That 24v cummins is mean AF like it's damn fast especially with the nanual and I can just imagine how insane it would be with a tuner. Not only it sounds awesome but man it's got alot of power.
There is this special breed of people. I love to watch videos about driving (objectively uninteresting) cars like my old one, just to then have an (objectively uninteresting) drive myself and enjoying it very much.🤨😆
As mentioned before steering must be twelve turns lock to lock.😁 But the truck sounds great and it seems enjoyable to drive. For me as a german i have to live with smaller displacement cars but still love to drive my old manual station wagon diesel. Have fun🙂
That Dodge Ram 12 valve Cummins sounds awesome with the turbo whistle blowing black smoke diesel power 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
@@RightFootRacing i have. Beautiful lmm duramax ltz loaded, super clean. Trade ya, ha ha, I have a 40ft 16k 5th wheel camper, I need a long bed tow rig
My steering looks like this on camera as well, for some reason it looks bad on camera, but its not in person. Could just be the angle or something. truck sounds great btw
This is an old video but mines around 400 with a hot tune. I can get to 500-550 with a turbo but not rushing that just yet. Gonna drive the hell out of it this summer tho.. gonna be a lot of content
Nah they make it extremely easy with a 6 speed cummins haha. I was a die hard Chevy guy for years. Owned duramaxs, Detroits, 1500s, 2500s, squarebodies, obs, Camaros, trans ams. Had em all. Loved em all. None of em compare to a 6 speed cummins. Unlike anything haha
@@RightFootRacing haha don't get me wrong, there's nothing I'd like more than a 6 speed Cummins, as a Chevy guy myself. They just stopped making the goods
@@RightFootRacing Dodge/Ram stopped making manual diesels (as far as I know) and now they have all the silly environmental junk that's making them fairly unreliable. With that said, when I have the need for a diesel truck, I'll definitely still be going with the ole Cummins!
Oh yeah I think they stopped making manual cummins in 2016-2018 but to be fair most other brands stopped making manuals in general in like 2010 or even further back. I wouldn’t want a newer one myself. I’m not much into technology and never buy anything after 05 and even then it’s kinda specific on which vehicles I’d buy that new. 90s stuff was kinda the last of the hood stuff. If you want something that’ll last and be solid get a first or a second gen cummins. Even if they break it’s way cheaper and easier to fix then a newer style and the newer style will most likely give you more of a head ache anyways
Look at that fucking steering wheel lol. Every second gen dodge 😂😂😂 I think my 1500 is the worst of em all I can move from the 12 to 3 position before it even makes the tires turn at all
Idk why so many people complain about it tho. My blazer was 10 times worse. I didn’t even notice on this truck until a bunch of random people started pointing it out haha. Doesn’t bother me at all. Im not changing anything
Ya I had a k5 blazer with a 6 inch lift that was actually bad. Almost rolled it like 3 times. That was scary to drive. 2nd gens are a walk in the park. Just normal old truck steering
Oh ya when I’d drive my trans am or the cobalt SS I had.. they would turn on a dime. But then again all of their clutches grabbed at completely different points. I automatically re adjust after the first 5 Seconds
Steering looks as good as new
Definitely! Way better then it was with the 35s on it :) but either way it wasn’t too bad

Lol i have an 02 24v 6 speed and yet i still find my self enjoying watching pov videos
Hahah I feel the same way. I watched a ton of videos and then I got this thing a couple days ago and im still on TH-cam every night haha

Most Satisfying driving video I’ve seen, love the sound of the Cummins 😄
the 24v vp44 with a manual is a monsterous sounding engine.
Hell yeah
That 2nd Gen steering tho 😂
Yes they tend to do that haha. Solid front axle truck with a 1,100lb motor. Got some strain hahah
That cold winter air has that turbo singing
The intros a blast 😂

Definitely. This one was a 24 valve
Steering that wheel seems more like a suggestion in that truck
Hit that red nitrous button lollll!!!
Man I was waiting for some exhaust braking!
Haha plenty of exhaust braking in the newer videos. This was way back when I first got the truck
@@RightFootRacing i have. Beautiful lmm duramax ltz loaded, super clean. Trade ya, ha ha, I have a 40ft 16k 5th wheel camper, I need a long bed tow rig
Hell yeah that’s sweet but I’m good thank you.
Just bought one I love it 3500 dully
Hell yeah
How much do they run for?
Casually ripping through gears two fingers on the wheel with a quarter turn of play
Yessa haha the life of a 2nd gen owner
Yessa haha the life of a 2nd gen owner
Steering looks scary haha
I guesss, if you’re easily frightened
Damn I love the sound of that engine. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks 🙏🏻🤟🏻 it is an awesome sounding truck
You need a steering brace. Stops the wander. Mine stays 12 O'clock.
My steering looks like this on camera as well, for some reason it looks bad on camera, but its not in person. Could just be the angle or something. truck sounds great btw
Yeah same. On camera everyone freaks out but I barely notice it in person. And thanks 🙏🏻 lots more content on the way!
I couldn’t deal with living up north with all that rust no way
You’re telling me man. We all definitely don’t enjoy it
What intake are you running? That turbo sounds sweet!
Back then was a really crappy stock clogged o Reilly filter that was like 3 inches long haha
My uncle has one with 500hp, these things can stomp the hell out of any mustang

What’s your camera setup for the interior video?
Just a tripod in the back seat with some clothing around it to keep it supported haha
@@RightFootRacing Hahaha nice! It’s the exact POV I’m wanting. What camera is it?
It gets the job done hahah and it’s an iPhone 12 Pro
sounds exactly like a semi
Hell yeah that’s the goal! Tons of new content on the way!
