What's odd? Populism had become the lifeblood of policy direction. Stoke a culture war and when it matures you pitch the policy that chimes. Johnson was an expert at just such strategy. Lt is not remotely that skilled and as a result will crash and burn very quickly. A general election may break that cycle but it's a big maybe.
I've not sympathy towards Truss or the Conservatives, but imagine yourself dreaming your whole life with becoming PM and climbing along the British political ladder with that objective. And now imagine that when you finally achieve your life goal, you screw it all spectacularly in record time. That has to be really hard for Liz Truss...

I was honestly expecting her to at least last long enough to get kicked out of Downing Street in the next general election when Labor completely wipes the floor with the Tories. I guess the conservatives are just that bad at their jobs. That being said, it is immensely satisfying watching the brexit disaster picking off the idiots that were backing it one by one like a slasher movie villain does to teenagers.
Didn't Brexit also pick off a bunch of opposition MPs who were against it? Like, the Lib Dems' leader lost her seat over it. Seems to me like it's less Brexit killing people as it is Brexit revealing which Politicians the British public can/cannot trust. (Turns out it's all of them, lol.)
I have no idea what Labour has done to the British people in the past, but the Conservatives are clearly the worse choice with negotiating the Brexit and everything else afterwards. You can always kick foreigners out of the UK after implementing sensible policies that help the population.
We can't just "kick foreigners out of the UK" and that's not what the Tories were elected for. Labour appeared half-hearted on Brexit and that was enough for a lot of typical working-class Labour voters to vote Tory. It's not just about money for them. They took pride in their identity and have felt it was under siege.
Andrew Marr is absolutely right. I don't support a monarchy normally but at this point our politicians are at a stalemate. She is doing perfectly!
Now this is the British sarcasm I know and love 🤣🇬🇧
UK's BlunderTruss seems to be shooting out massively damaging mistakes at a daily rate.
Those videos aged like fine wine with the rapid development of events.
British divided India basis caste and religion. The Karma is making them suffer basis race based voting. Accept it.
Hope sunak does not accept housekeeping jobs in the govt of Britain.
Have they considered Jim Hacker? He'd be a good compromise candidate.
Certainly would be a brilliant move!
Jim Hacker would be the best PM in a while..
Good suggestion, he has a lot of theoretical knowledge of how to run 10 downing Street ha ha ha
He'd be a skeleton of his former self wouldn't he....! 🙂
Oddly, Boris was never particularly unpopular when you compare him to modern prime ministers
Man, Boris is a modern Prime Minister.
No but he was a criminal and killed about 100K people through covid mismangement.
But you know....cake.
I can't stand that clown.
What's odd? Populism had become the lifeblood of policy direction. Stoke a culture war and when it matures you pitch the policy that chimes. Johnson was an expert at just such strategy. Lt is not remotely that skilled and as a result will crash and burn very quickly.
A general election may break that cycle but it's a big maybe.
brexit isn't a shot in your own foot, it's an amputated leg.
That's exactly what Russia wanted to achieve when they started the Brexit project.
@@scratchy996 'It's the Russians!'
@@MaryBrownIsTheBlairWitch yeah, it was the Russians
😂
@@basstard13 They're to blame for the toe I just stubbed.
Scotland to declare war and Republic of Ireland will try to form Northen .Ireland which means a big Uk civil war
What's the worst can happen with Brexit ?
Answer : This comedy
Lol
I mean this really has nothing to do with brexit, lizz was in power after brexit has been finished.
"The lady's not for tur--"
[falls through a trapdoor into a pit filled with crocodiles]
[That she had installed earlier.]
"I lied about the crocodiles"

@Bushflare
Goddbye, Mr Kwar…EURGH!!!!
Pull the lever Kronk!
WRONG LEVVVVEEEEEEEERRRRR!
Error at 6:12 - the conservatives won a 12-seat majority in 2015 under David Cameron. 2019 was not the first conservative majority since John Major.
The presenter is so much better than the one with the glasses.
What the UK teaches us is direct democracy is never good.
Not really, If anything it shows that thie method of swapping out one leader by another wirhout asking the nation destroys unity of nation and party, It leaves the winner in a worse position than an unknown.:thus no honeymoon, and the country with the unaddressed festering mess of problems ,,
Rishi should be given a chance. Anyone else will be another laugh on torries
Grand Opening! Grand Closing!
Following the latest U-turn, is Truss not now endorsing the economic policies which Sunak proposed?
Just let Labour take over at this point.
Thank you to the UK for making me feel better about my government.
we're turning into the World's Clowns
@@edmund184 yea but the crown is a great show, I’m sure the clown will be too.
Does Sunak even want the job until after Starmer?
Unbelievable on how the Christmas party participants during lockdown are forgiven and forgotten so easily…!!??
All because of lis and her stupid moves which made people think to give Boris another chance .
"Not particularly likely" - watching this one week into the future. Uh yeah....
Sunak is smart and shouldn't touch this dumpster fire even with a pole
God how depressing, you mean we have to put up with another year of this! We had better hope the king does his duty!
Damnit, you got me very very hopeful.
But then I remember it's the tories we are talking about.
No legitimacy is not a problem for them.
I have no idea what Labour has done to the British people in the past, but the Conservatives are clearly the worse choice with negotiating the Brexit and everything else afterwards. You can always kick foreigners out of the UK after implementing sensible policies that help the population.
You didn't hear about Jeremy Corbin, I guess.
@@itisabird You mean Tony Blair supporting the Iraq war!!
I'll be PM. The final vote by party members to elect PMs should be abolished.
🤝👆👍
Andrew Marr is absolutely right. I don't support a monarchy normally but at this point our politicians are at a stalemate. This is exactly what the monarch is there for, not to directly intervene but to gently nudge the PM into calling an election. The citizens of the United Kingdom are suffering because of the House of Commons being unstable. It's time for Charles to step in and tell her to form her own mandate and take it to the country.
She is to Prime Ministry what Eddie the eagle was to ski jumping. Although I think I’d rather have Eddie as PM.
Eddie at least had a clear goal, and people liked him.
Eddie did manage to not smash himself to pieces on first attempt.
I’ll rather have Truss as a ski jumper
Eddie was fully aware of how ' good ' he was.
lol!@@allyw7405 have you seen that combination of ski jumping and clay pigeon shooting?
I can see that being fun with a few recent Tory MP's - PULL!!!!
