This show had one of the best/coolest soundtracks I've ever encountered in an Anime.
The singer for this, Lotus Juice, actually does a good amount of music for the persona series as well.

Soul eater was my second anime ever and it’s still absolutely precious to me, I love the bejesus out of it ㅠㅠ💖💖 I still remember watching the first episode and immediately falling in love in middle school, I’m on an OST nostalgia run rn AND IM SILENTLY SCREECHING IT’S LIKE 5 AM

I think it was the Madness Wavelengths. They corrupted him like SE Evans almost was and eventually consumed him and his definition of Justice. (He even fused himself with the Insane Clown in Noah’s Group in some of his battles)

It's Justins song that makes me wonder how the anime would have looked if the characters and story from the manga were kept the same. I would've loved to see Tezca Tlipoca and Noah Greed (NOT Grimoire...) in the Soul Eater anime, and it still bothers me they gave Justin and Crona protagonist development.
I think Crona's development works for his character and justin law just being a good guy was the right call because of the time left the show had for its story. I don't think a faithful adaptation would have gone over that well, like of course they had more time to spend on the characters and to do some more things with world building, but the manga wasn't planned out from the start like the anime and it shows.
