Well if you've been introduced to this album, you HAVE to do "I hope you hate me." and "Hard To Be God" UTO is my third favorite track. Those are the first two. You're in for a real treat. "All these fucking riffs," you say? Dog. Hard To Be God is riff city. You're gonna die.
Hell yeah, finally someone reacted to DPS! It would be great if you listen to 81 Tonnes from the same album, that's probably one of my favorite songs ever made
yes, you're welcome Steven. this is my favourite song of theirs and they actually played it live for the first time at my show! I agree. The verses give me such 80s vibes and it's sick
I love DPS, discovered them because they were playing support for badflower and they go so hard live 😍 saw them again last month snd plan on going to another show in August. Love the contrast between the heavy instrumental and Jack's angelic voice
Even though Dead Poet Society is not a band I hear most songs of (they are generally a bit too Hardcore for me personally), I do have 3 songs of them in my playlist (probably 3 of their more mainstream songs): 1. American Blood (the first one that got recommended by XouTube Music to me) 2. HURT 3. Running in Circles
From the moment I Heard ".cODA" on the radio. I was fixated on this band. Their incredible vocals combined with that swooning guitarwork with underrated breakdowns especially for a non metal band....oh so good. And so happy to see others getting turned onto them! The whole album Fission goes in too. My fave of 2024 so far. Lyrics cut deep for a breakup n No song sounds the same🤘
So damn glad you've been introduced to them because they are so damn good. Honestly could recommend almost any of their songs & I'd be confident you'd love it.
If you want to hear Jack's voice isolated, they have a few Shorts on their YT channel of his singing alone & it really shows how incredible his voice is.
