Last week, Sunak passed his Windsor Framework through Parliament to address the issues created by the Northern Ireland agreement. So has the Prime Minister finally succeeded in quashing any Brexiteer rebellions on his backbenches and got Brexit done?

@@SaintGerbilUKhow is the UK being afraid of falling apart because Northern Ireland having a border a Eu problem? States have borders. The UK wanting special treatment and then bitching about the evil eu not giving it to them is just ridiculous. Border in Ireland? Welp. Not our problem if you get issues with that. We don’t have to compromise something we have to accommodate an antic you have. Enjoy your shortages and such your great brexit gave you while pretending it was this huge win. Fact is: the UK wants something from the eu, that is a special deal due to the Ireland issue. Most Europeans would never feel the effect of a hard border there. The UK is just the minor partner in this negotiation, however acting like the eu had so much to loose with the UK. Not sure if you noticed. The British empire is gone. Britain is no longer such a massive influence that it is on the same level as an entire trade block in economic and political weight. Like literally the eu is just fine without the UK constantly whining for special treatment in some way inside it. In fact it arguably got improved by brexit as this flop massively decreased any desire of others to leave or try to squeeze out special treatment. Meanwhile the UK lost most of its world stage credibility by essentially trying to domestically change international agreements again and again. Good job. Big victory for Britain to be the bad example to point at for an entire continent lol
