It's hard watching other anime when Soul Eater has individuals transforming to weapons and wielded, One Piece has creative forms of flight and fight where you don't simply levitate but either kick the air 10 times in an instant or use a devil fruit in a certain way. And Naruto got the best powers of all anime I have seen. Creating form out of nothing and manipulating the surroundings by imbuing your chakra/essence/aura whatever into it and besides the ending it's not about creating flashy shit out of nothing but more about science actually and logic. Paralyze by affecting the muscles to contract and the body think it's electrical signals from the nerves meaning you can't simply break out of it with pure strength while they analyze each others powers by their nature and deduce it's properties and how it works like Sasuke countering Deidara's explosive clay by nullifying earth with lightning based on Deidara's hand signs which isn't just made up but actually told before and shown at multiple times so it isn't just an excuse to win, when plot armor isn't in effect.

All Fullmetal has is victims of a war who are wanting revenge with a god loving murderer and the military is more shit than the army in Fairy Tail.
