Anybody can explain these basic concepts, but it takes a special person like you to teach them to where they are comprehensive and relatable. Many thanks.

This video is incredible. I haven’t had A&P since high school 7 years ago and am taking college level A&P this semester. I vaguely remember things from high school, and was quite overwhelmed with my first anatomy lesson. This is the best video in terms of describing this beginning information and I loved the practice questions included! Thank you, The Noted Anatomist.

I'm not even close to being a medical student, yet STILL can not stop watching your videos - I have gone through almost all on this channel ! The great presentation makes the material at least accessible with just a bit of extra research - just amazing !

It really helped me to understand the planes!!!
Sagittal- if you cut the bread lengthwise: you have a right and left portions (mid sagittal=perfectly cut loaf in he middle; para-sagittal= as if not quite professional would cut it not exactly in he middle, a para-professional). Coronal: subway sandwich: you have a floppy top and bottom. Axial: you cut your bread regular way. When it comes to Proximal and Distal= we are talking about limbs (think superior and inferior compare to the trunk of the body)

    • @TheNotedAnatomist
