@@GoneDiggin I truly appreciated this video bc I wanted to know exactly what type of acid everyone was talking abt. You named it and gave the break down of how to mix it and how to make it safe to discard. VERY helpful video.💪👏
I have cleaned glassware with acid and most of the time it does a good job. The most important thing of making an acid solution is NEVER ADD WATER TO ACID always ADD ACID TO WATER! Also to much baking soda to the spent acid can form a solution as harmful as the acid because acid is low Ph and baking soda can form a high Ph that will eat skin also. The Ph scale goes from 0 to 14 acid is the low end and basic is the high end and neutral is 7.0. Be careful and stay safe. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
Does the acid bath take away from the value of the bottle? If I were to sell my bottles, should I mention that they were acid washed? Thank you for sharing your method.
Use it all the time works well and like you said easy to do its how I clean mine awsome my friend really hope to see you this year I'm taking care of my mom so have to plan ahead to do anything these day good luck my friend hope your year is awsome tell the gang hi
@@GoneDiggin been pretty rough over the past year but we do what we need to do right. take care my friend and happy hunting hope to be able to do some of that myself but until then I'll watch you guys good luck
You actually don’t need any of that stuff. All you need are bb’s Some dish soap and a bottle brush. Shaking the bb’s around on the inside of the bottle cleans it like sparkly new. No need for all those harmful chemicals
Very cool video! Thank you! Is tumbling the ONLY way to get rid of "bottle sickness"?
I would think so but I’m not a expert this is just something I learned and wanted to pass along

This is baking soda, NOT caustic soda. Baking soda will never be dangerous as a solution.
Cool vid.. jw if you have a video on electrolysis or will you do one in the future..
Great 👍 It will be a study! Thank you 😊
I “Dig” what you do👍. Does this method strip the Patina sheen off of bottles?
awesome way to clean bottles matt great content and just on overall great channel brother
Very cool, I found some 1890s thru 1910 stuff that needs to be cleaned
Another great tip is don't leave water in the bottles if there is a chance of the water freezing.
Great video partner. Thanks 👍👍👍

Hey Matt
How's that do for hazy or fogging glass?
Depends on the bottle but sometimes they just have to be tumbled
Does this method affect glass sickness?
Honestly I dont know
Nice video!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks! Hope you are recovering well

Some times that works. This is just another “tool for the tool box”
Outstanding idea! Now how do I get the acid under my mother's radar.....
You will need to buy a new camera 📷
Will this method get rid of ticks on your skin?
Haha yes and you’re skin
