  • We've experienced 28 inches of rain in the past month, which led to my 4WD F150 getting stuck about 10 days ago. I initially tried to recover it with a tractor and another truck, but both also got stuck and were luckily recovered. Today, after a few days of sun, I went back to try again, but still couldn't get it out. Additionally, one of my rear wheels stopped engaging, which might indicate a mechanical issue or a problem with the differential/lock control.
I'll be making another attempt in the next few days, weather permitting. Stay tuned for updates!

Coming from a guy whose been stuck a time or two, i have some advice. You need to dig behind the tires so it can roll up out of the hole. Also, go back to harbor freight and buy a snatch block or 2 and a few clevis. Double your pulling power, and you dont need to pull straight on.

Good advice. I thought about the snatch block after. I actually have a few. Thanks man.

    Is it still stuck?

No. I got it out. But...broke rear axle. Fun stuff. Will update when I do full diagnosis and repair.
