You did it wrong , hold the brake then press and hold gas pedal, I know sounds scary like your just gonna light up the tires but trust me it will just raise the rpm to what ever setting you have it. It will only hold it about 5 seconds then cancel if you don’t reales the brake once your ready to launch.

Driver in my 1320 i dont even bother with that screen. I press drag mode and scroll on steering wheel to 1/8 or 1/4 timer ,pull back both pedals mash brakes and full throttle, release brake and 1 pedal. When youre ready to launch release last pedal.

Hold brake pedal to the floor, quick floor the gas pedal fully to the floor, while still holding both pedals full down your car will hold. Then release and enjoy my brother

I mean c'mon.... it's a feature that comes with the vehicle. He probably doesn't "need" it to launch. Just testing the feature smh.

@@bestofbothworldz4116 how true, guys forget how even the 392 has only 485hp (only... Jeez). The tires were much to thin to handle 485hp, then we see that the hellcat adds 200+hp, then hellcat redeye adds 300+hp which further decreased traction out of the hole. The meat of the redeye 305/35 tires help tremendously but both hellcats still spins them even with the launch and traction control. After having my '15 SRT 392 Challenger that was a nightmare from 14 days it began to fall apart, it ate 2 rear ends so fyi change the dif lube often. My current daily driver is a slightly modified '17 ZL1 Camaro with 305/30 Goodyear Supercar 3 rear tires and 285/30s in the front and these have serious slippage as well, the extra 120hp from the mods almost slows the acceleration because of it, it's gotta be modulated by my foot as just mashing it don't work. With practice however the extra power is so awesome, hell the stock 650hp ZL1 ain't no slouch either, believe me. There's a much stickier tire from Nitto but I got only 6000 miles out of them. In Florida the roads are always hot so when I line lock and heat them up there's noticeably better grip but it still spins. I don't know if a 305/30 would even fit on the hellcat or even on the 392 but a Nitto tire may give you better crip. But what ever you do just drive safe and stay on the lube changes with the diff cause once it starts moaning and groaning its all over, I change it every 4th oil change 20000 miles or every 3rd oil change or 15000 miles when running the 1/4 mile at the track.

Bro you literally have to smash the gas pedal to the metal full at once not gradually with brake fully engaged and you’ll see a huge difference!! ( you get better 0-60 times if you launch you car not in launch control and traction off, bring the rpms up to about 1.5-2.5k rpms and ur gone!)
