I noticed Pau is wearing 3” platform shoes and she is still tiny, but what an awesome powerhouse she is. She’s a force of nature and could absolutely be the front for any band in the world and make them shine! LONG LIVE PAULINA VILLARREAL!
TW met DPS when they were both on Ship Rocked back in February 2024 and I'm pretty sure they have been following one another. There is a video of Pau in the audience dancing and singing along to this song. I think that's how she was on DPS's radar. Pau has also mentioned DPS in interviews as a band she follows. This sort of camaraderie among up-and-coming bands is what the Rock music genre needs to expand the fanbase and draw more general public attention.
In an interview the DPS singer said he texted Ale the day before and asked if any of them wanted to sing with the band and Pau jumped on it. Someone did a great video on instagram where they spliced video from this performance with video of Pau rocking out to the same song in the crowd at Shiprocked. Crazy that one family has two women that could front pretty much any band.
Not my type of music, but I do love watching her perform this song with them. She never ceases to amaze me! I bet Dany and Ale were having a great time watching her. I couldn’t help but worry that she was going to trip on one of those loops
Well, Paulina has it ALL, and more !!! Plus she's a fan ! Even I starting to like this band... ⚡Viva Paulina⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
DPS are really great, live and on album. I saw them in August in a TINY club in Germany that was packed front to back and wall to wall. One of the best gigs I've seen in Years ( except DPA of course). Their last album (Fission) was also produced by Anton deLost. The bands have known each otrher since SHIPROCKED earlier this year where they both played.
On Spotify I listen to "The Warning Radio" a lot, it's songs from The Warning and similar bands that people who listen to The Warning also are listening to. After this performance Dead Poet Society became about 10% of the songs that Spotify suggested. The Warning effect is real, even the algorithms on Spotify caught on to it.
In an interview with Dead Poets Society they were asked who they were looking forward to seeing after their set, Slip Knot, Five Finger Death Punch? Their answer. The Warning, but they had already played. Anyone else? No not really. We've seen those other bands before. ❤😂❤
Someone commented on another video that Dead poet was at the Shiprock cruise and Pau and her sisters saw them in concert there, there is a video of Pau singing and rocking out to this song i believe i can't remember for sure but i have seen the video and she was all into it.
While the main stage was being set up for The Warning, the two large video screens were showing Pau singing with DPS on another stage. 😯 There is video of it. A guy was telling his friend "look it's Pau on another stage" and then he panned to the video screen and there she was. 🤯
Hey, Glenn and Adrian! It was awesome to hear better audio on this, and I was actually there! I was over at the Jack Daniels stage waiting for The Warning to perform when I heard someone say Pau's name. They were broadcasting DPS' performance on the big screens on either side of Jack Daniels, so I got to see and hear her performance. Just like you, I wasn't familiar with DPS at all. I think Pau did an awesome job of, as you say, not just singing but performing as a front-person. I loved The Warning's set and even have a few songs I recorded for my channel if you haven't already seen them elsewhere. I had just seen them a few days before at Pomona, but the outdoor large crowd experience was something else entirely. 😁
It's a fun little one-off. Glad to see it covered by you guys and move on. Also interested to see comments if anybody was in attendance at Aftershock, and their experience there. As an old dude, I passed on this show.
It would have been nice to have seen Pau with a wireless mike, she looked a little restricted on stage, but heck yeah, she really lifted the song when she came in. There is also a stage shot view of this performance by 69futura, which is Rudy.
Great reaction! Impresionante Pauli, pero, cuándo no? Ella hizo un gran trabajo. The Warning desborda talento. Thanks Glenn and Adrian! En realidad, me gustó este tema.
They’re not actually Berklee grads. They went there for one summer to take a class. Still pretty impressive that they were able to do that at their age
I meant the band Dead Poet Society met at Berklee, and the lead singer attended for at least 2 years, not sure if they graduated. So they have Berklee in common with The Warning.
Thanks, Glenn and Adrian. I've heard this band, and they're good, though they're not really my thing. But this song is catchy and one of the band's best in my opinion, and it's perfect for Paulina's participation who, as always, shines with her own light.
straight up, before listing to the brothers reaction, i found the lyrics; this is Hell You Call A Dream vibe.DeLost co-wrote,,but no way as good. disappointing. the band lacking in charisma ...now i'll see what the bros think;; Pau is always gold!!
As you said, "the main draw was to see Pau" ...........We now know what sound Pau listens to......Hoping the influence doesn't upset the apple cart! Thanks Guys!
How so much talent can be jammed into such a tiny package is a mystery I’ll never figure out.
Pau in an inexplicable anomaly.
well, that explains the big bang.

Pau channeling her inner Jagger. They should have given her a wireless mic though (she’d have been all over the stage) and turned up her volume. 😎👍
Definitely! her mic was low at least in the video maybe live it was better.
Hell Yeah!!!.. Pau is always Pau(Pow)🤘

I never knew 69futura was Rudy!
@@glennandadriansrocktalk
I think he is "Iban" who is in charge of recording everything on video during the tours.
69futura is not Rudy, but uses his (and others) material. You can check it with MartinTW, he knows who this person is
69Futura is Iban Chabez...

That mic cord was handicapping Pau, otherwise she would have been all over that stage.

Paulina una estrella de rock consumada ,es la nueva Mick Jagger del nuevo rock ,claro mucho mas bella
Paulina's a woman of many talents, it's too bad she was confined to half the stage, but it's all good.
