BEST VIEWS IN VAUD? | We took a cog railway from Montreux to Rochers de Naye

This week we took a train from Montreux to Rochers de Naye in search of mountains and snow. And we found both of these! We felt catapulted into winter and the views were truly magical! You can see both the Swiss and the French Alps, as well as down onto lake Geneva, if the weather is clear enough. No wonder this place is often rated as having best views in the canton of Vaud!
The train runs on the cog railway and offers a picturesque 50 minute ride. There is also a Santa's grotto at Rochers de Naye, which you can book here: shop.mob.ch/en...

This is where Santa lives in December right? I hope we would be able to visit in December, but didn’t make it. Hopefully next year. 🤞The views from the top and the train are great.

Yes, it is there! It's a nice ride to the top and the views are amazing! Unfortunately, at the top there was no path to walk on, so you just had to stand around and wait for the next train down.😂 But if you visit the Santa's grotto, that should nicely fill up the time between the trains.
