Jonna send this video. Send this video with you talking to camera, just the bit you telling us. Send it to the papers. Send it to huffing ton post in America. Send it to every high powered contact you have. Show them your channel. Believe. Maybe you are there to save the land. Don't give up. Don't think you don't have enough power. The power of your heart can move mountains. Fight for your trees girl. Fight for your lake, send this video to anyone you can think of who is in the media. Get on the radio stations. You are stronger than you think. Hold the vision of your dream home in your heart. Root. Ground. Drive your staff into the ground and call the wild with your kiln ing. It's time to draw on your spiritual and nature powers. You arrived 7 years ago for a reason. You can do this, if you believe. Nature healed you, now it's your turn. Time to draw on earth power, DM me if you want to talk this through. Believe with your whole heart, you are more powerful than you think. It's time to call forth the forest powers, the northern light powers. Create a kulning and release it with every strength you have. We will all hold the vision for that gorgeous place to remain untouched. We have all been healed by that place. Call forth the forest girl. The unseen power of the earth is stronger than that company. Like you said, it's not about you, it's about nature. Do it for your nature family. We will all hold the vision for you and the forest and the animals xx

My wife and I just finished watching your video, Jonna. It brought tears to our eyes. We know what you and Johan are going through. We live in Northern Maine, which is almost identical in climate to where you live. We purchased some land in an area called "Mount Chase". We found out that a company from Canada bought nearly 7,000 acres of land, including one of our mountains. They intend to start drilling into the mountain, and using TOXIC chemicals to mine the ore! This isn't even legal, but they are giving money to local government officials, to look the other way.
We also deal with the logging industry here. The biggest company is called "Irving", and they love to come into an area and saw down every tree, and wreck the land with their heavy equipment. Then they spray an Herbicide (glyphosate) onto what is left of the forest, so that it kills most of the plants except for the trees which they replant. This has caused the death of much of the wildlife here.
Please fight this wind turbine industry. We have some of them in our area, here in Northern Maine. We will be praying for you and Johan to make the right decision.

I am currently studying energy engineering for my master's degree and have completed modules focused on renewable energy, wind turbines included. As part of the studies we are taught the physics, sustainability (economic, environmental and social), the benefits and impacts of wind turbines, how to implement them and why. My goal all along was to be involved in the renewable energy transition for the good of the environment and human health (when compared to our current fossil fuel addiction).
What bothered me is that we are taught about NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard), where local people are seen to obstruct projects against what is perceived to be the greater good, and that local people are an obstacle that is to be navigated for the benefit of society as a whole. To me it feels as though we are all taught, Wind turbines are better for the environment than fossil fuels, can be very profitable and serve society as a whole, so they are therefore the best solution to most problems.
I want to thank you for highlighting what real people in these situations actually feel and the impact that this energy transition is having on real people, you have given me a real moment of pause. I got to see many of your videos first and so have fallen in love with the nature that you live in, now I am also upset that your home could be destroyed, seems hypocritical for me to want to help fix nature by destroying nature.
Videos like this need to be seen, otherwise budding engineers such as myself could end up with the wrong impression that what they are doing is always the right thing to do, yes wind turbines have their place in solving the climate change crisis and I stand by that, but it does not have to be there. This is what happens when business and profit takes over, and real people and nature are cast aside.
I have signed the petition and support you.

I recently found this channel but I can tell she is genuine, and wonderful. This video was hard to watch because I could feel her pain. Did you not?
You say they should continue with the project because its "only 10 people". I say you are wrong. Now imagine one of those people was you. It was your family and closest friends. Would you want to live in constant fear of if you can even survive?
What if an oil company comes to you tomorrow and says "we found an oil deposit under your house. you and your entire neighborhood have to leave"? Would you let them because its "only a neighborhood"? Only 10-20 people would have to leave. No big deal right?
I don't think youd just leave. After all, it's your house. It's where you live. Would you give that up?
Like she said, she lives there for only one reason and this would tear it away from her. Would you be able to live if the one biggest thing you care about was torn away from you? I know I wouldnt be able to
All I ask is you think about this and have a good day :)

The forest of my heart has been cut down too. Last week I went for a walk, I felt happy because it was the first time in a very long moment, and then, it was just gone. The fairy's path, the land of the skies, the mushrooms circle - all disappeared. I stopped breathing for a moment. People don't realize how painful it is to lose a place that we loved so much. Peculiarly a place like a forest, where we know that we were not alone because we could hear the spirits and the whispers of the trees, and the animals, as we know that they were watching us. That all of this was their home. It feels like losing a part of our heart.

Sad yes, but no untouched forest looks like that. Most if not all the trees in the shoot have been replanted at some point. About some 50+ (depending on the climatezone) odd years and they will cut them again. She is walking in modern forest not an ancient and untouched wilderness. It's a cycle of planting and cutting and roughly about 9% of Sweden's forests are protected areas and have a more or less guaranteed natural cycle of life by law. Yep that's just boring me, but man those are beautiful shots of nature and the sad contrasts of industry..

@@richardk6043 True. If you don't pollute one medium (air, soil, water, landscape), you end up polluting another medium... But we can't live without electric power nowadays. And what I love about this couple, Jonna and Johan, is that they're not radical ecologists. They still use an internal-combustion engine in their car and all new technologies and devices produced in very polluting factories. Which means that we can't give up everything and live as some Amish communities, so we need to produce more and more power...

@@richardk6043 I agree. But I didn't know about chill climates impact on battery life. Are you sure about that? I thought that chill climates cooled the batteries and improved their efficiency and life.
Internal-combustion engines also work better in chill climates because air density is higher and they're able to output more power (or the same power with a lower fuel consumption).
BTW, do you know that many electric vehicles are being sold in Norway (not so many in Sweden, I reckon)? It's like a paradox because Norway is an important oil producer.

I felt what was good was gonna be taken away. And I cried with you. My children came to ask why I cry and I could only say I feel this woman so deeply. What is done to her and the nature is so wrong words fail to express it. You represent the pureness in all of us. When it is crushed, not appreciated, we are all in danger. This is the way of life, the way of the world today. Too often we hear this same story. I cry with you our angel. I pray the nature wins, there is still time to see a change in the course. I was up 3 hours at night, woke up to think about this. An idea came to me. Maybe it is already in some of these 3000+ comments you have received :) We/world really do care for your cause! So the idea. There are funds and stiftelsen that buy and protect precious land. Your videos show yours is such. Have someone check what these instances are in Sweden, both private and public. If you contact and appeal to the public instance that protects forests that have special value, maybe they feel for this cause in their heart and protect the forest for future generations. Everything is possible. And you are a public figure in Sweden so they might use this case to improve their public profile as "good guys". Here is a snippet of a private organisation that operates in Finland. If you guys need private money to buy the land, I am sure a GoFundMe project would get enough funds. I would love to own a piece of that precious land.

I couldn’t even respond to this at first. I took my dogs for a walk and cried. I grew up in a forest and know it as family. I know your feelings about this all too well. My last house was the first in a neighborhood being built in a forest, so I had to hear the death of the trees all around as other houses were built. It was the most painful thing. I had to move from that house to have a place for my horses but sold to people I knew, so I thought what I had preserved in my space there was safe. I had to return to get mail not long after and was invited inside. When I looked out the back windows to the forest I had left standing as it was without touching it, I saw all the trees chopped off to stumps. They were clearing to put in a pool. I got sick. I left immediately and cried all the way home. Not long after, I went to a yoga retreat and in one of the meditations, she told us to enter and merge with our favorite tree. I knew exactly which one, one from my old house that had been like a wise teacher and a source of comfort for me. Even though she was now gone, I chose her. It took forever, but I was able to finally blend with her. I heard the most loving, older woman’s voice say to me, “Be to others what I have been to you.” Your videos are doing just that. You’re being this loving, wise, comforting presence in the world. You’re being the spirit of the forest. My heart is broken over the forests there. The picture of the sweet, wise beings piled and numbered was almost too much. I can imagine your pain. You’re doing such great work in sharing this message. Maybe the people who don’t understand our connection with the forest can have a glimpse into it’s spirit and presence by seeing the beautiful before pictures and the horrifying after pictures. I’m sending so much energy of healing for the place and for you. I hope more than anything that the wind farm doesn’t go through and that you have answers soon. Much love to you! You mention "corporate interests" but fail to appreciate the fact that businesses cant make money, and cant expand if people stop BUYING their products- YOU the buyer/consumer is who is causing those corporate interests to expand to fill your demands! I am in Australia & have been dedicated to finding solutions for how to live more sustainably on the Earth for many years. In my searching I went to university & studied Health & Environment, I worked for mining oil & gas companies as a Health Specialist, I travelled Australia for 2 years catching camels from the wild as a form of sustainable transportation, and then I worked for local government as an Environmental Officer. My whole journey led me to waste. The solution I found is in our hands. Waste Reduction. By individually reducing single use packaging less trees get cut down, less power is needed, less mines start up. Gosh, I have so much to say on this & it’s also hard to find the words. I too cry for the Earth, rejoice with the Earth & pray that humanity wakes up. I’m at the beginning of my journey of blogging/vlogging, but I too hope to have an impact like you. Jonna, I am so very sorry to hear this news this really is so very sad. If there if one thing that is very evident in the time I have been watching your vlogs it's how you seem as one with the environment and nature around you. The places you show us are truly stunning and the thought of them being destroyed is heartbreaking. I'd like to ask if there is anything people outside of Sweden can do to try and help with this? Is there anyone we can contact or petition to ask them to reconsider destroying this beautiful place? I would me very happy to help. Finally, it is very clear how upsetting this is for you, especially given how long you have been facing this. While I know it is very hard right now please do not let it allow the light inside you to die. My thoughts are with you all.

I feel the same that maybe there could be something to do about this also outside of Sweden :) What could it be? To bring more awareness of these things around the world? To get connected? To get more connected with ourselves and with the light in us and let that light lead our way? To find the solutions together and concentrate on that? Letting all of our feelings be allowed and then letting go of anger and concentrate on building the new kind of world, together?

A lot of others feel as hopeless as you do right now and I cant tell you how much it comforts me to hear that someone else cares as much as I do. Nothing else in this world matters if we lose the nature that our humanity grows from. We are not seperate from the nature we are destroying, but most people seem to have forgotten that. I am crying now and I'm an old man .. I remember the first time I felt sad about the way we humans treat this beautiful Planet was over 35 years ago .. Your video touched my heart in a way that not many things have in the past years .. I deeply deeply share your sadness ...
Firstly thank you for taking the time and courage to share your deepest feelings about what is happening there, and how it impacts your life, the life of the community there .. and also our beautiful Mother Earth!!!
I've lived over 70 years here, I've Shepherding on Scottish hills, and yet I have never lived so close to nature as you, never quite so in-tune as you, but I feel it deeply too ...
I don't have answers .. somewhere I want to believe that there are answers to be found in consciousness, I have recently found hope on a personal level in the work of Mada Dalian .. (only just so I cannot claim transformation of anything, but am truly impressed by her work .. 'The Dalian Healing Method' and 'In Search of the Miraculous' .. maybe you might find some answers there too!?
Thank You, thank You again, for such an honest outpouring of your heart, feelings and sensitivities!!
I applaud everything you do and the way that you do it!!!
May Great Spirit guide you All in these challenging times ❤️💖❤️ 🤗 🙏

    Dear Jonna,
I live in Australia and when I was a little girl there used to be this road through a rainforest that I drove through quite often with my family. It was so magical. One day we drove along and to my horror the entire forest was gone, cut down to make way for a big, ugly highway (or perhaps you call it a motorway). I cried and cried and cried. I thought the people who did this were evil! Now I am an adult and I have heard recently another area in my hometown is to be cleared to make way for houses. The government doesn't care that the koalas live there, or that the trees are so old and tall. Again I have felt the same pain and anger. I cried when I saw that forest in your video gone! For two reasons though, a) because your forest should be there forever and should never be cut down, but also b) because it is so nice to see another human care so much about the earth. For some reason it is so comforting to know there is someone else who feels the same way I do. Thank you so much for being yourself. I know that place where you live, it loves you. x x x

Hello Jonna. I’m from Kazakhstan. It’s in the south of Siberia. We do have very cold winters (-40 C) and very hot summers (+40 C). Climate is very harsh to live. So I know how cold winter can be. And we do have lots of open space lands , for hundreds of kilometers where you will not meet any person or houses. You can only hear a wind and beat of the heart. That’s my favorite feeling- silence.
However for a decades our land being polluted by Soviet Russia occupation. They tested a NUCLEAR BOMBDS FOR ALMOST 50!!! Years on our land, and consequences of that can not be discribed with words. Lands are completely inhabitant, nothing grows, no animals. Surrounded lands have hazardous level of radiation. People have highest rate of cancer and genetic uncurable illnesses that lasts for many generations.
They have dehydrated the Aral Sea - biggest lake. which causes a lot of death deseases, and the salt from dried bottom of the sea flies up to the Northern ice and melts them.
Also they built Baikonur - space station, that still being used. It poisons lands and kills wild animals every year...
So I know your pain. I feel deeply hurt for my land. But we cannot do anything because of our politics and government corruption.
So if you can fight and prevent destruction of your land, please do it!
Sweden is one of the most developed and democratic countries in the world.
    You voice can be heard!
Send your petitions to organizations and newspapers, so they will investigate and support you!
From all of my heart I wish you good luck!

Man. I cried. I’m mourning a forest I have never even set a foot into. It’s so hard to be a good person. I am actually from Germany. And it always made me feel good to know that I made the effort to look for a “better” electricity and gas provider. One that only uses “eco electricity” from “alternative energy sources” and also doesn’t use their profits to support atomic or coal energy, but instead uses it to plant trees or invest into new alternative sources. But seeing this video made me realise that there is no good solution. Even wind energy means cutting down forests to build the wind turbine fields there. I’ve seen them in the Baltic Sea. It looks ugly and is really loud. Especially for animals, both under water and in the air. What’s the alternative? I’m sitting here with my phone in my hand, with lights and my heater on. What’s the alternative? I want to save the world, but I also don’t think we can all move to a forest to save the world. It sucks. It’s hard to be a good person. And it’s sad that we humans hurt the environment so much. Thanks for the nice videos you make and the important message you share with them ❤️ Love from Berlin

Why do people never talk about the cultivation of algae? It is copying nature´s own method of catching the solar energy and then transforming it into both oil, "gasoline" and food. And the algae cultivation eats CO2 (if people are interested in that). This is written in Swedish, but the videos in the article are in English.

There's nothing crazy about it all. If you are willing to listen, you hear the spirits of the trees. They balance us, our energy. We are all one. Part of it is measurable. We all have an energetic field. It's measurable. We know how different frequencies interact with each other, they attune to each other. The most stable makes others rise or fall. The trees hold that frequency, like crystals to in all technology. If the trees fall, we fall.

As an Alaskan with Scandinavian bloodlines, I can relate to the indescribable feeling that you are a part of the land. It is as if your lungs breath with the trees and your dreams run with the rivers and your tears fall with the snow and your heart breaks with the ice. I know this feeling.
I am sending you all of the positive energy, blessings, and compassion that I have during this difficult time.

Finally, I found one bubble on the internet crying about the land as much as I am. I grew up in British Columbia, Canada, the most beautiful place in the world (in my opinion). I grew up playing among the trees and creeks and forests there, the smells there are like no other to me. Now climate change is making it warmer in the winter, and the pine beetle isn't dying (usually the cold kills it) and they're eating all the trees as a result, so many of the forests are now brown and dead, and also climate change is causing more fires, and the dead trees act like tinder, and the less forest there is the less water retention, which makes everything dryer, which causes it to catch on fire more - it's a vicious cycle. My home is burning and turning brown and I cry whenever I go there now and see the damage, but I also cry a lot because it's still so heartbreakingly beautiful. It looks a lot like the forests I see in these videos, but even wilder, with more steep steep mountains and plunging river canyons full of jagged rocks and cliffs. It's so beautiful. I feel helpless and full of a rage that cannot be contained. Sometimes I feel like I am the fires, screaming at the people to stop what they're doing. I am so angry at humans, even though I am one, it makes me speechless.

This is so sad... i never comment but I follow you some years ago now. I love your videos. I live in Spain and everything is constructed, we are a lot of people living here, and there is not much of wild nature anymore... but the worst is the tourist massification, which is not very respectful, and it is itself very destructive... i rarely go to the coast because of that reason, it is completely lost... when I see your wonderful videos i am a bit jealous that you can still enjoy the nature around, but I feel so, so thankful to you that you share this secret place with the world, with me, in my little room. is one of the most generous act i have seen, sometimes I wish you are not doing them because i am afraid that people discover it and start to go there too...but i learnt a lesson with you, this is our planet, and it is for all of us to enjoy, but also to protect. All this years seeing your videos made me feel that those landscapes, those woods, the aurora borealis, also belongs to me, as a human being on this planet. I hope you all can stop that company. Dearest, Jonna. This is your most important video ever posted and I wished you had said something sooner. You ARE the voice of nature and so are all of your followers and others who have yet to discover you. Together and from all parts of the world we can fight this. I will sign the petition noted below but there is more that can be done. Turn this video into a PSA, a Public Service Announcement. Create a shorter edit and post on all media formats including a link to the change.org petition below. There should be a Swedish version of what we call in America an Environmental Impact Statement. It is a legal report on how the wind turbines would change and impact the environment forever. Check the company's website as this should be available to the public. That report alone should prove enough negative impact to litigate action against the company in court. Surely there are environmental groups in Sweden that will support this kind of litigation, provide funding and do what must be done. This is not just about Sweden. Changes to pristine nature affects all of us around the world. You are not alone.

Oh... I forgot. Where I live in the southern part of Australia we have some wind turbine farms which are a relatively new thing for us. We have problems with them.
The people who live nearby complain the wind turbines make them feel ill and actually give them illness. I can’t remember the details but I think it’s to do with the low frequency sound the turbines put out.
    The government doesn’t listen.
And people are pushed out of their homelands.
There is little respect for the fragility and uniqueness of nature , or the bond those living on the land have for these special places all over the world.

Have you been organizing? Any way to bring in an environmental agency to see if any endangered species might be affected? Or how about petitions/protests? I’m not sure how it works over there but here in the US sometimes those can work to protect the lands. Is there anything we can do to help? Write letters or call an office or something? Actually, you might have a way to fight back. I've watched many of your videos and I don't remember seeing one where the wind is evident. The snow on the ground also looks untouched. I know of locations in Colorado and California (USA) that hold wind farms and they're always windy. Anytime snow falls there it is only in snow drifts, 1 to two meter high often, and the trees really don't grow there because the wind prevents it. The trees only get a meter or two tall and they're bent over. They look nothing like what I see in your videos. Investors, and politicians may reject the farm based on the fact that the area is unsuitable. If they invested millions of krona in a wind farm and there's no wind, that would be considered fraud - a *VERY* effective word when investment is involved, even a suggestion can force a delay. If you can find, among your neighbors or a university, someone willing to do quick suitability study based on average wind strength, you may be able to shut it down. A small wind velocity meter on your farm making hourly recordings of wind strength might even do ($20-$50 on Amazon, 200-500 Kr). Even a one or two month record of wind strength might convince them to double check their investment.

Hey Jonna im from Germany and use eco electricity. My english is so bad. I wanted to comment in a while but haven't done it because of that. So I hope you understand what I want to share with you.
To support such company (eco electricity) is the only opportunity for an environmentally conscious way of living. It is the only way for a human like me to go green and respect nature in this modern world. There's nothing wrong with that. But there is a big problem in this whole modern world. The main aspect is that the modern countries consume too much. It would be possible to get enough eco-electricity, without destroying this beautiful nature. But we all need to stop consuming so much. There could be a different planet if there was another concept of living. Living like the beautiful people of your little town, that consume so less energy. Pure nature around us, such a deep connection.
But nowadays, it is a completely different way of living. Espacially the government needs to stop this concept of growth. Growth that destroys nature, and so us. Us as human beings. Us as nature.
I feel you so much in my heart. My connection to nature is very deep, especially for old time, wild nature and my heart hurts when I see how this world, this concept of living in industrial states destroys the main values of live. The values that you feel, that I feel. The values that are connected to our true being. Our true nature. You can't connect to nature in a very deep way when the small, shaped forests only exists in an economic way. This is not the same as a forest that is undisturbed by significant human activity, forests that lifes since hundreds of years. Well, how sad it is that you can't see the beauty of our universe in most places because the industrial and city light is too intense. It is not about if windparcs are good or bad. It is about the too much needed energy for the way of living for most people, especially the Industrie. I wish that all of you can stay and that you have the possibilities to life in a such a magical village . I study environmental Protection and looking forward to fight for a different way of living. That we don't need this big industrial, this big power anymore. I think about making a TH-cam channel where I can show a different way of living and where I can inspire people to life in this beautiful way. Because too much people are formed by government and have no idea what it feels like to life as a natural being. To life this deep nature connection. I'm getting really sad by watching this video. And have no words how my heart breaks when a magical place, the magical nature will be destroyed by humans. But this is reality in the modern world. If the government and most people aren't ready to consume less and life in another way. All places will be destroyed. And this will be a horrible future. For me personally You are the youtuber with the highest frequency and your videos earth me and thousands of other people. You say that there are bigger problems but even the people in developing countries without hot water are more connected to nature than the modern world. And all in all mostly happier beings because of a different way of living. I feel so connected to you, feel your emotions and share your thoughts. And the reason why is that you live a life so close to nature. You express nature in a human way. We are all one. I feel you. And send you love and Light.

I strongly aggree with you! These are thoughts I have aswell. We are used to luxury, we dont even know what it is without it, but I am pretty sure, that we wont suffer with less consuming. I can sacrifice eating a banana a day, or drinking liters of coffee a week. These are just examples. I guess most people are just thinking about their personal comfort and they make excuses for their lifestyles, but others don't even know the results which are coming with it. We really have to spread knowledge and we have to be strong, leading individuals. I started to be vegetarian for example, because its really bad for the environment and the animals itself. I always spread my thoughts about how bad extreme capitalism is, that it's enslaving the world. Nature and humans itself. People get sick of work and they want to cure themselves with buying stuff, they dont need, but the society is telling them to aswell, most are used to it. I dont even take medicine and I rarely get sick, cold showers are a huge profit aswell, which is another point I tell people all the time. Yes, a lot of people won't understand at first, but sometime they will! The single one is powerful and the single one can create a wave! Sadly, change is rare, because it is risk and it maybe wont end in a lot of profit, thats why governments and companies continue to destroy, but in the end both of these are dependend. They depend on the mass, the folks, so we have the power! A mix of capitalism and more communism would do the world a great favor.
Jonna, I hope all these beautiful comments and ideas are fighting your sadness. The petition is growing fast aswell!
      Love from germany

I'm so sorry this is happening. I used to think the Swedish government was so progressive and forward thinking, how can they let this happen?! It's not quite the same thing you're going through, but I remember feeling this way when I was a younger girl here in Ohio. All the farms and open land, streams, and ponds, where I used to ride my horses were all razed and subdivisions went in over every available inch. Land that I used to throw my head back, drop my reins and fly with my horse.....it's all gone now. All my friends and their horses that I used to ride with moved away to other farms. It was such a loss and was depressing, now when I drive through these built up suburban areas that same sense of sadness comes to me....it never really goes away unfortunately.

Sadly many governments with progressive facade are not willing to stay true to the ideals they preach. While talking about equality and pacifism with great eloquence Obama licensed thousands of drone strikes all across the middle east, with many innocents killed besides the intended targets and a lot of rage and hate built up that will lead into the next generation of terrorism. While talking about respect for nature Trudeau continued energy politics oriented towards fossil fuels in Canada, damaging the environment more than ever.
Same thing now in this case.
