how to make a worst version of wild strikes, version spinning strikes: -Slow animations. -Make it telegraph. -No hyperarmor. -MAKE EVERY MOVE PARRIABLE!!1!! ... uh, anyway, i though you could parry all the moves from wildstrikes... what a surprise, the wild brother wins again. PS: oh yeah i forgot, thanks for the video, really helpful.
To be fair, it was busted AF in Dark Souls 3-- R1>L2>R1orR2 was a true combo that hit for 900+ damage with the right build. It also had a glitch where you could infinitely hit someone until you either ran out of stamina or they died. So it's not really surprising that it was nerfed into the ground.
As someone who plays Elden Ring religiously, I must say that this guide is supremely helpful and very accurate (I've never played Elden Ring in my life).

Giant Hunt can be parried on colossal weapons, including 2H colossals. The rule is not 100% accurate, as most skills also available for greatswords and smaller are possible to parry.

I know this is an odd request, but can you parry Seppuku? In DS3, the Bloodlust weapon art (which Seppuku is copied from) could be parried on entry _and_ exit, which made for some rather hilarious kill assists. Knowing that many of Bloodlust's effects (e.g., being able to damage a target behind you) remain, I wonder if the ability to parry it does as well.
I just did some testing and was never able to damage enemies or npcs with seppuku. Are you sure that seppuku in elden ring has a hitbox like bloodlust does. I mean I am not 100% sure because my testing was kind of half-assed but I am like 95% sure that seppuku's stabbing and pulling the sword out animation does't have a hitbox and can't be parried. Sorry but I don't have access to any mods that show weapon hitboxes, so you are gonna have to ask someone else if you absolutely have to know these things. 👍
Nice video! I was just wondering if the parry tool NEEDS to have carian retailation or golden parry for the melee AOW and skills. Can i just use regular parry for these instead or does it have to be CR/GP?
Do you know if lightning slash can be parried when it's used on a colossal weapon? If you're 2 handing it the ash doesn't force you to one hand the weapon so I'm curious if it is just the ash in general or the ash and weapon class that matter
I believe that the ash of war is what decides whether or not an attack can be parried. For example, axe of godfrey's weapon skill can be parried while 2 handing dispite it being a colossal weapon. 8:47

If you get a duelist greataxe on a dex build then lightning infuse it with lightning slash aow it deals absurd damage and combos into a light attack, my gift to you. I am pretty sure that 2 handing a weapon doesn't affect most weapon skills,(like you do the same damage while-, and without two handing). Interestingly, Malikeths Black Blade's ash of war, Destined Death, can be parried if the person using it has no FP left.
Almost every single ash of war can be parried if stats are too low or you have no fp

But can you carian retaliate the watchdog's staff? Ive tried it multiple times with no success.
Yes, anything that can be golden retaliated can be carian retaliated. 👍
