To calibrate, hold the reference device (in my case that's my left controller) and the tracker in the same hand, and make a large figure 8 motion with your whole arm. This is the setup I personally went with. There are many ways to setup FBT! I've been having a tough time keeping things calibrated and have 6 trackers total, so I'd love to know how to get that head tracker working correctly.

Thanks for the tutorial but I have two BIG questions 1. I’m planing on using it for blade and sorcery, do you know if it’ll work with blade and sorcery? 2. Is it possible to only have two trackers and it still work for legs
Hi!! I will do my best to help but just know I am NOT an expert on this at all! Haha. I've also never played Blade and Sorcery. This video was basically me passing along what I learned while trying to get my own setup worked out. You would probably be better off asking this stuff in an FBT Discord. That said, I'll try to answer! The third party software for allowing the Vive trackers to work with the Quest seems to be achieving that within SteamVR. So, I believe any app that runs off of SteamVR will work with this setup! I've never heard of anyone using only leg trackers without the hip tracker, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't! tracking the hip is very helpful because it's basically the transform of your whole torso. If you're trying to save money I'd go with Slimes instead of skipping a Vive tracker. The reason I didn't go with Slimes is because they are less precise, drift, and have had shipping issues in the past. Though there are other sellers of Slimes (since it's open source) which may not have shipping issues. And I've heard there are ways to mitigate drift. Best of luck and I hope you find the answers you need! This is still pretty new technology and technically the trackers were never designed to work with the Quest so it's all a bit tricky. But with a bit of work I bet you could get a solution.
@@Valtritium I don't usually have to recalibrate unless I take off my headset! So, however long it takes you to need to refill your water or go to the bathroom lol. And recalibrating is pretty easy like I showed. Just turn off all trackers but one. Calibrate that one tracker in OpenVR Space Calibrator. Turn on the rest. And calibrate in VRChat.
Im Tracking with an Program for PC called Driver4VR it Films my Body and Tracks, so i dont need to buy expensive stuff. But it looks very cursed when i turn it on, and everyone says i should fix it with autocenter but since the new update i dont see autocenter anywhere

I used to have my phone's camera approximate FBT for me. But it has so many problems and it's so inaccurate. The setup I have now *_just works._* The more I use VR, the more I appreciate the value of that.
@@ShantiSyndrome I actually have had 4 Vive trackers paired (for continuous tracking which I'm setting up now) in addition to my Quest controllers and my inside-out virtual elbow trackers (which also show up on SteamVR), so I believe you can add more than 3 trackers. I'm sorry that I can't be of much more help. All I know is that this setup worked for me, and this is all I did to get it working.
Technically you could just use Air Link (free) for PCVR! And the rest of the software is also free. I recommend Virtual Desktop because Air Link is kinda *_dog water_* and you're spending like $760 anyway on hardware.

If you just do it through steam Vr you can get a lot better tracking

for some reason i cant add more than 3 trackers (i also have knuckles paired),is there a limit for quest or something?

Hi I noticed on Virus total, it sees it as a virus, is it safe?
I wouldn't recommend it if it was a virus. Since it's a fork of FOSS, it's probably just not popular enough for it to be flagged as safe.
