- In this vlog I decided to answer another very common question I often get. I will let you know how me and Johan first met. And tell you all about how we first got to know each other (in the comment section of my blog haha!!).
And of course I will let you see much more of this snowy Wednesday. My first sled-ride this winter, and a glimpse of how the nightsky sometimes looks like here. I promise you, that view is breathtaking, and a big reason to why we love to live here out in nowhere.

Sara: Beware, Sweden is not like this only because they are. Highest suicide rates, people are lost with culture, habits,values, religion and spirituality removed over the generations. And Sweden has the highest border values of microwave radiation, making people stressed, weak and irritable.
Genuinely a good idea, when my anxiety gets out of control I think of Jonna living deep in the woods and it gives me a sense of refuge and control.

So Beautiful! Johan is such a Nordic man, quiet, stable and practical, speaking more with his eyes than his mouth, but you can feel that he is full of fire, depth, and desire. His soul is ancient, a guardian of his queen.

This is a beautiful comment. We have only been married 6 years we had some really dark years and some really beautiful ones. I think the dark years have made us have a lot more compassion and respect for each other. It's a lot deeper now, it's not as shallow.

Different country...different problems....here in India 90% of the population are forced to arranged marriage..... mostly people with zero compatibility get married and it is mostly the woman who suffers throughout her whole life.....just day before yesterday I woke up hearing a very bad news.... a girl committed suicide because of domestic violence by her husband and his family due to the dowry problems.... and this happened in the state of Kerala which is the place with 100% literacy rate in India.... so just imagine the situation of other states..... actually we are educating the women to go for a divorce if they are not comfortable with the marriage....a failed marriage is always better than a suicide...... again, different country from yours.... you can choose your partners.... I am currently walking on fire because I am not married at the age of 26, my parents are forcing me to get married and I don't want to...but who cares, every time I face my relatives with fear.....

I have been in a place of grief and distrust since I lost my husband over 8 years ago. He was my soulmate. We were together 34 years and raised 4 sons.. At 9:05 you talk about how you and Johan met when you both felt like you could be alone for the rest of your lives and how it seems kind of weird. But a lady I really looked up to as a teen was the same when she met her husband.
I think it goes to show that, at least for some, when you feel comfortable with being alone forever you accept that you're a whole person. And people who are whole within themselves are more likely to hold sustainable and lifelong relationships.

While I do live in a small village, it is surrounded by several large suburbs that are part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area (with over 3 million people).
Originally I was from a very rural area in southern West Virginia (in a large valley surrounded by tall ridges and mountains). I was raised there by my maternal grandparents.
(My parents divorced and abandoned me there).
They had a very large farm... a really big garden, orchards (even grew grapes for wine), over a dozen honey bee hives, chickens, turkeys, (even a couple of geese), beef cattle, dairy cows, goats, sheep and a couple of horses... (at one point Gramps had four very large Belgian draft horses).
Alas, those days are long gone. The area has become more and more built up...
(I don't even recognize area anymore... so sad).
A very large mountain that was a HUGE sheep ranch on one side and covered with forests and meadows is now a commercial ski resort (when I was a kid, I camped there all the time... except when I was working cause farm work is very hard)

I have exactly the same feelings and thoughts like you. Watching her videos make me feel everything is possible and that this life, this world, this humanity are such blessings. It is so nice to know that people like Jonna and her husband exist, but it is also reconforting to know that other people also find joy in the simple but most beautiful things in life.

I have been alone almost all my adult life so I like to listen to stories of how people meet because is something I do not understand how it happens and it's ok. I was briefly married, I thought it was wonderful that someone did want to marry me and was happy with what I had to give (love) but it ended up being really bad. I had a daughter so again returned to be myself with her now which is what fills my heart. That was many years ago, and have not tried to meet or date anyone again before I married was alone for many years too. Treasure what you have, it's hard to find someone you can feel good and in sync with. I now feel the best for me is to treasure myself and that I enjoy my company.
I just started watching your videos and I have to say, you are adorable! You both are! When you were talking about how you had both gotten to a point in your life where you had decided it was okay to be alone and then you met each other, it reminded me of my story meeting my husband, that was 31 years ago! 😀 Wish you both the happiest life together!

Unbelievably, I just found your channel today. I wish I had time to binge-watch so that I can get up-to-date but I think there's several years here so it's probably going to take me a little while. The first video was how people in the north do their laundry... That was absolutely hilarious and I knew I needed to see more from the woman that was so committed that she nearly died for the video! I was in a deep dark depression from past emotional and physical trauma, a depression that i could not seem to get out of.
Your videos have really helped me to get out of that. Darkness, these past couple of days. There is nothing profound or life altering in them. You are simply just showing us the extreme joy that comes from the art of simple daily living,
and yet, that is the most profound joy of all.
It reminds us of how we used to be when we were children. When the simple things brought us joy as much as the big things.
You and your husband are beautiful souls, and you are making the world a better place, just by being yourselves!

F M Nothing is "perfect" all looks "idyllic" yet ALL situations cause us to make savrifices one way or another in fact. I have had folks say that I live in a "paradise" setting, life etc-etc ..after 4 Strokes I just feel glad to see every day and be able to walk and talk, and feed myself again. Appreciate what you have as it's all relevant really, enjoy your day everone wherever you are, Find something to smile about and feel good. 👍❤️🙏
