How to connect Razer DeathAdder Essential to your computer, Razer Synapse 3.0 settings
Connect your Razer Deathadder Essential to your computer / laptop.
Download and install Razer Synapse 3.0.
Run the program.
It will auto-detect your mouse and from there you can configure all the settings, including the light, keybinds and DPI (performance)
Sadly, this mouse doesn't have a Chroma option, it has only the standard green light.

Hi, do you know whether the dpi, polling rate and key bind settings are saved in the mouse? Or is Synapse required all the time? I want to buy this mouse for office use, and I can't install Synapse on my office computer. If I setup the key binds and dpi at home, will they remain the same when I plug the mouse to the office PC without Synapse?
Hey, as far as I know the mouse will run with the latest settings set in synapse. Try to ask on reddit.com/r/razer to be sure.
yo when you connect the mouse to your computer it will automaticly show you a screen to install the synapse and it wont save when you do it in another pc

No, it works just fine, but buy it only if you have big hands, otherwise it will not be comfortable.

when i change the colour of my mouse on my laptop to white i save and unplug it then plug it back into my xbox it goes back to flashing random colours again, any help?
It is normal, the colors are saved in the razer synapse program, not in the mouse. This mouse doesn't have an internal memory.

Hey, not 100% sure but my guess it's 1800 dpi with 1000 polling rate.
I had read many reviews on Amazon. Some reviews are saying this mouse is very good and it can drag click and some are saying that this is fake and it had supposed to come with braided USB and also some are not able to connect the mouse with the software. So I just wanted to know that, if I got a fake razer mouse, then can I drag click on it?
Actually the Deathadder Essential has braided cable, and it can drag click (I think every mouse can do that), so you press left click, keep it pressed and then click on something?

There r many sellers who sell fake razer products at low cost in Amazon. The original razer mouse is not available in Amazon . Fake razer mouse is made from cheap quality and idk whether a fake razer mouse can register high cps. But thanks for telling :D
@@TheBassLiner Yes, there are tons of fake copied Razer products, but you should report to Amazon as selling fake devices on that website I'm pretty sure is not allowed.

Hey, I think it is 1800dpi and 1000 polling rate.
@@PSVICE if i put the dpi down to 800 on pc and get the mouse back to console will i have 800dpi still on console or it will reset?
@@SPY-wc2bn It will reset as the settings are on the software installed on the pc, but you can easily just use it without any settings, I think on your console it will always work with the default dpi.

@@SPY-wc2bn You can't on the Deathadder but you can on other razer mouses, search on google for "How to manually change the DPI Sensitivity on a Razer mouse ".
i cant find my razer deathadder essential 3.5G Black on neither the synapse 2.0 or 3.0. it doesn't seem to recognize the device inspite of reinstalling the synapse and restarting my system multiple times. Can you PLEASE HELP!!
Ask for help on reddit.com/r/razer, they will ask for the serial number that is on the back of the mouse and tell you exactly what the problem is.
If you have the old one with blue lights, then that should work only with synapse 2.0. It is very old, 2010 I think.

No, they don't have such thing in their software. Maybe you need a custom program for that.

The Deathadder essential has only green.
If you have other model, install the program called "Razer Synapse" and you can change the color from there.

Hey, I hope that you have windows 10 or 11.
The steps would be: download razer synapse 3.0.
Install it, then plugin the mouse, it should be detected and appear in the list.
If still doesn't appear, in the Windows search bar, type "device manager". Open that program and check if you see that the mouse is not installed correctly (any items with exclamation mark)
There will be an option to update the driver.

Hey, you should be able from Razer Synapse to rebind the side buttons for dpi settings.

You can try a few things, plug the mouse in a different usb port, update or reinstall synapse. Check from control panel device manager if the mouse appears right, or there are issues with the driver. It could be because of your operating system, if it's too old.
Bro, Synapse is not detecting my DA Essential Mouse.
Check from Synapse if any update is needed. Or just reinstall it. Or plug the mouse in a different port.

@@PSVICE Also, the driver for the mouse in Device Manager said “HID-Complaint Mouse” instead of Razer Deathadder.
@@homeixgx I have the same "Hid complaint mouse", but also it lists all my razer peripherals under it.
Usually they also have support on reddit/r/razer

Seems like a serious issue if it's stuck, maybe update synapse, plug the mouse on a different port.
If still does the same, return it to warranty or get a new one.

Hey, there is an option called "Calibration" in Razer Synapse, use it.
Also, you can tweak some settings from Windows, search "mouse options" and increase the DPI from there a bit.

Hey, I don't own that mouse model but I'm pretty sure it's the same as for DeathAdder. Same steps, same settings. The Razer Synapse program works the same for all the Razer mouses :)

Hey, yes, Synapse should always run. It consumes little RAM so it should not bother you.

Bro is there any way to make it work like a regular mouse? With the left click? For some reason my left click is greyed out and it will not let me use it what so ever.
Hey, left click is grayed for all the mouses, it's not an issue.
The idea is that you cannot reconfigure left click, it will always stay left click.

Hey, you can set it to 400, even 100, but I think it's very low.
I use it at 1800 dpi and 1000 polling rate and it works for me in gaming and office.

For this model no, it will not save the settings. I read that Razer Viper and Mamba have onboard memory which will save the settings.
However, the default 1800 dpi is enough for most users.

Hey, there is, you can keybind a mouse button to the "Sensitive Stage Down" or "Up",
Go from Synapse to "Customize", "Sensitivity".

Do you see your mouse in the list at all? Seems like a connection issue. Maybe try to uninstall/install back.

Calibration is usually in the last tab when you click on the mouse from Razer Synapse.

Yes, you can do that for example I use delete on one of my mouse buttons.

It should work, the lowest I think is 100 dpi.

Nope, you can't.

For the Deathadder essential, you should have lights and dpi, to turn of the lights and adjust the dpi.
Install synapse 3.0, and plug in the mouse, it should appear in the program. Then click on the mouse, and you should see these options.

how do i install 2.0 Legacy devices
For old devices you need razer synapse 2.0, I still use it today for my keyboard and still works. You can have both 2.0 and 3.0 running at the same time.

Nothing special, install razer synapse and connect the mouse. If it has a normal Windows it should work.

You can use the mouse, but the settings will not be saved and stored on it. They can be used only on a computer, trough the synapse program.

You can install Synapse 2.0 and then 3.0, maybe you get lucky and one detects it.
Usually on Windows 10 latest version, you should have no issues.
Plug in another usb slot maybe.
If it still doesn't work, you can ask on reddit.com/r/razer, they got support there.

@@Abhiram07 There isn't much to customize on the Deathadder, the stock dpi is ok, I think it's 1800 and you can change it from windows settings anyway. And you can rebind the side buttons to do something else. Other than that there is nothing unless you don't want to see the green lights.

You mean a keybind for double click? You can make a macro for it from Razer Synapse, I used to play diablo 3 only with the mouse, without even clicking, just moving.

Hey, you can, it has a fourth tab in Razer Synapse called "Calibration", just for that.

The steps are: install Razer Synapse 3.0, connect the Razer Deathadder mouse, you should see it in the list.
From the list, when you click on it, you should see tabs with customizations, performance, lightning, calibration etc.

On the Essential version it's only green. You need Deathadder Elite or V2, look on the box it should say "Chroma".

Hey, not much, you can install Razer Synapse 2.0 and hope it will detect the mouse, but most likely it will not. You will have to update to Windows 10.
Or you can use the mouse as it is, it will still work, the customization options for this model are not that important.

It works, but you can only use it as a normal mouse, you can't keybind the buttons.
