Hey fam, just wanted to say thank you for the amazing content. I discovered your channel right as I got Nioh2 and it encouraged me to play the game skillfully rather than play it to build something op. Honestly this game has the most satisfying combat of any game I've ever played.
It does not matter that your build is not optimised for one thing in particular. Gamers enjoy your playstyle, so it is always great to see your videos where you talk about your current skills and build - nice video and keep it up! Probably next is how you keep the pressure up with different weapons against different enemies??
That may be quite difficult as I pretty much just freeflow...which requires a pretty good understanding of weapon skills, soul cores, enemy patterns, etc.
@@PooferLlama I understand (trust me I have watched your streams), but if you don't put aside a little time here and there to explain things, the Stream feels like watching animation (Japanese ones lol, action is too fast) and it can get monotonic. Some of your audience may not even understand moves you are using with different weapons, so it becomes more about just watching and not watching and then trying. I also understand this will be a bit time consuming too, so maybe pick one weapons at a time (like once a week etc. your own Series being a Nioh Guru) and go from there. In this way, your audience, does not matter which weapon they prefer, will learn to play like you (not just watch you). This is my opinion anyway, I play with every weapon and after getting the game on PC took my time to master every weapon (only Kusarigama is left) and just finished main game yesterday. Will start with DLC1 soon. All the best, I hope you can help others gamers and audience to enjoy the gameplay as much as you do when they watch you smashing those Yokais lol!!
I'll try my best. It is admittedly going to be very time consuming to make guides I'm content with but I'll try to make it happen. And thank you for your honesty :)
Most triumphant, very glad you made this. It's nice to see the less 'optimal' skills, gives some ideas on how to make them useful and integrate into combos. More move diversity is great and keeps the combat fresh.
You can put kick cycle on low stance and you can cancel at any point in the animation except the final kick into ocean zephyr into kick cycle again. Both moves add a stack. It's a relatively safe way to build stacks if you care about it.
