launchers from the juggernaut tank and put it on top
First
You are my favourite TH-cam or
50th
Speeder: Honestly not sure, a military version T-47 could have potential (add some missiles, heavier weapons, etc.)
I think for troops I would use a regular military recruitment system (to my knowledge it’s cheaper than paying for clones or droids) and supplement regular troops with either commando droids or clone troopers. Also, I think this is obvious, but having Jedi, or some sort of force using (preferably light side since that discourages backstabbing and power grabs) special forces would be amazing.
Kandosii-type Dreadnought vs Assault Frigate Mark II or Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser vs Kandosii-type Dreadnought.
AT-AP is my favorite walker, even though that’s less of an AT-AT type walker and more of an artillery piece
Infantry: battle droid (all type)
War Machine: same in the video
Yes i love ground battles and army’s! Love the idea Eck! 👍🏻
Having a few thousand in reserve can absolutely be a beautiful military asset, and they supplement AT-TEs and attack pods really well
A very nice video as always EckhartsLadder.
For the Droid Dropship I think if you wanted organic troops you could put something like a medal plate on there backs for the Dropship's magnets to grab or something.
You should make a video where you breakdown the average Star Wars battle
I must have seen episode 3 a thousand times but I never noticed the juggernauts behind the Wookiee’s at 5:51 until now
Would you consider doing an infantry or special forces episode in this series? You would have to probably limit yourself in the infantry you include (perhaps create categories like standard trooper, scouts, shock troops etc) but I think it would be an awesome way to round out the series!
Man. So much to choose. I don’t recall my fleet and army in a long time.
