Hey Coach why is NOT ok for romex to be exposed 9ft above in the ceiling as it enters the attic yet it is ok for it to be exposed as it comes back down and enters the main panel box in the basement so long as it is secured 12inches above the panel? Kind of a weird double standard.

depends on the inspector, our area it can be un sleeved and exposed over 8 ft
