I feel like this channel was created specifically for me. The fact that you give the etymology of words is absolutely amazing, i cannot learn without knowing where the words come from. I cannot thank you enough
ı am a first-year med student and after I saw all of those things in the classroom I was terrified and honestly couldnt remember most of them the next day. Now after watching your video ı can say ı understand at least 70 percent. Thank you for that

i have watched countless videos trying to understand bone markings and nothing has made sense to me. not even my professor could explain it this well. thank you for taking the time to do landmarks of the entire body
I can't thank you enough for this video. I'm in a condensed A&P 1 and 2 course, and we were given 2 days to learn all of the cranial bone anatomy, to fill in without a word bank. I'm having less of a panic attack now. You've just saved my grade!
I don’t know if someone is commented on this but I love how you go into depth about the roots of each word and what they mean so even if you don’t know where a bone is, you can have a pretty good guess based off what it’s name means
You revised my Human Anatomy knowledge after 38 Years. I was Assistant Professor in Human Anatomy in B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India. Thanks, I love it. You are great.
I can’t agree more. I have felt it tremendously difficult to get a clear picture of cranial structure until I saw this video! This is so professional explanation but in such a simple way to let me as a total amateur to understand! Thanks again bro!
To be honest, I have NOT seen a channel that could explain in amplitude and point by point for me to understand, until I found this channel!! You’re teaching is PERFECTION! I dnt see anybody not understanding what you explain. Thank you!!!!
Dear person who made this video, thank you. This video was as perfect as it gets. As a student radiographer, this was very helpful, and I have no doubts I will be watching it multiple times. Gotta make sure I get it all as right as I can ;-) Have a lovely day
Hey there, I am prelearning to be a Rad Tech student next year. how was your A&P class? do we need to commit all of the small details to memory for a good grade?
I had my Anatomy exam back in 1995. I'm sitting for a post grad degree which requires good knowledge of anatomy for the SBA portion of the test. Wish we had these videos back in med school but all we had was a huge GRAY book....This is gold!
I have my exam in an hour and I have to study the muscles of the body and other too but just wanted to say this video is awesome although I had to watch it a few times to learn it completely.
Three things that are in desperate need in many other styles of teaching anatomy that you deliver in abundance. 1 -- always reminding of context, where is this again, zoom out just a bit now and then. 2 -- quick mentions of the Latin meanings. I don't know why people don't do this more, it sticks more than one would expect. 3 -- not giving us an impressive avalanche of anatomic navigation terms as fast as possible. When teachers say "and just inferioanterolaterallynorthbynorthwest to that is" as fast as they can I have to stop the lecture, and that ends up accumulating to at least double the time. It's nice to gain fluency in the jargon, but just say "and next to that" once in a while like you do. So thank you very much.
The best lecture on skulls on the internet I have ever seen. it's just like not at all boring, in fact, it's like me watching the avenger's end game, it keeps on getting interesting every minute. thanks a lot, sir.
I did not feel satisfied in my endeavor to understand the skull for the purpose of drawing with what was shown to me thus far in anatomy for artists´ books. I feel that to really get a feeling for the skull you must know its many intricate parts and the purpose for their existence. This knowledge that is much deeper than the surface helps me UNDERSTAND that surface because now I know what to FEEL for when drawing it in different angles, since I have a much more 3D map in my head now that I can come back to and study when drawing the skull. Thank you very much. If I ever make any sort of tutorial about the skull, I will be glad to cite this video.
First year med student here... I'm struggling with actually understanding anatomy via online schooling... This was PERFECT. Thank you so much! Edit: I had to point out the sound effects you made with every suture LMAO made my day !!
You are a life saver. My teachers in med school "taught" this too but I understood nothing and felt like I have to resort to rote memorization to pass the exam. However, when you explained it using different pictures to show different perspectives showing the course of the nerves through the foramina, I immediately understood it. I'm thinking maybe I am not dumb, maybe my teachers are just ineffective at teaching. I have learned more from you than from my teachers. Thank you!
i understand that is medical in nature but this is also amazing for artists to understand the structures which make up the forms which we take for granted
Thank Dr Morton. I used your video to read anatomy for my Medical Radiographer practice exam Australia and I passed with a good grade. You are the best anatomy teacher I have met. Thank u 🙏 🙏 🙏
This was clearly the best teaching done by anyone so far. I appreciate all your strategies to memorize, which you shared with us. You should be a mentor for other teachers as well. I had a lot fun while learning and this has to be the way of teaching all around the world. Thank you again...
Thank god for your videos! My current anatomy teacher doesn't hold a flame to how you explain things. Just found your page and I'm hoping I can ace my 1st semester of a&p with your help! Keep up the great work :)
Hello from Russia! I'm a student of dentistry faculty at the First Moscow State Medical University and I have an anatomy exam next week. Your videos are helping me a lot, even though they are in English) So, thank you very much for your work!
You’re the man! I genuine appreciate the time spent in making this. Including all types of visuals and different angles as well as Latin origins .. this was very helpful. Great voice too!
As a 1st year medical student, you definitely motivated me to learn anatomy. Wish I had you as anatomy professor instead of the current one... Thank you
Had to watch this about 100 times, given we had to know every bone within 5-7days..You helped me out so much..felt like I was having a panic attack at first
my teacher didn't explain what any of the words meant, so memorizing a bunch of nonsense words felt impossible. this has helped me tremendously, thank you!!
Thank you! It's been so long and I have to retake my radiology exam, I forgot what and exactly where the anatomy is. You mad it fun and interesting and I am happy to watch more of your videos. So, informative!
i'm first-year dental student. Craniel cavity was difficult and incomprehensible to me 😢😢 But after this video it became easier and more enjoyable🎉🎉. Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Loved from egypt 🇪🇬❤
I am taking a forensic anthropology class and we have a lab practical where part of it is identifying fragments of bone and smaller bones, it feels like this video is definitely going to help with identifying landmarks for different skull and facial bones. thank you so much!!!
I'm so glad I found you, your videos are a godsend! You are a phenomenal teacher, thank you, I love your humor and ability to explain context and the reasons for things.
I'm pre-studying for NP school - thank you so much for these videos; especially the explanation of the latin roots. I'm a context learner so your videos are gold.
I am prelearning also for Rad Tech next year. Did you start your pre-reqs for Nursing? how was your A&P class? do we need to commit all of the small details to memory for a good grade?
You are so underrated omg! The way you showed nerves, arteries, even glands and other facial structures while discussing the foramina really helped visualize and orientate everything!!! This video was such a life saver, esp for someone like me who has an awful spatial sense and can't visualize things well 😭😭
I love your explanation so much! Right now my anatomy class is online so it is hard to get the verbal explanations that help me learn. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for your helpful and great videos! we all struggle with some classes in our health studies, but you Dr. Morton make it easier to understand subjects/topics!! I definitely recommend this channel to my med student friends!
OH my goodness!!! You were awesome!!! I feel exhausted after my lab lecture! I still have energy to study.. You were so clear and animated I really got the grasped of the skull.. Thank you so much!!!
This is the BEST video I have found to describe the skull is there a comprehensive workbook for this video that I can download or purchase as a reference. I'm so glad I came across this it all makes things so much easier to understand. Thank you
You have come in clutch! Guaranteed 5 questions on the skull tomorrow for my spotter exam (thanks COVID). Great video. Your subtle humor made the anatomy very engaging
OMG What a brilliant explanation sir. I am really really grateful for what you are doing and even understanding the mindset of medical students and the problems they are facing. Because many lecturers forget to think about their students honestly.
Your newer videos are so much more entertaining and better ( the latin/greek root words) . I can not thank you enough for doing this. Please keep it coming.
Dr. Decker at Georgia Tech recommended your channel for some helpful videos to review the content and I have to say, this one is definitely a must-view before our first lab practical. Thank you so much for the amazing educational content!
