I think the scariest thing about this, y'all, is how well they nailed every. single. one. I am totally the monogram gal. Even my horse riding helmet is monogrammed.
Given your comment please answer the monogram confusion for me. What happens if someone has a hyphenated surname or first name (Mary-Jane for example) and what happens if you have two middle names?
But it keeps my drinks cold for 2 days! It doesn't matter that I'll only ever use it in my backyard even though I have a 2nd fridge in the back of the house just for drinks for when we're bbqing

I was so proud of myself the first time I backed in. It was a perfect first run back up in my freshman year if college. I came back after to class only to find a ticket in my car for “pulling through”. Ridiculous since I had backed up to a curb!
Amy Tarvin I remember when I was learning to drive I backed in for the first time and I got it perfect so I did the only logical thing a person does when they own a truck and park it perfectly I jumped out and took a photo to show all my friends that I can park better then them
Psht, typical fashion commentators. They _completely_ missed the venting on Matt's shirt as he power-flexed during the pickup back-up. True Southerners know you have to have vents for comfort during those brutal humid summer days.
One time, at Costco, it was apparently National Pajamas & Slippers Day or something because literally everyone in there was dressed to go to bed. But not in a sexy way. Rather, in a "I've had a hard week and plan to spend the entire weekend sleeping" kind of way. Which was odd, because it was a Monday. Sometimes I think the patrons of Costco call each other in advance so they can decide on a theme. The most memorable was the Invasion of Pregnant Ladies. You couldn't find an aisle without at least one very pregnant lady in it. They were everywhere.
I can't wear any of that without hearing my granny in my head saying " don't go out like that you don't know who you'll meet out at the wallmart" I love my granny . She's not wrong I see a lot of my family out and about at the kroger or wallmart. Y'all should do church fashion I just remember being yelled at a lot about what was church acceptable jean's are never it not even at late night gathering's.
I remember when I was younger and we moved houses, my mom decided to try a new church that was closer by. We walked in and saw multiple people wearing jeans and I could see the look in my mom and grandma's face. 😂 We never went back there.
Nowadays, I don't think it is nearly as looked down upon if you come in wearing jeans ,haha, but I understand what you mean! When I was growing up, my mother told me to wear dress pants to church.
Oh good lord you were never even allowed to considered jeans. That was blasphemous. Grandma and Grandpa would roll over in their graves and they weren't even dead yet.
This once again proves Matt and me are brothers from another mother. That's my exact wardrobe when not at work. I do all my clothes shopping at Academy Sports & Outdoors. Lol
I appreciate that they called out her high water pants. I'm over 60 and apparently it's the law down here that you own at least one pair of these. Preferably with a design near the hem.
Reminds me of this funny story that happened to me with tattoos. My mom is pretty against tattoos and while I don't mind them, I don't like the idea of something being permanent on my body and I'm not gonna argue with my mom over something as trivial as body ink (Hell, she even had to convince me for like 2 weeks to get my ears pierced when I was 8). So to get around it, my aunt and grandma got me a really dope temporary tattooing kit for my nineteenth birthday :).The first time I tried it, I gave myself a rose tattoo on my forearm, and it stayed fresh until I went to church one Sunday. This was in mid-May so I was wearing a t-shirt, and across the pews from us were our family friends who had young kids who were staring in almost awe at this new mid-sized vibrant red-and-green rose temporary tattoo on my arm :D which not to brag looked real from a distance. (When we met up with them once church was over, I told them it was fake and about the kit). My mom was a bit mortified at first, but now when we look back on it we just laugh.
"Wednesday night at church" reminded me of the time before Wal-Mart came to town (this was before your grannies were born) when businesses in town would close on Wednesday afternoon so's folks could get ready for church. This was also before Burger King, McD, KFC, Pizza Hut and all the other marvels of modern civilization. And there were Blue Laws: no businesses were ALLOWED to be open on Sunday. A dog could take a lengthy nap on the road through the town square without worrying about needing to move for traffic.
Ah, the Blue law... 💙 Wow! I remember the roped off sections on Sunday at um...Gibsons ?🤔 in Dallas. Thanks for the memories. I totally forgot about that.
My husband remembers that. One local business did actually open their business on Sunday. The store manager told the following employees that if they didn't show for work Sunday, that they would be fired. That guy had stayed open till about 11 AM when police came in, arrested him and closed the store for that day. The employees working that day were not arrested (only that store manager) and got to keep their jobs btw.
This episode reminds me of a good friend who was involved in a minor auto accident after taking her kids to school...she was wearing slippers that looked like bear paws, Eeyore print pajama/stretchy pants and a sparkly unicorn tee shirt (without a bra)...the cop who investigated the accident knew her from church 🤣... But I’ve seen worse in Walmart!
Lol, that's one of my greatest fears, a wreck on the way home from school, sporting my pj's and ratty hair! Not great enough to make me actually get dressed, cuz, hey, I drop her off at 6:45. Way too early for real clothes.
this is so true. my grandma dressed the same way the granny did. and my daughter dresses in the oversized hoodie top with small shorts. I would love a pair of shorts with lots of pockets.
"Granny is ready for a night out on the town, paying all those bills in person" LOLL.
Let's hope she doesn't forget her checkbook.
That coupon thing was harsh. I hate not getting the proper discounts.

So true. I am the one with all the pockets finished off with some sort of small tactical style backpack.

Have you seen the video about monograms gone bad? (such as Alicia Sandra Smith)
I swear someone cloned that first guy and filled my town with copies of him.
😄
Ugh,, same. All of Colorado is infected, also with Vineyard Vines shirts :')
Ikr. Everywhere I see them

So true. Yard shoes are always retired tennis shoes.
My dad has grass cutting shoes, which are his worn out tennis shoes.
There needs to be something on southern hairstyles.
Oh yes!!
Please and thank you! And I would NOT be offended if you show black hairstyles at ALL!
*yes! Starring Luke. Shirtless*
Ya!😁

as a Chick Fil A employee, it is alarming how I have seen ALL of these people in line at one point or another.
you have a front row seat at a southern fashion show every day
And it was you're pleasure to see em.
Do you mean you've seen each of them at different times or do you mean at one point you looked and all of them were in the line?

Kimberly G. Isn’t it brutally humid about 350 days of the year? At least according to this channel!
And the mesh trucker hats too. (And the muscle shirts too. Are they still a thing or was that during the mullet era?)
Not just Walmart any more. During a recent cold snap, I saw a girl at Target dressed for Snowmageddon but also wearing flip flops.

You can only wear that outfit to school if you play sports. If you don't, you'll get dress-coded.
Source: I did not play sports
It so true...
Back in the 70's no hot pants to school except on dress up day, lol! Mine was yellow satin with a strawberry patch on the right side front, WOW!
"paying all those bills in person" my favorite because this is very much granny!
“He’s using a bottle opened on a twist off” 😂
It works a lot better than trying to twist off a non-threaded cap.
I thought he was gonna do a hand bottle-opener move like John Hamm's character did in _Keeping Up With The Joneses_ but got his hand cut up.
"They're sewn together"
& then the comment about JCP was so spot on 😂
This was a particularly cheesy episode, but also 100% accurate.
