This video, Fishing Toads, is a follow-up to my prior video, Tie On A Toad. In that video we talked about the baits, the rigging and matching everything to the proper gear. In this video we go into detail on how, when, where and why we fish the toad. Lot's of great information on a very overlooked and under rated bait. If you're fishing pressured waters and are looking to catch more fish, this is a video for you. Have fun and good luck. - กีฬา
Good stuff Steve! Thanx for doing something almost NONE of the youtuber fishermen show...hand, arm, reel, and rod movements to make baits do certain things. After a while, watching someone set a hook and reel in a fish gets old. When wanting to learn, it's great to see the actual demo of the movements. Again, GOOD STUFF!!
Thanks Nate, setting hook never gets old when it's me doing the set.
The doctor is in! You are the professor of the delta!
Have helped me improve tremendously!
Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Eric, thanks for the support.

Thank you for the follow-up. Totally needed by us weekenders

Around 8 minutes, when you describe the "shaking" retrieve, it reminds me a lot of the Alabama shake retrieve on the swim jig - basically the same deal. Very cool!
Dam, Alabame shake is a great name. I need to start thinking of better names. Thanks for watching.
Thx again Steve… toads are great! Love the tips
Thanks for doing a follow up video helps out a lot to see what your targeting.

Thanks for the lesson Steve. It's nice to see the set up, but showing how to fish the rig is really helpful.
Thanks so much Scott, good luck.
Thank you sir, always a learning experience
Thank you retflo.
I used to smash on some delta bass with the snag proof wobbeltron reminded me with that air frog you were throwing
Have not heard about the wobbeltron in awhile.
Very nice explanation Stevo....great camera angles and discussions on available targets.
Thank you Tiger, good luck. Make sure to send in your reports when you get out.
Good tips, obviously they will work with multiple baits. I do similar things with a fluke. Keep up the info.
Good luck, make sure to send a report on your next trip.
Nice explanation of how you fish the horny toad and soft air frog top water. Lesson learned now I need to put it to work. Thanks!
Good luck.
The old swim jig shimmy lol
Swim Jig Shimmy-nice.
If your fishing the UFC on the delta and need a partner. Id love to be on your boat again bud.. Tight lines 🎣
Love you Steve, used the toad to catch some nice ones out at Kings island.. Could you pretty please give a one to two minute update during the summer time about the spraying.. We were so heart broken to see all the wonderful mats dead. Because of that we would have chosen a different area that hasn't been sprayed. Thanks
I will share info as it comes in. Thanks for the support.
🐸 knowledge is appreciated.. got a couple last week.. Gavacho
Thanks for watching, good luck.
Love the videos Steve. Huge fan of the channel! Will for sure try those techniques. Also how can I get a hold of one of those in deep on the delta shirts?
I an trying to get some more shirts soon, I will let everyone know when they are trady. Thanks for the support.
What fishing reel is that one.
I like the sound it makes.
I’ve been using a weighted screw lock with toads because with the unweighted screw locks, about half the time they land upside down. Is the Damiki different, I can see the sink rate is sure different without the weight?
Thanks for the information Steve. I assume ideal depth is 3-7 feet will work for this technique?
Can't go wrong with 3to 7. Good luck. Been picking up more stripers the few days, lot's of fun.
Steve: thanks for the information on fishing Damiki toad and horny toad . I will try this method next out on the delta.
Ed
Hold on and send in the pics.
Steve, what hook are you using with the airfrog?
A 6/0 Trokar wide gap swim bait hook with a screw lock, set hard.
Mister twister
