    You’re God sent. Thank you for this video so helpful. My teacher went over this in like five minutes and expects us to identify what type of epithelial tissues we are looking on a slide for our test. So I’m teaching myself with this video.

    Thank you so much for helping me properly learn this after being so confused in lecture! I love that you teach it so simply, but not too simple to the point where I’m not learning as in depth as I need to. And also it doesn’t make me feel stupid lol. And thank you for letting me laugh while learning a topic that most people don’t laugh about!

    Thank you so much to synthetised all that. I figure out that medecine explained in english is far way more understanable than in french that tends to overcomplicated certains notions already pretty tricky to learn.

    17:11 My histology teacher likes using the term Airway Epithelium and reserves Respiratory Epithelium for the parts where gas is exchanged.

    • @TheNotedAnatomist
      @TheNotedAnatomist  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is a challenging (…frustrating) part of science isn’t it? So many names and sometimes they overlap. The more common description of “respiratory epithelium” is the pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium that lines the trachea and proximal bronchi. Though I have heard pulmonologists refer to the simple squamous epithelial cells (type 1 pneumocytes) as respiratory epithelium because that is where respiration occurs. Good times :)
