Coyote swaps have been a thing for a while now, it amazes me at the Large # of Aftermarket stuff that needs modified or "massaged" to work. Is it to much to ask for someone to offer a complete conversion kit where EVERYTHING works right out of the box ?!?! There's literally K-Member & Header ect manufactures that say they'll work with such and such, yet don't........
Yeah I know! So many variables. That’s partly why I am doing this series. I will recap my learning and overview at the end to hopefully help others not waist time and money
Awesome build looking forward to seeing you pulling the knot out of them boties and the horns off them mopars l love it Chevy killer forever baby and all the rest good luck
@@felipeperdomo7106 it’s a gen 2 motor. They are referring to the IMRC actuators. For off road applications these are locked out. Just as they are on my gen2. Look up IMRC lockout
Thanks for making these videos! Question for ya. So I’ve been a Fox since I started driving 24 years ago. I was looking into these headers. From 79-04 the same engine/trans/K member setup bolts in and works. I have a 95 I’m doing the same swap in. I’ve emailed the company and others asking why these headers would not work with SNs. Everyone I contacted, including people on here either says no, or I don’t get an answer. So you have any thoughts on it?
@@417fox I feel the same way. It’s just the thought of spending the coin to spin the wheel. This is my first cammer engine. If you keep making videos I’ll be watching.
Great video! Good tip on using the bolts for the bottom side.
Love the content. I also am in the middle of a coyote swap. Do you have an H or X pipe in mind? Custom or off the shelf
I am going to try and modify my current exhaust to fit. It’s 2.5” H pipe and Magnaflows

With MMS K-member…. ARH with standard transmission are supposed to work without modification….. I will let you know as I am not there yet!
Hot Rodding has always been like this in my experience.
Does the gen 2 starter work with these headers and a 6r80 as well? My gen 1 starter is touching the headers
Thanks for sharing sir....
Haha! Told you! Caleb pointed me in that direction also.
Know anyone looking for a slightly used set of Pypes headers? 🤣🤦🏻♂️

Do you think the heat that close to the starter is gonna be an issue?
What year is your coyote? Speed Engineering site says won’t work with gen2/3

I can’t be for certain but I see zero reasons why they wouldn’t work on a SN car.

Looking good. One can spend more than that on pushrod Fox headers
Great video!!!!
Which transmission are you using?

What brand is the k member?
Any issues clearing steering shaft??
I have seen them completely installed and no issues there. Haven’t gotten that far on mine
@@417fox nice. I’m doing a gen 1 swap right now, I’ll be posting update on my channel
Maybe 🤔 go with a hydraulic clutch
lol China copies it, customer does r&d. Shocked no one every did the push rod headers beside a copy of the crappy headman longtubes.
Better open up larger for all that selling out shill
Say huh
